A”heathen”, as you put it, can be blessed by God, all blessings come from him, just as grace to all comes from him. His grace is for all who will except it. So then the apostles never spoke to sinners, just the righteous? You might want to reread Acts – Revelation again.
Hi Thetruth,
Grace and peace came though Jesus Christ.
You must come to him to be reborn of the Spirit of Grace.February 5, 2009 at 10:23 pm#120450thetruthParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 06 2009,08:55) Quote (thetruth @ Feb. 06 2009,06:06) Quote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 27 2009,04:58) Hi,

Hi Thetruth,

You must come to him to be reborn of the Spirit of Grace.Quote Hi Thetruth,
Grace and peace came though Jesus Christ.
You must come to him to be reborn of the Spirit of Grace. You must be born again to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit, but grace is for all. One who does not receive the gift freely does not receive God's grace. Therefore, they will not live with him in heaven. I believe we might be speaking of grace in two differing concepts. I am speaking of the availability to have grace, where I believe you are speaking of the actual receiving of grace. What I am saying is that grace is offered to all by God, freely to all who will except it. If you do not except God's grace then you do not receive grace. Grace is not a blessing, but a gift. Look at those who are blessed with riches by God here on earth, but do not except him. They have their reward now, but will not receive the ultimate reward, life with our Lord in his heaven. They have been blessed, but have not excepted God's grace. I hope that explains where I was coming from. I believe in essence we in agreement, though not stating it well. Peace, blessings, and grace be to you also.

Where does scripture say all have now or will receive grace?Ephesians 3:2
If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:Ephesians 4:7
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.{who is US?]Titus 2:11
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,2 Timothy 1:9
Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,2 Timothy 2:1
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.1 Peter 1:10
Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:James 4:6
But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.February 6, 2009 at 8:10 pm#120549thetruthParticipantAll the verses you gave show He gives grace.
One example is here:“For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,” – Titus 2:11
God's grace is for all men, that choose to except it. If you do not except God's grace you do not get God's grace. It is pretty simple actually.February 6, 2009 at 8:32 pm#120552NickHassanParticipantHi Thetruth,
Grace and peace came through Jesus Christ.Tit3
4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
It suffices for our needs as we walk.
2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.February 8, 2009 at 12:01 am#120699GeneBalthropParticipantNick…..Grace and Peace might came through Jesus, but they came from GOD HIMSELF> Lets not forget that. Paul was talking about not the power of Jesus resting upon Him , but the Power of the ANOINTING (SPIRIT) of GOD. You keep trying to move The FATHER out of the picture Nick. ALL things come from GOD including Jesus, Jesus did not come from Jesus. Be like Jesus Glorify the FATHER Nick.

Jesus is appointed Lord of all.
All authority has been given to him.
Do you not know the Lord Jesus?February 8, 2009 at 3:25 am#120715GeneBalthropParticipantNick….I know Him, but better yet I know His LORD AND MASTER, the FATHER, what about you, has Jesus shown you the FATHER yet or is He trying to and you are not willing. Jesus to the GLORY of the FATHER.

Yes Jesus seems an evanescent figure to you.
Yet he is your Lord?February 8, 2009 at 4:01 am#120719GeneBalthropParticipantNick….I also can say the same about you, the FATHER seems an evanescent figure to you. And He is your lords (LORD) . But i can even say more, those who come to Jesus when He comes, seems to have disregarded the FATHER also and thought as you, its all about Jesus and His Lordship , not realizing it was really about the FATHER and HIS LORDSHIP> Nick preach who Jesus preached and Praise who Jesus Praised and Worship who Jesus worshiped and Give Glory to who Jesus gave the Glory to. WE are called (along side) our brother not beneath Him. Before it to late brother.

Jesus did call some his brothers.

Nick,Romans 8:17
Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his gloryWe are all children of God. Jesus is our brother. What else would he be? Jesus certainly wouldn't share his inheritence with anyone other than a relative – would he?
February 8, 2009 at 5:48 am#120735NickHassanParticipantHinot3,
It is the perogative of the Lord to say so
Matthew 10:24
The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.Matthew 24:45
Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?Matthew 24:46
Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.Matthew 24:50
The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware ofFebruary 8, 2009 at 5:57 am#120739Not3in1ParticipantAgain, I disagree.
Our inheritence is given by our heavenly Father – not Jesus! Jesus shares in the inheritence. We are co-heirs.
After Jesus became the firstborn from the dead……we will follow…..his brothers. All of us, God's children.
February 8, 2009 at 6:17 am#120741NickHassanParticipantHi not3,
Paul and Timothy and others are called brothers in scripture.Hebrews 2:11
For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,Can you find any scripture that calls Jesus a brother?
Then should we?February 8, 2009 at 6:30 am#120746Not3in1ParticipantThe Father tells us that Jesus is the first of many brothers…..WE follow. That is pretty clear, is it not?
February 8, 2009 at 6:34 am#120747NickHassanParticipantHi not3,
So in answer to the question how many of the servants dared to call their Lord a brother?February 8, 2009 at 8:00 am#120753Not3in1ParticipantI don't remember your question, was there a question?
The point is, we are his brother's and sister's.We have One Father, you know.
We're family.
We get what he gets.Ephesians 2:6

None?February 8, 2009 at 1:31 pm#120770SEEKINGParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 07 2009,23:17) Can you find any scripture that calls Jesus a brother?
Then should we?Quote MT 12:48-50 He replied to him, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” Pointing to his disciples, he said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” Quote MT.28:10 Then Jesus said to them, “Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me.” - AuthorPosts
