    Hi Ed,
    Yes.
But not to rush to judgement.
A house no matter how well built lasts longer on a sound foundation.

Unless the lord builds the house the builders labour in vain

    Hi Nick,

Then why would YOU rush to judgment?

    Hi Ed,
Bringing stuff to the light of scripture is not personal.
Your words will stand if scripture agrees with them just like anyone elses.

    Hi Nick,

1Corinthians 3:13-15 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it,
because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man's
work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by [HolySpirit] fire.

Hi Wakeup, (our discussion began here in the seventh and eighth posts)

Our conversation together started with 'wishy washy' responses
to the question of: is or is not 'Lucifer' the 'son of perdition'.

I believe Isa.14:19-20 proves conclusively that 'Lucifer' is
indeed the 'son of perdition', and seek to prove it to
you and everyone here as well! (1Thess.5:21)

Let's try to keep this discussion on track, OK?   …I
may have to remind you if it starts getting off track.

    God bless

    EDJ.

If lucifer is the son of perdition, what does that say of God?
If I am the son of an evil man, what does that say about my father?

    wakeup.

    Hi WU,
It does not bear thinking about.
Where do these monstrous ideas arise from?

You understand scripture but some you can not decern the deeper meaning.

    Hi Wakeup,

Not sure what you are implying here?
    …but it doesn't sound Kosher to me;
    …what are you suggesting anyway?

Ezek 18:20 The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father,
neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness
of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

Hi Wake-up, your sentence appears to be contradictory.

What “deeper meaning” are you suggesting I have not discerned?      …please answer?

Exegesis of scripture does not involve opinion does it?

    Hi Nick,

Why would you suggest logic and opinion are not involved?
Is not God capable of having his teachers so informed?

    Hi Nick,

Ephesians 4:11-14 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and
some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for
the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge
of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind
    of doctrine
    , by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

    God bless

    Hi ED,
The teaching ministry is given from above.
    Education is not qualification.
