Do you disagree with the Spirit in Peter and deny that Jesus was an anointed man, making him a god?

Nick….The fact is it is you who are throwing away all the many scriptures written about death, soul, resurection back to life, in a physical body and ect, written in both the old and new testement. Forming your opinions based on scriptures in Luk 16:20-27.
That parable is to illustrate that there is a future devide between people who suffered in this life and those who haven’t, it is a story about having compassion on the less fortunate, and the unwillingness of the rich to have that passion and not listening to the warning words of God spoken to them, and even with the witness of one resurected from the grave, the rich still would not listen, because their riches has created a devide in them, from the poor. So they themselves will have to suffer in order to learn the torments of the poor. That they might gain compassion for others in their torment, as the rich man was begining to see, by asking for a warning to be sent to his still living brothers, to try to prevent the torment he was suffering to happen to them.
But you change and diseguard all the other scriptures written to meet your false asumptions of that one parable. Truth is not just written in one set of scriptures but in all of them, we don’t have to throw any scriptures out to meet what we are saying, while you are disallowing many. Truth is in the ‘SUM” of scriptures,
You will not even admit what scripture say a “living soul” is. Even though it is soclear a child could understand it. The complete you is a living soul, not just part of you as you preach.

The word hades used in that proverb, is translated hell or the grave, any corect translation will tell you that. Scriptures posted here many times tell us there is no activity in the grave when we die, but you can’t honestly deal with that so you scratch around and find a “parable” to justify your nonsense.

Sometimes Sheol is confused with the grave by some but there are differences.
The bodies of men go to graves but not souls. There are many graves but only one Sheol.
Sheol is deep in the earth but graves just on the surface.

By the way trying to us JONAH AS as proof that people are still alive after they die is not what Jesus meant at all. He was using Jonah’s three day under the water as a example of his time he would be in the grave. Had nothing to do with still being alive when he was dead.
Jesus said he “was”dead and now alive forevermore. I go with that and believe he truly was dead, and where i come from dead does no mean still alive.
And the soul is the “complete” BODY, WHEN IT dies it begins to corrupt, that SOUL is then no longer living, until when the body of a “man” is regenerated and the breath of God is put back into it, it then becomes a LIVING SOUL AGAIN, If you truly believe what is written in Genesis 2:7 .
No scripture say a SOUL IS SEPERATE FROM THE BODY. In fact speaking of Jesus, scripture says ‘thou will not allow my “soul” to see coruption, which proves the soul can corrupt in the grave. Now what part of a man corrupts in the grave?, is it not the BODY. SO put it together, the body is the soul, because it can be corrupted in the grave. THERE IS ONLY A DEAD SOUL (BODY) without the breath of life in it, or a living SOUL a Body with the breath of life in it, just that simple, nothing complicated or “mysterious” about it.
A person is either “Dead” or “Alive” no in betweens, just one or the other, and scripture tells us the dead know nothing their thoughts “parish” when they die, there is no activity going on when a person dies. The spirit goes back to him that gave it, the body goes back the the dust from whence it came. It’s completely over, till the resurection takes place. IMO

In eternal torment forever and ever what really is that about, different degrees of torment in hell fire? This is a 1000 years after the just are resurrected for rewards. You are welcome, Anthony, spend some time on this passage, I think it is a very important verse that tells us that no man is or will be qualified to be the unblemished lamb and so Jehovah had to send His own Arm (His Son).
Isaiah 59:16
And He (Jehovah) saw that there was no man, And was astonished that there was no one to intercede; Then His own arm brought salvation to Him, And His righteousness upheld Him.
Jehovah’s OWN ARM brought salvation to Him. Jehovah’s own arm is not a mere man. Jehovah’s OWN ARM (His Son) had to become a man to bring salvation because there WAS NO MAN capable of the task. Even “just the man” Jesus Christ?

Nick…you false assumption that Jesus never saw Death, is a lie, Jesus did truly die was completely dead, his SOUL died on that cross or stake, when the breath of “life” left him. He was truly dead and had no life until he was resurected by GOD THE FATHER.
Your false teachings about him still being alive after he died is pure rubbish, and degrades not only the death of Jesus, but the value or price of his sacrifice for us.
Jesus told us “plainly” he truly was dead, and “NOW” after his resurection from the “DEAD” is alive for evermore. Which is the hope of ALL TRUE BELIEVERS, “for we hope to attain unto the resurection of the dead, that will “WITTNES” THE “REDEMPTION” OF OUR “BODIES”. Your teachings denying the death of the SOUL (BODY) IS A LIE.
