Quote (karmarie @ Mar. 27 2011,11:09) Gene, it's good having wispring here dont you think? The sites been really peaceful and really good in the past day or two. I'm actually learning things here.
Hi, It is good to have both Wispring and Paladin. Finally I can debate without them calling me names. That is what I call Christians. We all fall short of the glory of God, and we don't always agree on everything…. That I appreciate…
Thank you…..
Peace and Love IreneMarch 27, 2011 at 8:06 am#240785karmarieParticipantAmen Irene and Gene and Pierre.
It's what it should be like, and it's what the bible says.
Iv only just started reading Paladins posts, sorry. I'm catching up slowly.

WispringMarch 28, 2011 at 5:08 pm#240991GeneBalthropParticipantWispring…………I think a good study would be to exactly Identify the Seven particular Spirits (intellects) of GOD are we already know what some are i believe , the Spirit of Truth, The Power to understand what is true or not , remember Jesus told his disciples to remain in Jerusalem until they recieved POWER from ON High. And of course AFTER that then they were sen out into the World to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of GOD, Just as Jesus was after he recieved Power from on High too. I believe a good through search on these Seven Spirit would be Helpful to all of us. IMO

Hi Gene:Maybe this will help:
Quote Isaiah 11
1And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:2And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
3And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

MartyMarch 30, 2011 at 4:35 am#241182GeneBalthropParticipantMarty……..Thanks and where is say he shall not judge after the sight of (HIS) eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of (HIS) ears, Shows plainly that He shall judge after the eyes of the Seven Spirits of GOD mentioned in REVELATIONS> Not (HIS) own self, So how could the word Be Jesus as Mike and his fellow preexistences claims be true if Jesus himslef is the “WORD OF GOD” if that were the case then Jesus himslef would be Judging from himself , but as you have posted it is Not the SIGHT of (HIS) EYES nor the hearing of (HIS) EARS, that he will judge. But is is the by The SEVEN SPIRIT of GOD. Which he also said were the Word (OF GOD), not his words. I do know you understand this Marty.

March 30, 2011 at 11:01 pm#241273WispringParticipantHi Gene,
I understand that you understand God's spirit(s) via an 'out of ONE comes many' mental framework. I personally don't see this as a contradiction to scripture. God creating everything semantically expresses the same thought.With Love and Respect,
WispringMarch 30, 2011 at 11:13 pm#241274WispringParticipantHi Gene,
OK. For a well thought out explanition to be presented, i suggest describing the qualities of the seven spirits; the actions of the seven spirits; the functions of the seven spirits using scripture and God-centered commentary. This I propose would be a sound and reasonable method of going about this.With Love and Respect,
WispringMarch 31, 2011 at 4:42 pm#241352GeneBalthropParticipantWispering………..Lets look at each of GODS SEVEN SPIRITS as Individual Components or ATTRIBUTES of ONE GOD. Like Seven Pillars of ONE HOUSE these Pillars support the structure of the house. Lets try to identify them.
I will try to start by Identifying The SPIRIT (INTELLECT)of WISDOM this attribute of GOD give INCITE or discernment it weighs the balance of things both Good and EVIL and directs the thoughts and action of LORD our God . It is the chiefest of all GODS Intellects or Spirits . It is Personified in scripture as a Women a (She) and is said to be at the first of GODS Creation the principle thing used by God in all his works. So The LORD GOD considers all the in and outs or good and Bad, things using (IT) in his thinking. This is Just One of these Seven DISTINCT SPIRITS (INTELLECT) of GOD. Maybe you or someone else can also describe another also and give some thought on it.

March 31, 2011 at 11:34 pm#241381WispringParticipantHi Gene,
Your initiative is good! I would like to propose a text-based format for this presentation. See if this meets with your approval. OK?
===================================================================
FORMAT
===================================================================This is a listing of the seven spirits of God as described in the book of Revelations. The objective of this exegesis is to show that these seven spirits are the “us” used in the text of book of Genesis.
1.) Wisdom
2.) ?
3.) ?
4.) ?
5.) ?
6.) ?
7.) ?===================================================================
Qualites of the seven spirit's of God
===================================================================In this section I will describe the qualities of the seven Spirits of God as I understand them.(Gene this would be a fairly large section as you will be providing scriptural references for the qualities of the seven spirits of God)
===================================================================
Functions of the seven Spirits of God
===================================================================In this section I will describe the functions as they pertain to doing God's works.(Once again, a large section.Once again providing scriptural references.)
===================================================================
Actions of the seven spirits of God
===================================================================In this section I will show the actions of the 7 spirits of God as they pertain to doing God's works.(In this section some of the explanations would likely overlap some of the explanations given in the 'functions' section due to the fact that defining a function involves describing actions.)
===================================================================
Conclusions
===================================================================Here you would write your conclusions based on the information that was presented. This is in a “book-report” type format and is acceptable in most if not all circles for scholarly work.OK?
===================================================================
Now, Gene, I will attempt to show you the niceties of using a litte 'iB code'. This is your last post.Quote Wispering………..Lets look at each of GODS SEVEN SPIRITS as Individual Components or ATTRIBUTES of ONE GOD. This is your post spruced up with some easy to use iB code.Quote Wispring(The name is 'Wispring'(this is a correctional edit))………..Let's look at each of God's seven spirits as individual components or attributes of one God. Like seven pillars of one house these pillars support the structure of the house. Let's try to identify them. It is the chiefest of all God's intellects or spirits. It is personified in scripture as a women a (she) and is said to be at the first of God's creation; the principle thing used by God in all his works. Now Gene, I may not have comprehended all the emphasis and nuance you wanted expressed in your post. I and most others who read your posts try to. The point is, are you realizing how much easier it would be for us, your readers, to read your posts if you used a little 'iB code'? Please do not become offended. I truly mean no offence.

Hi Gene:This is what Jesus said about Judging:
Quote
John 12:47And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.48He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
Quote John 5:27And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. 28Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
30I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.
