Instead I am speaking about how those that live by Spirit are his servants (citizens).
After more examination the kingdom contains both good and bad citizens and since all those that strive to live by the Spirit are good citizens. It is the Word that is the kingdom and those that are born through it that are the citizens.

What net is cast into the sea, that is this world, but the Word of God?

T;It is about correctly interpreting parables and the Word of God is called the gospel of the kingdom.
Quote Matthew 4:23
King James Version (KJV)23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
The kingdom of God is catching both good and bad men at this time and has been since the time of John; for it is written:
Quote Luke 16:16
King James Version (KJV)16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.

IS THIS VERSE SUPPORTS WHAT YOU EXPRESSED ?? no,
WHAT IT SAYS IS THAT IT IS PREACHED TO ALL MEN AND ALL ARE INVITED BUT NOT ALL WILL ACCEPTED

What was it that showed the kingdom in power on the mountain?
Hi Nick:I asked the question, if that is what he was talking about? I really don't know at that this point, do you?
He is either referring to the “first death”, or physical death or the “second death” where those who are not saved will be cast into the lake of fire.
It does not seem to make sense that some standing there would not die physically until they see him coming in the clouds with power and great glory. It has been 2000 years and he has not yet come. I don't know any 2000 year old men still living, do you?
And so, I really don't know to what he is referring at this point. I am praying for understanding.

Marty
Marty;Have you considered that he might be speaking of Pentecost; when he comes to reign with power through the Spirit?
Hi Kerwin:Looking at the scriptures in context, I believe that Jesus was speaking of his resurrection from the dead, but it may encompass pentecost as well.
Quote Mat 16:21 ¶ From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. Mat 16:22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.
Mat 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Mat 16:24 ¶ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
Mat 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
Mat 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Mat 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
Mat 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

So what's your final answer, Kerwin? That many witnessed Jesus coming in his Kingdom at Pentecost, because his Kingdom is “the Spirit”?Or that John alone saw Jesus coming in his Kingdom IN A VISION, and that's what Jesus meant in Matthew 16:28?
Mike; Both may well be true as God is well able to mean multiple things with one statement; but they all will be true.
Matthew 24
26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.The entire inhabited earth will know when Jesus comes in his Kingdom, because they will see him coming on the clouds with angels and great glory. Did that happen at Pentecost?
1 Thessalonians 2:19
For what is our hope, our joy, or the crown in which we will glory in the presence of our Lord Jesus when he comes?1 Thessalonians 3:13
May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.1 Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. These letters were all written after Pentecost. Paul also warned us against believing those who said that the second coming of Christ had already occured. So Pentecost was obviously not the second coming of Jesus.
And Jesus said “SOME of you standing here will not taste death”…………..he did not say “ONE of you”. So that rules out John's revelation as being the only instance where one of them saw Jesus' second coming in a vision.
To me, the ones who did not taste death (as Enoch and Elijah did not taste death) are those who were raised right from a life on earth to a life in heaven, ie: those under the altar in Revelation.

So it is called FLESH somewhere after the resurrection?
Will you not have a new heavenly body? You will need one because flesh rots and you would rise naked.
