Here is a blog that attempts to explain the difference of three aspects of natural humans.
Three Minds: Consciousness, Subconscious, and Unconscious
The unconscious mind, consisting of the primitive, instinctual wishes as well as the information that we cannot access. Although our behaviors might indicate the unconscious forces that drive them, we don’t have easy access to the information stored in the unconscious mind. During our childhood, we acquired countless memories and experiences that formed who we are today. However, we cannot recall most of those memories. They are unconscious forces (beliefs, patterns, subjective maps of reality) that drive our behaviors.
In Romans 7 Paul speaks of the struggles between his conscious mind and his unconscious mind while he was under the written Law and how Jesus saved him from the struggles by giving him the Spirit.

Scripture is truth.
It should not be made to fit with the foolish fantasies of carnal men.
August 5, 2015 at 9:19 am#801733kerwinParticipantNick,
Words change over time and so that different words at time encapsulate the same idea.
Paul spoke of the part of that was intellectually aware of the written laws and its struggle with “primitive, instinctual wishes” of the flesh.
Paul’s words reveal the idea existed before Freud was credited with it. He may have even formed his ideas from Scripture even though he is said to have been an Atheist.

The world does not understand that man is a vessel that can contain spirits that can manifest in many ways.
The natural mind is especially prone to being manipulated by them.
But we must be transformed by the renewal of our minds by feeding on the Word

You think Freud was inspired??
The world is your home.
August 6, 2015 at 12:07 pm#801809kerwinParticipantNick,
This forum is evidence for the bible. Consider my post in light of that.
August 6, 2015 at 6:39 pm#801835NickHassanParticipantHi kW,
Do you think we should judge the bible by foolish carnal measures?
Either God speaks to you through it or you are yet lost.
August 7, 2015 at 5:06 am#801860kerwinParticipantNick,
I know you should test your heart and consider your words before you put them down or speak them.
August 7, 2015 at 6:43 am#801861NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
1Jn 4.5
“They are from the world; they speak as from the world and the world listens to them”
August 7, 2015 at 6:47 am#801862kerwinParticipantNick,
And yet they testify the word of God is true and he is seen in nature.
August 7, 2015 at 7:06 am#801865NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Freud did?
August 7, 2015 at 8:11 am#801867kerwinParticipantNick,
Anytime a man agrees with the ideas that are in Scripture then they are testifying God’s words are true. When they find those words in nature then they testify he is seen in nature.
August 7, 2015 at 8:29 am#801868NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
So how does this little gem relate?
August 7, 2015 at 8:39 am#801869NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
The false worldly teachings of carnal men do not reflect the truth.
It is not our job to glorify their follies born of disbelief
August 7, 2015 at 9:29 am#801870NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
We do not need the musings of the godless to support belief in God or the bible do we?
August 7, 2015 at 2:30 pm#801877kerwinParticipantNick,
Do not make up words for me to speak but address what I actually said.
August 7, 2015 at 2:44 pm#801878NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Why should we dabble in the world’s nonsense?
August 7, 2015 at 2:48 pm#801880kerwinParticipantNick,
Your words are nonsense.
Are you even reading what I write before you respond?
August 7, 2015 at 2:51 pm#801881NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Absolutely.
But what is your point?
August 7, 2015 at 3:12 pm#801882NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
God did not create a double minded man.
