An incredibly inaccurate statement Dig. What you say is false. I have challenged nearly every main argument you guys have made and thoroughly debunked many of them.
Perhaps it is you who is not curios because you seem to ignore all evidence against your theory. Whereas I have looked at both sides and found your side of the argument wanting.
If I wasn’t curious then I would not be debunking your points.
February 11, 2020 at 8:59 am#850129ProclaimerParticipantDig, let’s see how curios you are since you have set a standard for yourself
Are you curios about the section of sky in the southern hemisphere where we never get to see its constellations?
Why don’t flat earthers travel to Australia and penetrate the sky with some fancy technology during daylight to see if the same constellations are present. If so, then that means the earth is not flat right?
Or why don’t flat earthers come to this part of the world when there is a total eclipse over NZ, Australia, South America, or South Africa. Because you will see that the same stars are present compared with the longitude at the same latitude experiencing night at the same time. A total solar eclipse in the Southern Hemisphere disproves the Flat Earth alone. Are you not curious about that?
February 11, 2020 at 1:44 pm#850137Dig4truthParticipantWhy don’t you start debating as an adult and stop putting nonsensical scenarios into the mix? Isn’t it about time to spout off about lizard people? You’re slipping.

I have noticed that many of Mike’s videos have been taken down. I assume these are the one’s that someone bothered to debunk.
Thankfully, someone has been keeping track of some of these debunked videos.

“As it happens what you have presented are time-lapse videos full of holes, full of breaks, with rotations, you’ve stopped the camera multiple times, you’ve zoomed in and out, you’ve obviously adjusted the camera, and I think it’s fair to say that we were right all along and our conclusion that the camera had been bumped, you’ve admitted yourself that the camera went off at times and you have adjusted the camera and even the rotation shown in Rich’s images on the left do not agree with rotation shown on your images on the right.Isn’t it funny how at the exact moment the Moon suddenly rotates, it also zooms out! What an Amazing coincidence.”

Dig, Mike did post or link to a video of a guy who blinked like a lizard. While he didn’t say he was a lizard, the subject of the video was about that if I remember rightly. Well that’s how I remember it at least. I looked for the post, but couldn’t find it as this discussion is huge.
February 11, 2020 at 3:23 pm#850140ProclaimerParticipantAddress this total debunk please
Okay Dig.
Back to that stretch of sky (from the same latitude in the Southern Hemisphere) that no one gets to see because the section we see at night arrives at different times to different continents according to Mike.
Whereas, I believe it is the same sky the whole time but rotating around. During the day, the stars simply disappear because the sun blocks starlight out.
My scientific observation from NZ is that the stars become visible from brightest first and then become invisible by less brightest first.
And please explain why I do not see half the sky blank before the whole sky is filled with stars?
And why during an eclipse in the southern hemisphere do we see the same stars during the day?
If you cannot explain it, then your theory needs to be put on hold till you can explain it because this totally debunks the flat earth.
February 11, 2020 at 3:49 pm#850145mikeboll64Blockedt8: …people who spread lies are liars, deceived, or mistaken.
Before I continue correcting your many other misunderstandings and erroneous statements, let me correct you on something so simple that I thought every elementary school student knew it.
A “lie” is a DELIBERATE intent to deceive. Being “deceived” or “mistaken” are, by definition, NOT deliberate actions.
Now that you have learned this elementary stuff, have you a valid reason to use the word “lie” (in any of it’s forms) in reference to me, or anything I’ve posted on this site in the 10+ years I’ve been here?

Okay, show me where I said otherwise. You can’t. Even on this point your are lying, deceived, or mistaken. Now think about that and think about the possibility that you are lying, deceived, or mistaken with other things.
Remember, one day you will have to give an account before the Almighty.
February 11, 2020 at 6:57 pm#850149ProclaimerParticipantNow that you have learned this elementary stuff, have you a valid reason to use the word “lie” (in any of it’s forms) in reference to me, or anything I’ve posted on this site in the 10+ years I’ve been here?
If a person continuously teaches lies, then yes, they may be considered a liar. That is between God and the teacher of course.
A good person can be mistaken. Usually a wayward person is deceived, and a person who deliberately deceives is a liar. Of course it is possible that a compulsive liar who has seared his conscience may not even realise what he is doing. He may have deceived even himself. Again that is between God and the person.
People can also stray into lies when they fudge results of experiments in order to make their argument appear true. If you have done this, then repentance is in order. I’m thinking right now about that flat horizon you clipped from a video that had the horizon flopping all over the place and the many statements that you say I am saying when I have not said it or implied it. See the example above. Also, Dazza says in one of his videos that you deleted original files. That too if done intentionally to hide evidence is conscious deception which I think you say would be a lie given your definition of being aware of what you are doing. Again of course it is between you and God. I simply judge the teachings that are posted in these forums.
February 11, 2020 at 8:43 pm#850150ProclaimerParticipantNow about the stars in the southern hemisphere. How come if the sky is different for each of those hypothetical guys, that in reality, we do not see all the stars appear from one side and disappear on the other?
Why is it we see all the stars at once, but in order of brightness.
February 11, 2020 at 9:12 pm#850153ProclaimerParticipantI would love an answer for this. Anyone?
During a total solar eclipse in the southern hemisphere, why do we see the same stars as those experiencing night at the same latitude?
February 12, 2020 at 3:47 am#850156Dig4truthParticipantT8: Back to that stretch of sky (from the same latitude in the Southern Hemisphere) that no one gets to see because the section we see at night arrives at different times to different continents according to Mike.
“According to Mike?” Are you suggesting that all continents DO see the stars at the same time in the Southern Hemisphere? Or are you just flat out lying about it?
T8: Whereas, I believe it is the same sky the whole time but rotating around. During the day, the stars simply disappear because the sun blocks starlight out. My scientific observation from NZ is that the stars become visible from brightest first and then become invisible by less brightest first. And please explain why I do not see half the sky blank before the whole sky is filled with stars?
Why do you keep asking idiotic questions?
T8: And why during an eclipse in the southern hemisphere do we see the same stars during the day? If you cannot explain it, then your theory needs to be put on hold till you can explain it because this totally debunks the flat earth.
Have you not been listening to us at all? You see the same sky because that is your vantage point. It would be like asking why do I see the same tree when I look in the yard, but I can’t see it at night, how come you can’t see it a continent or two away?
You really need to come up with some better questions.
February 12, 2020 at 4:53 am#850158mikeboll64BlockedThat’s what I’ve been wondering too, D. Obviously they can’t see the same sky at the same time, which I understood as his original point. And if he’s talking about different times, I answered that it’s the sky moving, not earth.
But somehow I’m a liar for that. I guess you must be a liar too.
Einstein said that whether it’s the sky or the earth moving can’t be determined from the earth. I guess Einstein and all the expert cosmologists of his time (and before… AND since) didn’t know about t8’s fantastic argument. Or… maybe they all did know, but they were also liars.
I guess in Tater’s mind, calling someone a liar fixes everything for you.
February 12, 2020 at 6:23 am#850159Dig4truthParticipantClaim they’re lying and then claim victory. It’s like the old question,”Have you stopped beating your wife”? And then demanding a yes or no answer. I’m pretty sure most can see through this type of deception.
February 12, 2020 at 6:59 am#850160mikeboll64BlockedAgreed. But I won’t stand for being called (or even hinted) a liar. So I plan to spend just a little more time seeing if I can get Tater to understand that a lie requires deliberate intent to deceive, and therefore cannot be lumped in with being deceived or being mistaken or being wrong. Of course his pride won’t currently let him admit this elementary fact, and so he feels the need to KEEP including the word “lie” in his responses – kind of like a guilty child will keep saying “No I didn’t” even when caught red handed.
And I refuse to carry on with someone of such low moral character that he can’t bring himself to say, “You’re right. I should have used ‘mistaken’ or ‘inaccurate’ or ‘wrong’ and left the word ‘lie’ completely out of it.”
So I’ll give him another chance to acknowledge his error, and if he doesn’t, I’ll just ignore him until he does.
Cheers
February 12, 2020 at 12:50 pm#850168ProclaimerParticipantI don’t call anyone a liar. I simply point out lies and question the integrity of the person spreading them. It is up to God to judge the person.
Everyone makes mistakes, but a person who consistently gets things wrong is either a liar, deceived, or is mistaken. Although the last option becomes less likely when lies significantly increase.
I think you are reacting way too much to my words here unless you have something to worry about.
Read what I said carefully next time before responding. If the words pierce your heart and it makes you go crazy, then maybe you need to do something about it. If you believe my words which are general statements do not apply to you, then why react like that?
February 12, 2020 at 1:00 pm#850175ProclaimerParticipantClaim they’re lying and then claim victory. It’s like the old question,”Have you stopped beating your wife”? And then demanding a yes or no answer. I’m pretty sure most can see through this type of deception.
Have you stopped teaching the false flat earth doctrine, yes or no.
It’s called a loaded question. When a member requires a yes no answer, the question should not be loaded. This has been stipulated many times in these forums over the years. I think it is also part of the forum rules too.
I doubt you’ll find me asking a loaded question since this rule was implemented by me because I frown upon them. I’m not perfect of course, but I don’t remember asking you or anybody a loaded question.

Yes it is called perspective. I’ve mentioned this in a number of posts now.
February 12, 2020 at 1:18 pm#850167ProclaimerParticipantTo comprehend or not comprehend
Okay, you guys have missed the point completely. It is not a difficult point to grasp, but I do realise that not all here got an A in science when they went to school.
According to the flat earth, the southern hemisphere sky is huge. But according to observation, three people on the same latitude see the same stars at night, but a different rotation of it. This means that on a flat earth, one person is seeing for example the Southern Cross for the whole night meaning on the opposite side of the world, a person during the day is looking at a different sky entirely.
The point is about the sky during the day. Does it too have constellations despite the sun drowning them out?
And why during a total eclipse do the same night stars appear to the guy experiencing night on the other side of the world?
Get it now?
February 12, 2020 at 1:23 pm#850169ProclaimerParticipantRotation question
Why is it that three people on the same latitude see a different rotation of the stars in the southern sky if the Earth is flat?
Surely when the glass dome rotates the southern hemisphere constellations toward each person on the disk, there should be no rotational variance as commonly observed in reality.
