    Hi Kerwin,

    Revelation 12:10
    Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ.

    According to Revelation 1:1, the vision was of things that “must soon take place”.  And John had this revelation long after Pentecost, so I can't see how Jesus came in his kingdom then.

    Mike;

    Jesus came with power in his Kingdom; the Spirit; on Pentecost. His Kingdom; though planted; has not yet grown to the point where the birds of the air perch on its branches. When it does his people will meet him in the air as he descends in New Jerusalem.

    That Scripture bears witness that John saw the Second Coming before he tasted death.

    So what's your final answer, Kerwin?  That many witnessed Jesus coming in his Kingdom at Pentecost, because his Kingdom is “the Spirit”?

    Or that John alone saw Jesus coming in his Kingdom IN A VISION, and that's what Jesus meant in Matthew 16:28?

    Hi kerwin

    Your quote: –Jesus– came in his kingdom on pantecost.

    This contradicts jesus speaking to the apostles in John16:7.
    Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away, for if I go not away,the COMFORTER will not come unto you; but if I depart,I WILL SEND -HIM- UNTO YOU.

    –I– WILL SEND –HIM– UNTO YOU–??

    VERSE14. He shall glorify me:—–

    wakeup.

    Please clarify.

    Hi Wakeup, what do you suppose John 14:23 is about?

    John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words:
    and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

    Ed J and Wake up;

    I agree with you Ed; but as a Math teacher would say, “you did not show your work”.

    The scripture that links the Holy Counselor to God and Jesus dwelling in believers is:

    Ephesians 2:22
    King James Version (KJV)

    22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

    Mike;

    It is written:

    1 Corinthians 7:22
    King James Version (KJV)

    22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.

    Is a good citizen a servant of his country; and the ruler thereof?  I am convinced they are.

    At this time, even a bad servant that is a citizen of the Word, which is the kingdom; as it is written:

    Matthew 13:47
    King James Version (KJV)

    47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind:

    I am not currently addressing whether or not Jehovah and his Son are Spirit beings.

    Instead I am speaking about how those that live by Spirit are his servants (citizens).

    After more examination the kingdom contains both good and bad citizens and since all those that strive to live by the Spirit are good citizens. It is the Word that is the kingdom and those that are born through it that are the citizens.
