There are many derivations that are true, did you not know that?
The centurion used a spear on Jesus' corpse to insure he was dead.

Sword H2719 חָ֫רֶב kheh'-reb: axe, dagger, knife, mattock, sword, tool
From charab; drought; also a cutting instrument (from its destructive effect),
as a knife, sword, or other sharp implement — axe, dagger, knife, mattock, sword, tool.

The derivation of “Spear” (from Isaiah 14:19) most definitely fits the definition of חָ֫רֶב !
