God is divided from His Spirit?Two different used of the word Spirit and each use has a different definition from the other.

I mentioned it in another thread so I will try to remember to bring it up in that thread.
To answer your question Paul said if his earthly body is destroyed then he has a body in heaven that is not made by human hands.
Nick………Angels have bodies, in fact Jacob fought with one and all night and would not let Go until he was smote in the side and still hung on to recieve a blessing. , as a result his named was changed to ISRAEL , or overcomer .because he prevail with the angel of the Lord. So I hardly think his body was weak or puny as you believe human bodies are. Sin caused our bodies to become weakened, but it was not that way in the begnning. In fact as I have said here before man could have lived forever with the body he has if it weren’t for sin, as scripture says, he would not need any renewal at all had sin not entered into the world.
You sell our God given bodies short or haven’t you read “a body have I prepared for you” and a spirit is not abody,but is what indwells bodies, and all bodies consist of physical MATTER. If my body can be restored to what God had in mind at the creation I am fine with that. If you believe you are going to be some spirit floating around in “ARID” places seeking a place to rest, then that is fine, I for one do not want that nor do I believe that was God the Father’s intention for me or, any of his physical creation. If you believe there is no physical resurection Nick, you are in error, IMO
Scripture also says the WHOLE CREATION will be DELIEVERD from its BOND of its CORRUPTION.

Yes of course the spirit of man returns to God-as happened with Jesus on Calvary.
Unless a man has been born of the Spirit he cannot be raised in the first resurrection by the Spirit of God
Nick…….And what makes you think angels don’t eat, haven’t you heard of manna, angels food? And yes angels do have bodies all the time what makes you think they do not?
