Truth is not truth because the majority think so. Truth is proved by scripture The “eternal gospel for all” is not scriptural.

Revelation 14:6
And I saw another angel flying in midheaven, having an eternal gospel to preach to those who live on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and tongue and people;Same wonderful eternal gospel.

Hi Nick.
For a moment I thought you had proved me wrong. But after some further study, I found that this translation is incorrect. As happens in many translations, the word greek
“eon” is incorrectly translated eternal. The correct translation is as follows:
6 And I perceived another messenger flying in mid-heaven, having an eonian evangel to bring to those situated on the earth, and to every nation and tribe and language and people,
I am assuming this will be the Gospel of Grace, preached by paul who was commissiond by Christ, as this superceeds Jesus message to the Jews.Blessings.
July 16, 2008 at 3:36 am#97742GeneBalthropParticipantChosenone …..You are right the word eon means age and does not mean eternal, there is no Greek word for eternal but there is a place where it say life everlasting and that is equal to our word eternal. But where ever there appears the word eon it just means (AGE)

It matters not whether the word is aeon or eternal.
There is one gospel and selling another here seems futile.July 16, 2008 at 4:34 am#97753chosenoneParticipantScripture says two gospels, eternal gospel for all is not scriptural. This will be my last post on this subject.
Blessings.
July 16, 2008 at 4:36 am#97755NickHassanParticipantHi ,
I have not seen the scripture that says there are two gospels.
Can you remind me?July 24, 2008 at 2:42 am#98798NickHassanParticipantHi,
Context
In the same chapter as this verse appears2Tim2
15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth
it says this
1Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
2And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
This is for TEACHING TO those faithful men in Christ Jesus.
July 25, 2008 at 7:21 pm#98991chosenoneParticipantQuote (chosenone @ July 16 2008,11:44) The Gospel of the Kingdom, preached by Jesus. The gospel of Grace, preached by Paul.
The Eternal Gospel for all, preached by man, no scripture, is the apostacy.
Reminder.July 25, 2008 at 7:43 pm#98993NickHassanParticipantHi CO,
Is this your own gospel or is it someone elses?
Either way this flood of new gospels from you is not welcome here.
We already have the gospel of God as expressed in the mouth of God's servants.July 25, 2008 at 8:30 pm#98999chosenoneParticipantNick.
Some ficticious “eternal gospel for all”? I would love to know the scripture that says so.Blessings.
July 25, 2008 at 9:25 pm#99013NickHassanParticipantHi CO,
You should learn of the gospel of God.
It is the message that God has sent to rescue us.
Are there other gospels? We should not hear them[Gal1]July 26, 2008 at 12:52 am#99026chosenoneParticipantNick.
I agree, “All is of God” Ro.11:36. I've never said it isn't Gods gospel if you read my posts properly. It's just that He (God) sent His Son to preach the to the “lost sheep of the house of Israel” (Matt.15:24), and commissioned Paul to the “nations' (Ro.15:16). They are not the same. There is no scriptural reference to any “eternal gospel for all”, this is false teaching.Blessings.
July 26, 2008 at 1:27 am#99033NickHassanParticipantHo CO,
So there is one gospel of God but many commissioned servants to preach it?
The good news is the same no matter in whose mouth is found the rescue plan of God.July 26, 2008 at 1:59 am#99048chosenoneParticipantNick.
“All is of God” (Ro.11-36). I don't know how many times I've quoted this scripture, and you keep repeating the same worn out phrases.Blessings.

Isaiah 45:6-7. I am Yahweh, and there is non else, Former of light, and creator of darkness, Maker of peace, and creator of evil: I the Yahweh am the maker of all these. You need to brush up on your scriptures.
