Hi All,
GOD WILL SAVE ALL — JESUS DID NOT DIE IN VAIN
(112 REASONS TO BELIEVE THIS IS SO)https://www.godfire.net/Elwin/112_reasons_2Columns.html
August 16, 2018 at 5:25 am#833692TruthcomberParticipantHi Gene,
We will never die in the spirit. Our bodies will die and we will receive new bodies of the spirit in the likeness of the old bodies in the flesh.
August 16, 2018 at 7:34 am#833693NickHassanParticipantHi TC,
So the LAKE OF FIRE has become the PURGATORY of Catholicism.
You deny the finality of the Judgement.
August 16, 2018 at 9:05 am#833695GeneBalthropParticipantTC….I see it that way too, i believe we shall recieve new bodies of flesh and bone, as JESUS NOW HAS, REMEMBER what Paul said ,
Eph 5:30 we are members of his body of his flesh and of his bones.
I believe the first resurection takes place at Jesus’ return to rule this earth, with the “resurected” saints.
Good post TC.
Peace and love to you and yours. …..gene

APOKATASTASIS IN THE THOUGHT OF ORIGEN AND GREGORY OF NYSSA
Published December 12, 2007- Repent therefore, and turn to God so that your sins may be wiped out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah appointed for you, that is, Jesus, who must remain in heaven until the time of universal restoration (απ) that God announced long ago through his holy prophets. Acts 3:19-21 (NRSV)

Yes, Christ had to first ascend into heaven where he is there temporarily before he returns to earth where he was created. He will rule the earth from Jerusalem. His father will be here also.
Acts 3:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

August 16, 2018 at 11:55 am#833710TruthcomberParticipantHi Anthony,
I think we believe in the same thing as far as restoration of all things are concern. Apocatastasis is the word for restoration or restitution. This is the idea , which has scripture support was espoused by Origen and othersAugust 16, 2018 at 11:56 am#833711August 16, 2018 at 11:59 am#833712AnthonyParticipantHi Nick
You said on page one.
From Paul, who by God’s will is an apostle of Christ Jesus, and from our brother Timothy-
TO God’s people in Colossae, WHO ARE OUR FAITHFUL BROTHERS IN UNION WITH CHRIST:’
Check the context.
Colossians 1:1-20 New King James Version (NKJV)
Greeting
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,
2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are in Colosse:
Grace to you and peace from God our Father [a]and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Their Faith in Christ
3 We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, 4 since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints; 5 because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, 6 which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth [b]fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth; 7 as you also learned from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf, 8 who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.
Preeminence of Christ
9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness and [c]conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption [d]through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or [e]principalities or [f]powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
Reconciled in Christ
19 For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20 and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.
Nick you make it out that the context, is just the greeting and the church’s faith yes Nick Paul is speaking to the church of Cool. do you see where V.15-20 start’s talking all about Jesus Christ and all that He’s done, doing and what Jesus will do? and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross. All here means All . Every last thing . Look it up Nick k God bless.

August 16, 2018 at 12:33 pm#833720AnthonyParticipantHi truthcomber
The restoration of all things will be accomplished at the creation of the New Heaven and the New Earth.
Revelation 21:1-6a
1 Now I saw a new heavenand a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. 4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away”. 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new”. And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful”. 6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End…”Yes, the time will come, at the creation of the Eternal Kingdom of God of the New Heaven and the New Earth, when Jesus Christ will bring to completion God’s Plan of Universal Reconciliation and Salvation, which He is working out in seven biblical ages. This will be when there will be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain. This will be when God the Father Himself comes down to this earth, which would have been refined, cleansed and renewed, to dwell with all people. Father God will be n all in all (1 Corinthians 15:28 the Father rules through Jesus Christ in Jerusalem and the elect rule with during the 1000 year. And the Father at the new heaven and Earth after Jesus Christ turned the kingdom over to His Father
God bless

Yes, Christ had to first ascend into heaven where he is there temporarily before he returns to earth where he was created.
Did I get your train of thought wrong some how, if so I apologize.

August 17, 2018 at 12:28 am#833738AnthonyParticipantHi All
It is important to understand that there are two types of God’s Elect who will enter Christ’s Millennial Kingdom. There are God’s Elect, the few 144,000 Firstfruits, predestined to be saved before the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. They will enter the Millennial Kingdom in their saved immortal glorified spirit bodies. They are the resurrected Bride of Christ, who will be resurrected in the First Resurrection, after the 3½ years of the Tribulation, when the sign of the returning Jesus Christ appears in heaven, at the start of the one-year Great Tribulation period.
The other type of God’s Elect are the many ‘a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues’ (Revelation 7:9)
A Multitude from the Great Tribulation
9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,
f the Great Tribulation. They are predestined to be saved after the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, during the Millennial Kingdom of God. Therefore, they will enter the Millennial Kingdom of God in their not yet saved, mortal fleshly bodies. The sub-section entitled ‘The Survivors: Elect Gentile Sheep
God has determined, right from the foundation of the world, that there will be three distinct groups of survivors of the Great Tribulation who will enter the Millennial Kingdom in their fleshly bodies. These are Elect Jews, Elect Gentiles (the Sheep) and non-Elect Gentiles (the Goats). God bless

Hosea 1:10
10 “Yet the number of the children of Israel
Shall be as the sand of the sea,
Which cannot be measured or numbered.
And it shall come to pass
In the place where it was said to them,
‘You are [e]not My people,’
There it shall be said to them,
‘You are sons of the living God.’Rev.7:9 9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands
August 17, 2018 at 12:57 am#833740AnthonyParticipantHi All
´s final judgement of all unbelieving humanity in the Lake of Fire and the Second Death.
The Great White Throne Judgement Age is the Sixth Age in God’s Plan for All, which He is working out in seven biblical ages. This Sixth Age will be ushered in immediately at the end of the thousand-year Millennial Kingdom of God. The whole population of the Millennial world, billions of people who will be alive at the end of the glorious thousand-year Millennial Kingdom of God, will be prepared and looking forward to God ushering in the Great White Throne Judgement Age, as prophesied in the Bible.
There are two important events, which will take place simultaneously at the end of the thousand-year Millennial Kingdom, before the Great White Throne Judgement Age begins. These events are the Second Resurrection and the release of Satan from his prison.
