    Hi Jammin,

I will stick to one question at a time,
because asking more than one affords you
the opportunity to dodge my direct questions.
The question of what “divine nature” is, is defined.

    Hi8 Jammin,

As long as you address the content of my questions, it is enough for me.
But what I see from you instead is answers to questions that I have not asked.

You will most certainly repeat this pattern, and I will point it out to you when you do this.
I only started this thread because you don't answer the questions that are asked.

    God bless

    Hi Jammin,

Here is what Phil 2:5-6 really says…

2:5 τουτο γαρ φρονεισθω εν υμιν ο και εν χριστω ιησου
2:6 ος εν μορφη θεου υπαρχων ουχ αρπαγμον ηγησατο το ειναι ισα θεω

(Phil 2:5-6) 2:5 This understanding is in you in Christ Jesus:
2:6 In the form that God exists, think it not robbery to be considered equal.

This is the “divine nature” THAT YOU MIGHT someday hav. (NOTE: see highlighted part)

“According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding
great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2 Peter 1:3-4)

That is of course if you ever put on the “New Man”! (Eph.4:24)

    God bless
    Ed J (Joshua 22:34)

2 pet 1.4 is not about that you will be GOD
    peter did not say that.
that is why im asking you but you are not answering my question you.

    now pls answer mine
    just pick your answer

wht did peter say in 2 pet 1.4

1.do you exist in the form of God
    2. you might be partakers of divine nature.

choose 1 or 2 for your answer

ill repeat my answer to your question about divine nature

    2 pet 1.4
means not the substance of the Godhead, but the partaking of those qualities, by which the image of God is restored in us.

the divine nature-not God's essence, but His holiness, including His “glory” and “virtue,” 2Pe 1:3; the opposite to “corruption through lust.”

    2PET 1.4 MSG
The best invitation we ever received! We were also given absolutely terrific promises to pass on to you—your tickets to participation in the life of God after you turned your back on a world corrupted by lust.

    Hi Jammin,
So we do not share the Spirit with God and Jesus.
How do we become like them?

jammin, do you believe that Jesus IS the very God he is the Son OF?  Yes or No?

i believe mike that jesus is the son of GOD. yes it is correct BUT you have to complete what the bible says.

the bible says that Christ is the son of GOD, and he is also GOD by nature.

I assume that you agree with scripture that there exists only ONE Omniscient Creator of All Things, right?  And that One is called “God Most High”, right?

Do you think Jesus IS that One…………….or the Son OF that One?  It has to be one of the two, not both.

Jesus can either BE God Almighty, or he can be the Son OF God Almighty, who also shares a divine, spirit nature WITH his Father, God Almighty.

Which choice do the scriptures bear out:
    1.  God Most High?
    2.  Son OF God Most High?

    Question #2:
are you suggesting that Mary is(?) the mother of God?
answer: your question is not specific, bec in the bible the son is GOD by nature. the father is also GOD by nature. who is the GOD you are referring to? the father or the son?

OK back to the REAL questions; not the rhetorical FAKE ones you try to pass of as legit.

Since you call Jesus: “GOD” (NOTE: the creator of the universe.)…
…are you suggesting that Mary is(?) the mother of God?

your question is not specific   …FALSE it is very specific!   …Now will you please answer this question?

(2.A.) who is the GOD you are referring to?     …How many God's are there?     …I know of only one.

    Hi Jammin, Question #2:

You answered a different question, one that I didn't ask?
I didn't ask…   'do you believed the son is GOD by nature.'

    What I instead asked is:
are you suggesting that Mary is(?) the mother of God?

Now will you please answer the question that I asked?

Now stop repeating the same post, Nick has already warned you once.

Do not persist in this 'diversionary tactic'  to avoid answering real questions.
We're now working on question #2, divine nature has already been answered!

you dont understand what you are saying

you and your father have the same nature ,MAN

the nature of man is not eternal. man is created
the nature of man is not all powerful. man is limited
the nature of man is not all knowing. man is limited

    Hi Jammin,

Mike doesn't understand what he is saying?          …you have got to be kidding, right?
Instead, it is you who doesn't understand logic fallacies.

Three big logic fallacies that I see presented here:

    1. Opinions: opinions are presented as evidence.
    2. Scenarios: scenarios are presented as proof.
    3. Consensus: consensus is seen as conformation.         (Link to thread)
