Nick, these are your own words. Why then do you fight against me for preaching this very thing?Reading through this thread, I noticed that back then, you were preaching the exact same scriptural truth that you fight me for preaching today.
But then again, back then you were aligned to the truth that Jesus was the Word who was with God and became flesh.
It seems your understanding of certain scriptural teachings has changed drastically. Pity, we might have been great comrades fighting the good fight side by side 5 years ago.

What I have been offered are many illogical, alternate scenarios that are all rebuked by scripture itself.
But so far, no actual SCRIPTURE that says my understanding is wrong. Lord knows, if I were to be shown such a scripture, I'd adjust my understanding in a heartbeat.

That is because WE who are in Christ are above all other beings, even mighty angels.[heb]Why do you only post the last half of Paul's teaching, Nick?
He starts by telling us that there ARE those called gods, whether IN HEAVEN or on earth, as indeed, there ARE many gods and many lords.
He teaches us that though there DO EXIST others, we hold as our God, only the Father, and as our Lord, only Jesus.
This is emphatical speaking, and shouldn't confuse the reader into thinking Jesus is literally the only lord in existence, for there exist many others, including our heavenly Father.
Likewise, his words shouldn't convince the reader that Jehovah is literally the only god in existence, for there exist many others, both in heaven and on earth.
If we were to take his teaching out of context, we could conclude that there is literally only one theos in existence. But should we pick and choose which words of the sentence we will believe, while ignoring the words that don't suit us personally?
