You are correct that it was a satan that came in the form of an angel of light in order to deceive Mohammed and through him others. The same thing occurred with the prophet that founded the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints.
The reason I know that is that neither of those teachings teach that the power of God will overcome all of a human’s sins if that person obey all of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Islam does not understand the purpose of the self sacrifice of Jesus the Anointed but neither do many Christian teachings. The understanding of the truth was obscured by the false teachings of the Catholic Church and her children, even in Mohammed’s day.

However, if you tell me The Holy Spirit told you that, I will believe The Holy Spirit told you that, that’s between you and God.

Did someone in Islam or the angel transform themself into an apostle of Christ? Muhammad did not call himself apostle of Christ nor did Gabriel the Angel sent to Muhammad.
So is it another or not? you said the Holy Spirit said it was Satan that told Muhammad this:

Since I can talk to you reasonably, wouldn’t you just be speculating about what you are saying as couldn’t the same thing be said about Paul who never met Jesus and literally said he saw:

4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

Now, according to your logic he could have been deceived especially taking in account that he would not follow or learn from the other disciples and he calls it “his” gospel

The Quran clarifies and annuls the Catholic teachings that are incorrect and only preaches that it is the direct GUIDANCE of GOD that will overcome all of a human’s sins just as Christ Jesus did BY SUBMITTING to GOD. Submission to God is the ONLY way to follow Christ into salvation…lip service alone is not enough…saying “lord, lord” is not enough. Jesus said:

So this is all prophecy playing out anyway, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t try.
