    Hi Mike,

What I HAVE said is that you do know Jesus name, and the verse says…
“and he had a name written, that no man knew,” (Rev 19:12)

Now, since it is a FACT that you do know the name Jesus,
has this not DISQUALIFIED him form being “The Word”?
…if not, why not? Please give us an explanation?

    God bless
    Ed J

Think it out, Ed.  You think the Word in Rev 19:13 is the Holy Spirit.  And you think God's Holy Spirit is actually God Himself.

So if the one with the name nobody knows was “God”, then I could offer you the same argument you're offering me.  I could say, “Well, we already KNOW God's name, YHWH, so “God” is DISQUALIFIED from that scripture.”

    Hebrews 1:4
So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

    Revelation 3:12
Him who overcomes…………. I will also write on him my new name.

Ed, Jesus has inherited a NEW name – one that no one knows except for him.

So, does the fact that that he has his unknown new name written on him exclude the rider from being Jesus?

    If so, please explain why.

    Hi Mike,

    1) One reason is because WE know the name “Jesus” and “Christ”; Rev 19:12 then disqualifies him.

    2) Another reason is because Isaiah 63:10 identifies the “HolySpirit” as the one in battle.

    3) Another reason is because Eph.6:17 identifies “The Spirit” as “The Word”.

Matt. 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more,
that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

Do you know the name of the HolySpirit?

    God bless

    Revelation 14
11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war.

Who will rule in justice?  (Psalm  45:6, Hebrews 1:8)
Who has been appointed as judge?  (John 5:22, 27)
Who will go to war?  (1 Corinthians 15:24-25, Revelation 17:14)

12 His eyes are like blazing fire……….

Whose eyes are like blazing fire?  (Revelation 1:14, 2:18)

15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”

Who has a sword coming out of his mouth?  (Revelation 1:16, 2:16)
Who will rule with an iron scepter?  (Psalm 2:9)

16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Who is the King of kings and Lord of lords?  (Revelation 17:14)

Ed, all of these things describe “the Word of God” in Revelation 19.  If you cannot see that these things describe Jesus, then I fear that you are trying very hard to not see it.

    Hi Mike,

to have lengthy discussions on each one of these again?

    NO:that is not what I say;Eddy I know that you have a great knowledge in scriptures but ,what is making you fail in truth is the fact that you do not let the scriptures teach you ,just as it is written ,in this way ,it is Christ and his father that is teaching you ,and so remove the the mud from your eyes so that you could see clearly ,all the thing you know from scriptures ;

look at Paul he was highly educated man and well spoken oral and written , extremely knowledgeable ,but look what he did his knowledge was killing Christ disciples ,so when Christ made him blind so he could see with his heart and trust in GOD,

it is not what you ,you, you, know ;it is what God make available to you to know ,in his way and time,

    If so, please explain why.

    Hi Mike,

    1) One reason is because WE know the name “Jesus” and “Christ”; Rev 19:12 then disqualifies him.

Ed, please just DIRECTLY address my bolded question. Also address my point about us also knowing what God's name is.

Ed, please just DIRECTLY address my bolded question.  Also address my point about us also knowing what God's name is.

    Hi Mike,

Jesus' new name is “Christ”, and now we are called “Christians”. (Acts 11:26)

That is what the text suggests.

    Revelation 14
12 His eyes are like blazing fire……….

    1.  Whose eyes are like blazing fire, according to Revelation 1:14 and 2:18?

15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”

    2.  Who has a sword coming out of his mouth, according to Revelation 1:16 and 2:16?

    3.  Who will rule with an iron scepter, according to Psalm 2:9?

    Hi Mike,

I have explained each of these to you before, would you like
to have lengthy discussions on each one of these again?

    God bless
    Ed J

No lengthy discussion needed, Ed.  Just DIRECTLY answer the three bolded questions for me.

    Hi Mike,

    1) The term “flame of fire” is not isolated to Jesus, the common denominator here is the “HolySpirit. (see Heb.1:7)

    2) A “sharp sword” refers to “the Word” of God spoken as a weapon.
Again this term is not isolated to Jesus, but instead the common denominator is the “HolySpirit”. (see Isaiah 49:2)

    3) Once again this term, “rod of iron”, is not isolated to Jesus,
but instead the common denominator is the “HolySpirit”. (see Psalm 110:2)

My answers are relevant to your questions, though you 'may' not like them.
What you consider as conclusive proof, only supports what I have been telling you.
You now are beginning to see evidence that you have never considered before, and so be it!

Mike: Could I put in my 2cents worth here? I believe God is every name! God is all and in all! That's why the term “God” is used. An actual name would be a limitation for an “unlimited” source! The use in the New Testament of the word, ''name'' is always an “authoritative rank'' or ''position of authority'' or ''total authority! For me, when Jesus said,…go in my ''name'' he was

saying….go in my “authority”….go in my “power”….go in my “stead” or “instead of me”! When you pray in “Jesus” name it means to draw from the authority and power given to Jesus. All power in heaven and earth is given to Jesus…..AND JESUS PASSED IT ON TO HIS NEW BORN SPIRIT BROTHERS! For what reason? THAT WE MIGHT BE ALL…ONE…TOGETHER…IN GOD!

My thoughts and opinions, bless you and yours, TK

Tim…………….Very good post brother, God is Omnipresent because GOD is Spirit (intellect) AND as all Spirits they can be in All and Work through ALL> God is Spirit and Spirit in not a BEING it is what is (IN a Being, and if we have the same Spirit that was (IN Jesus (IN) us (IT) will work the Same Way (IT) worked (IN) him. I have said before a big problem with people they do not under really understand what SPIRIT IS> It is not what most think (IT) is. IMO

peace and love to you and yours……………………………………………………………………gene

Jesus was already known as the Christ of God long before he said, “I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.”

Is the Holy Spirit ever said to have EYES of fire, Ed?  YES or NO?

If the “sharp sword” IS the Holy Spirit, then “the Word of God” in 19:13 is a being who isn't the Holy Spirit itself, but who has the Holy Spirit coming out of his mouth.  Do you agree?

Ps 110:2 is about Jesus, not the Holy Spirit.  Do you agree?

While I do appreciate the DIRECT way you've answered my questions this time, none of what you said changes “the Word of God” in 19:13 from Jesus to the Holy Spirit.  In fact, you've quoted Ps 110, which is CLEARLY about David's Lord, Jesus, and have tried to make it be about the Holy Spirit.  ???

Please answer these three bolded questions in the same direct manner you answer the last three.

    peace,

    Tim,

I disagree. And I'm not seeing the connection between what you posted and what Ed and I are discussing.

To All……..The SEVEN SPIRITS of GOD ARE the EYES of GOD that go to and fro through out ALL the earth. These Spirits are in every creature that has life and that are going to and fro in all this world. They give life to God creation enabling GOD creation to sustain themselves.

Jesus is not himself the Holy Spirit, he has these Seven Spirits with POWERS (HORNS), that does not make HIMSELF those Spirits. He speaks to us there  specific (intellects) . Therefore he say , Whosoever has eyes to see and ears to here let him here what the SPIRIT SAYS, unto the churches. Jesus in NOT THOSE SPIRITS they are speaking through HIM> Notice he did not say Hear what I SAY did He but he said what the SPIRIT is saying unto the Churches. Simple if you understand what Spirit really is. IMO

peace and love to you all………………………………………………………….gene
