God takes a crop.
His word never returns to him void
Lk7
28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.29 And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.
30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.

Because of the work of John people responded to the words of Jesus.
Those who did not get baptised caused the Lord the greatest problemsLk 7
29 And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.

njohn was send to the Jews by prophecy ,you try by all means to justify your view on baptism ,
but John said about Jesus ;
Jn 1:30 This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’
Jn 1:31 I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.”Lk 3:16 John answered them all, “I baptize you with water. But one more powerful than I will come, the thongs of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. .He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire
if Jesus baptizes with water then how does he also uses fire

Romans 8:18
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.2 Corinthians 1:5
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.2 Corinthians 1:6
And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.2 Corinthians 1:7
And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.June 11, 2014 at 10:26 pm#388449terrariccaParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 12 2014,03:58) Hi T,

Water baptism in the name of Jesus always went with preaching and repentance in acts
nothing has changedJune 11, 2014 at 11:24 pm#388471terrariccaParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ June 12 2014,04:52) Hi,

NGod never changes but if you claim that you have to be baptized then do it ,if you feel that you want to be circumcised then do it ,this is not an obligation but a act for your own conscience ,
my heart as been circumcised ,and my heart as received the baptism of Christ and so is found in chains by it ,
but not all are this way ,
