Quote (942767 @ Aug. 08 2009,13:49) Hi BD: Quote Mat 12:42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon [is] here. Quote Mar 1:7 And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose. Quote Mat 22:41 ¶ While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,
Mat 22:42 Saying, What think ye of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, [The Son] of David.
Mat 22:43 He saith unto them, How then doth David in spirit call him Lord, saying,
Mat 22:44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?
Mat 22:45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son? While it is true that the doctrine of “the trinity” is a misunderstanding of scripture, and that there is only “One God”, Jesus is a man, but no, not just any man, he is the “Only Begotten Son of the Most High God.
I am praying for you and all Muslims and Jews. God loves you and so do I, and I desire the best that God has to offer for you and your family.
It appears to me that you were a Christian at one time and that you were deceived into believing what you now seem to believe. But there is no way that you would have received the Holy Spirit except by believing the Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God, and that God has raised him from the dead, and that he is the propitiation for your sins, and if you received the Holy Ghost by believing, how is it now that the Holy Ghost will teach you something different? If you are now trying to be saved through obedience to the Law, you have fallen from grace. Without the shed blood of Jesus, there is no remedy for sin when we fall short of perfect obedience.
Love in Christ,
Marty
I never believed that Jesus is God so from the very beginning of God teaching me, there was no other god than God. I did always understand Jesus as the Son of God and that belief hasn't changed but the term “son of God ” was taught to me by God to mean “intimate servant or Closest of those who serve”I am a Christian and I am a Muslim in otherwords I followed Christ in Peace(Islam) and submitted to God(Muslim)
The Holy Spirit teaches us that God is The Compassionate and The Merciful.
The Holy Spirit teaches us according to what we can bear!

Gene,For the first trime I must tell you that makes no sense whatsoever.
You don't know who is in there graves spiritually and according to Jesus, YOU ARE WRONG!
DB…….2 Peter 3:15…..> And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul als according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; ..16..> As also in all epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they tat are (UNLEARNED) and (UNSTABLE) wrest, as they do also the other Scriptures unto their own destruction.DB………it seem pretty evident Perter accepted Pauls writtings as authorial. Gene,Did Peter and Paul join together and stay together or did they go their seperate ways?
Is it not true that Paul had decided that he was to be an apostle to the gentiles
Peter continued doing what Jesus taught him to do.
Also, in 2 Peter 3:15 it is not stated in the first or last chapter who the author is, however what is it, that Paul says that is hard to understand?
Again the author is credited in the Bible to be Peter but the actual text does not say who is the Author but one thing is certain and that is there was conflict between them and they parted ways.
Just remember God spoke about “A foolish Nation”
Deuteronomy 32
21They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.Isn't Christianity this people and this foolish nation?
December 22, 2009 at 3:23 pm#165861CLIO-PATRAParticipantnow that would be a sensible thing to do … Paul is the serpent in the gospel – the poisoned chalice … two birds with one stone eh …. hmmmm what about the whore's daughters the Protestants … ouch!!

The words of Paul are for those established in Christ.
He will always be seen as an enemy by those of the world.December 30, 2009 at 2:01 am#167088bodhithartaParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Dec. 23 2009,04:21) Hi,

You have your theology confused. Jesus said how they feel about him they would feel about those who follow him so if there are many like CP who love Jesus greatly and call Paul a snake, what do you make of it?CP is saying they are not of the world they are with Christ how is it you feel encouraged to judge that they are not in Christ because they accept Christ and reject Paul, is Paul “Christ” to you now?

I thought you had to accept Jesus, not Saul of Tarsus!

It's scary for some because they find it to be a slippery slope as if Paul must be right for Jesus to be the MessiahDecember 30, 2009 at 9:18 pm#167243NickHassanParticipantHi BD,
You have rejected the messiah for yourself preferring later imposters so how does it relate to you? - AuthorPosts
