Quote (Wakeup @ Feb. 21 2012,18:47) Quote (Lightenup @ Feb. 21 2012,16:00) So Nick,
Do you think that we give back our life and it is no longer ours after we die?
Lightenup.Rev.11:11.And after three days and a half THE SPIRIT IF LIFE FROM GOD ENTERED IN TO THEM,and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
THE SPIRIT OF LIFE ENTERED INTO THEM.tHIS IS THE SPIRIT OF LIFE FROM GOD,WHICH WE ALL HAVE IN US.
AS ONE DIES,THAT SPIRIT GOES BACK TO GOD.What is the soul? The body and and the spirit of life = a living soul.It is the soul that will be judged; the persons works while alive; his works. Is it good or bad. It is the soul that can die.
The spirit of life can never die,it simply goes back to God.wakeup.
Hi Wakeup,
It is not by works that we are saved.Kathi

But it is Jesus' goodness/righteousness that saves us and that was what the young man was asking about…what can he do to obtain eternal life. Jesus tells him that there is one good and to follow him if he wishes to be complete. So, I think that the NASB translation seems to be more fitting to the situation. Jesus is good after all.Kathi
Hi Kathi:Jesus said that he only did what the Father showed him to do. It was because of the goodness of the Father that he was sent to humanity.
Love in Christ,
Marty
Marty,
It was the goodness of the Son to be willing to go. The Son is our righteousness.1 Cor 1:30But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, 31so that, just as it is written, “LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD.”
Hi Kathi:Yes, all that is true, but goodness did not originate with him. It was God who gave His Only Begotten Son to us, and it was God that Jesus was obeying.

MartyFebruary 22, 2012 at 3:58 pm#280032GeneBalthropParticipantKathi………> God, the one and (ONLY TRUE GOD) brought Jesus into existence at his berth on this earth he is 100% SON OF MAN exactly as we are he never preexisted his berth on this earth , he was in the Plan and will of GOd from the very beginning of God's creation he planed to perfect man Kind and the First one perfected was the Man Jesus who was perfected through the Spirit of GOD which he recieved at the Jordan River , He was like Cyrus, Jeremiah, John the Baptist , all Human Beings who came into their existence EXACTLY as we did. God was not working with other preexisting life form such as Morphed Angels or Morphed GOD'S or morphed demigods , he was working witj Man kind through a Man and that man was Jesus, You are putting Jesus to a GOD status and that is called IDOLATRY , You are changing the (IMAGE) of the MAN Jesus to a GOD. Read 2 Ths 2, the man of Sin is this false “IMAGE” of JESUS sitting in the temple of GOD, being worshiped as a GOD. This (IMAGE) is of Jesus and is a LIE Just as it says it is . IMO

Hi allBut t8 is not telling the whole story because he has another “god” which he has said with his own words…
Quote (t8 @ June 14 2011,17:49) Actually I believe that Jesus is theos/god. However, unfortunately the link to this has been broken. HMMM I wonder why?
So I will ask t8…
t8 did you not say…”Actually I believe that Jesus is theos/god.”?
Lets see if he will be honest.
But then t8 goes on to say…
Quote (t8 @ Jan. 22 2011,05:04) Satan is a God. He is the God of this age.
AndQuote (t8 @ Jan. 22 2011,05:04) Satan is still a God, the God of this age. Can anyone see through this?
How is it that t8 can call satan a “God” with a capital “G” and yet not call Jesus who has “all authority and power in heaven and IN EARTH“ his “God”? Matt 28:18
How is it that satan is a “God” to t8 and Jesus is not a “God”?
Truth be known with his own lips he has said that he has more than “One God\theos”.
t8, is Jesus your theos\god or not?
Blessings

Nick,
The Son expresses the unity of Him and the Father everywhere, you take it as inability but it is meant to convey unity.Your flesh profits nothing but His flesh was given and shed for us and we are to remember that often with communion.

Hi Marty,
Isaiah 54:The Fertility of Zion1“Shout for joy, O barren one, you who have borne no child;
Break forth into joyful shouting and cry aloud, you who have not travailed;
For the sons of the desolate one will be more numerous
Than the sons of the married woman,” says the LORD.2“Enlarge the place of your tent;
Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, spare not;
Lengthen your cords
And strengthen your pegs.3“For you will spread abroad to the right and to the left.
And your descendants will possess nations
And will resettle the desolate cities.4“Fear not, for you will not be put to shame;
And do not feel humiliated, for you will not be disgraced;
But you will forget the shame of your youth,
And the reproach of your widowhood you will remember no more.5“For your husband is your Maker,
Whose name is the LORD of hosts;
And your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel,
Who is called the God of all the earth.This passage speaks about the church…the husband of the church' name is the LORD (YHVH) of hosts; and her redeemer who is the Holy One of Israel and who is called the God of all the earth.
See that the above passage is talking about Jerusalem, the Church here:
Gal 4:26But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother. 27For it is written:
“Be glad, O barren woman,
who bears no children;
break forth and cry aloud,
you who have no labor pains;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband.”
The husband of the church is YHVH and YHVH is Jesus. This passage is not talking about YHVH the Father. You have admitted that Jesus is the husband of the church, not the Father.
God bless,

then your God is mortal,he can be killed by men.
Why would we worship a mortal God like the pagans do,for their God is mortal.Those that believe that The God they worship died,dont realise,and dont know their God.
Do you know that everything is framed by the word of God?
The univers and all,Do you realise what will happen if God died? It will be keos in the universe and here on earth.
NO,GOD did not die,but his son died, the image of the father.
The son of man, the son of david,the son of God,the morning star.The doctrine of trinity has caused a lot of damage,many souls has been lost never finding the truth.Pray that Jesus will open the prison doors and set you free.No heart feelings please,its all for good.

God did not die for God cannot die, God is eternal.
Jesus Christ, the son of God, a human being, a perfect human being died.

For starters:
John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.John 5:23 He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.
There are so many…
The Father created THROUGH the Son
The Father saves THROUGH the Son
The Father judges THROUGH the Son
The Father's radiance of His Glory is by the Son
The Father is the Father of His only begotten because of the Son being His SonFebruary 23, 2012 at 4:12 am#280136NickHassanParticipantHi LU,
