Devo, who has changed his username to Wayne, he cannot log in to reply,
so I am contacting you for him.He managed to reply a few days ago, but cannot reply today.
I have taken him step by step through all the prompts, but he does not have the b, i link buttons etc showing on his screen at the bottom of the page where we insert our reply.He has the Topic Tags:,
and the box under it,
and the “Notify me of follow-up replies via email”
and the “comments are closed” box,
but no where to reply.
Why would it work a few days ago for him and not now?
Has this got something to do with his settings? or the settings on your end, or is he doing something wrong.
We went through everything 3 times.There is a user called Devolution and the name Wayne is not in the profile anywhere. That users profile looks good BTW. No devo though.
There is a member called thyservant with the visible name as Wayne.
A spam plugin had marked that member due to a proxy server when registering.
I rechecked that member which hopefully allows posting.
If it is him, tell me if he can post now.

He did say that he couldn’t reply when he first came on as Devolution (because we later discovered he was replying in the subforums and not the topics)
So he re-registered under another name hoping it would help, and decided to use the name thyservant, and typed it in the wrong box. Wayne came out as his user name, and he is happy with that. He wants to stick with his user name as Wayne, and any other accounts under his other names to be deleted please.Okay, here is what I believe is going on. He is seeing “no Comments” because he is not successfully logging in. If he was logging in, then he would be able to comment. Simple as that. So what is going on?
He thinks his username is Wayne. It isn’t. It is thyservant. Wayme is his display name.
So he should log in with thyservant and whatever the password is.
But I have a better idea. I can help him log into his Devolution account and obviously he has some history here, so he can see his old posts.
I can also change the Devolution log in name, but bear in mind, whatever his login name, he can change his display name to almost anything he wants.
I think he should keep his Devolution account. Is he happy to do that? I can then delete his thyservant account as it has no history and he can call himself Wayne or whatever from his Devolution account. Plus I can even rename his login to whatever he wants.

Thanks. I just rang Devolution, and he said he will try again and log in under Devolution later tonight..
Cool. He can request a new password if he cannot log in. If his email address in his profile is no longer active, then Private Message me with his new email address and I will put it in his profile so he can request a new password.

I went to Devolutions house to help him with this situation.
He requested the change of password, followed the prompts,
successfully logged in, but still unable to reply.
He requested a change of password about 5 times, lol! so just warning.
I got him to email you personally, so I am just repeating in case you didn’t get the email.
