Hi Ed,
Do you think the law was an inadequate guide for men under the law?
Do you think Jesus had an advantage over every other Jewish man?
Did Jesus not fulfill the law and prove it was possible to do so?
Was not Moses and the prophets real food for their journey?
He was born under the law, not yet the law of the Spirit.
Man cannot live on bread alone but by every word from the mouth of God.
Thy Word is a lamp to my feet.
Grace, grace, grace.

Acts 13.9f
This Man was listening to Paul as he spoke , who, when he had fixed his gaze on him and seen that he had faith to be made well, said with a loud voice
’Stand upright on your feet’
and he leaped up and began to walk. When the crowds saw what Paul had done, they raised their voice, saying in the Lycaonian language,
’The gods have become like men and have come down to us’
And they began calling Barnabas, Zeus and Paul, Hermes, because he was the chief speaker. The priest of Zeus, whose temple was just outside the city, brought oxen and garlands to the gates, and wanted to offer sacrifice with the crowds. But when the apostles Barnabas and Paul heard of it, they tore their robes and rushed out into the crowds , crying out and saying
’Why, are you doing these things? We are also men of the same nature as you, and preach the gospel to you that you should turn from these vain things to a living God, Who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and al that is in them. In the generations gone by He permitted all the nations to go their own ways; and yet He did not leave Himself without witness, in that He did good and gave you rains from heaven and fruitful seasons, satisfying your hearts with food and gladness’
Natural men seeing the work of God done through holy vessels ascribe the work to the men.
Jesus the Christ, and his anointed brothers are servants of the living God.
They were all of the same nature as the listeners.

It is a form of “Idolatry”. Jesus never did that, nor would any true believer do it either, that is stealing glory from God the Father, a very dangerous thing to do. GOD SAID “HE GIVES (HIS) GLORY TO NO MAN”, JESUS SAID I HAVE GLORIFIED “YOU” UPON THE EARTH, NOT HIMSELF. PETER had the same problem also as i recall.
Remember when Jesus said to Mary, concerning Lazarus resurection, “Said I not unto you, that, if you would believe, you should see the glory OF GOD? Now notice Jesus’ very next words, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me, and I knew that you hear me always: (now notice what he says) “but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that you have sent me”.
Why did he say that?, was it not because the people who heard him say “that you might see the Glory of God”, could have thought Jesus was the one doing it, and showing them, he was God, by saying, “see the glory of God”. So Jesus clarified why he said it, it was not to portray himself as a God, but to let them know, GOD SENT HIM. JESUS DID NOT LET ANYONE THINK HE WAS A GOD.
Why can’t trinitarians see that Nick?
Peace and love to you and yours? ………gene

Peter said that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God.
Jesus confirmed that this came from the Spirit
But you disagree with the Spirit?
