Me: Yes I have quoted the Jewish arguments that Isaiah 53 is the continuation from 52:13 on Israel being the ‘Servant of Yahveh’ and his rewards are specified more fully in Chapters 52 & 54.

I always wonder where from this author of third Gospel got this highlighted portion ? I don’t find it is supported by Hebrew scriptures. So you think Satan had taken over the dominion and judgement so that he could tempt Jesus?

Me: This is the verse most debated by the trinitarians as well as non-trinitarians for which there is no support in the Hebrew Bible. This is purely the interpretation of Paul and other NT writers that Jesus(Christ) was preexisting as divine being and emptied himself and taken human birth. If he was made in human likeness and being called 100% man, what type of human was he? Can a god or godly being or a spirit being empty himself and born as human baby in a mother’s womb? I think that would be another great mythology which we Indians don’t lack here.

The Use of Psalm 16:8-11 in Acts 2:25-28 (an article by a Christian)
Introduction
The use of the Old Testament in the New is an intriguing area of study including detailed research on scores of explicit citations as well as allusions in an attempt to understand how the NT writers understood and used the Old Testament. The purpose of this study is simply to look at one of those passages, namely, the use of Psalm 16:8-11 in Acts 2:25-28 and attempt to articulate how Peter is handling the psalm.First, the paper will discuss the meaning of the psalm in its OT context. Second, the changes made by the LXX to the Hebrew text will be evaluated since Peter quotes the LXX verbatim in Acts 2:25-28. Third, we will look very briefly at the use of the psalm in first century Judaism. Fourth, we will discuss the particular use Peter is making of the psalm in Acts 2. The issues involved in such a discussion are complex, to say the least, and any initial conclusions must be somewhat tentative until more passages are examined.
Psalm 16:8-11 in Its OT Context
THE AUTHORSHIP AND DATE OF PSALM 16
Although the Book of the Psalms is perhaps one of the most cherished portions of Scripture and most widely read, critical issues and particulars surrounding its “coming to expression” pose significant problems for commentators and answers are in some cases impossible to pin down with certainty.3 The authorship and date of Psalm 16 are two of these primary kinds of difficulties.While Peter in his Pentecost sermon clearly ascribes Davidic authorship to the Psalm (Acts 2:25, 29-31; cf. also 13:36), such is not clear in a study of the Psalm itself in its OT context. The expression dw]d`l= in the title by no means renders the Davidic authorship certain. It is an ambiguous phrase. The preposition l= can mean “by” (i.e., authored by David) or “to” (i.e., belonging to a Davidic collection) and the name “David” can refer to King David or any future king of the Davidic line (cf. Hosea 3:5). The Psalm is one of the Miktam Psalms, but in contrast to four of the other six that make up this group (i.e., 56, 57, 59, 60), there is no reference in the title of the Psalm to any event in the life of David. Therefore, the authorship and date of the Psalm cannot be fixed with certainty from the inscription alone. General time periods will be suggested under ‘The Setting of the Psalm” below.
THE SETTING OF PSALM 16
According to Sabourin, there have been three different views on the general setting of the Psalm: 1) soon after the return from Babylonian captivity, due to similarities with Is. 57:5; 62:4; 65:3-7; 2) the intertestamental period: the psalmist’s opposition to idolatry might indicate that he was one of the hasidim of the intertestamental period during the rise of Hellenism; 3) a pre-Exilic date based upon allusions to the Covenant Festival, including the presence of God, the renunciation of foreign gods, and the bestowal of land. On the other hand, if we agree with Davidic authorship, then it must be dated during David’s lifetime, though no specific circumstance can be determined with certainty. I am inclined to such a position, because: 1) there is nothing in the Psalm that necessarily rules out Davidic authorship; 2) in a comparison with other well known Davidic psalms, this psalm has much in common; 3) the title corroborates Davidic authorship and 4) both Peter and Paul, probably following a current consensus, subscribe to this tradition (Acts 2:25; 13:35, 36).THE STRUCTURE OF PSALM 16
Psalm 16 is a Psalm of Confidence (cf. also Psalm 4, 11, 23, 27:1-6; 62; 131), but may have developed out of the category of the Lament Psalms (cf. 17:8; 140:4). In any case, while most commentators recognize it as a Psalm of Confidence, there is no shortage of ways commentators have suggested the psalm be broken down. Perhaps the best overall, general breakdown, is that offered by Ross: 1) The Lord is His Portion in Life (1-8) and 2) the Lord Will Preserve Him (9-11). Within this two part, overall structure we may say that vv. 1-2 constitute the introduction with a prayer and statement of faith; vv. 3-4 communicate a contrast between those that maintain YHWH as their God and those that seek other gods; vv. 5-8 state the psalmist’s trust and confidence in YHWH and vv. 9-11 speak of the greatness of YHWH’s deliverance and preservation of the psalmist so that he might feel secure and continue to enjoy Him.The Overall Message of Psalm 16 and the Meaning of Verses 8-11
THE OVERALL MESSAGE OF PSALM 16
The overall message can be summarized as follows: David is confident that YHWH will preserve him from an untimely death and instead grant him a rich full life because he has chosen YHWH as his portion and he knows that YHWH will not permit his “loyal one” to be overcome with calamity and death. Next, we turn to a detailed explanation of this message, especially as it concerns vv. 8-11 (i.e., the material Peter quotes) and their meaning in their OT context.THE MEANING OF PSALM 16:8-11:
PRESERVATION FROM DEATH OR DELIVERANCE OUT OF DEATH?
The purpose of this section is to ascertain the meaning of 16:8-11 in its OT context. This is a critical point in the discussion at hand, for the meaning one understands in the psalm to have in the OT, will obviously affect how one understands Peter to be using the verses in his quotation in Acts 2:25-28. Accordingly, the key question seems to be: “Does the psalmist speak of deliverance from death, or deliverance out of death?” Several factors in the psalm seem to point in the direction that David is speaking about deliverance from death, not deliverance out of death (e.g., resurrection from the dead). We will first examine 16:1-7 and then 16:8-11.THE CONTRIBUTION OF 16:1-7
16:1: “Keep [preserve] me, O God, for I have sought refuge in you.” This expression in verse one brings to mind the Psalms of Lamentation, but it is difficult in at this point in the psalm to tell if the danger is current or the psalmist is simply asking for continued protection and safe-keeping in the future. The point, however, to be made here, is that the type of protection being asked for is deliverance from physical harm and trouble. If, as Ross says, this governs the whole Psalm, then it is reasonable to conclude that no personal eschatology concerning the afterlife is necessarily in view in vv. 8-11.18 Several details in the psalm, to be discussed momentarily, substantiate such an interpretation.16:4 “they will multiply their pains; they have acquired another [god].” There are several problems with the precise translation of Wrhm, but the overall sense is clear enough. These people, whoever they were, had sought after other gods and were thus destined to bring pain upon themselves. In this context, this pain amounts to suffering in this life (cf. Gen 3:16 for a similar phrase). The implication is that David, as one who had taken YHWH only as his God, would not have this pain in life (in his present context pain and suffering includes death), but would instead have pleasant things. This is brought out in 16:6.
16:6 “the lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; Indeed, I have an excellent heritage”). David seems to be saying metaphorically that his inheritance in the land of Israel has been marked out by God and is indeed excellent. This includes the counsel God has given him in this situation (v. 7) as well as all the blessings that He has provided which those who run after other gods cannot enjoy (e.g., fellowship with YHWH himself). There is no future eschatology in these verses, but only a focus on David and the “lot” given him up to that point in his life. The problems and blessings are all in the “here and now,” as the metaphorical reference to the apportioning of the promised land, and the portion and cup indicate.
The preceding observations from verses 1-7 are simply included to demonstrate that David seems concerned about physical safety, and the security YHWH offers in life as opposed to the pain and suffering others, who run after foreign gods, will experience.
THE CONTRIBUTION OF 16:8-11
16:8 “because [you are] at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” In this context, the niphil imperfect fwMa, probably refers to the thought of fear in response to adversity or indeed may refer to death itself (cf. Psalm 13:5). This latter option is quite probable given the next verse wherein the psalmist says that his body shall dwell in safety; i.e., will come to no harm. The point is, that David was facing the probability of physical harm, perhaps, given verses 9-10, physical harm that would eventually lead to his untimely death.16:9a @”Therefore.” The inferential conjunction /kl connects his previous confidence in verse 8, namely, that he would not be moved or shaken (possibly die), to his rejoicing in 16:9a, b and to his confidence that his body would dwell in safety in 16:9c. The entire focus is on physical protection, for what else could my flesh shall dwell in safety mean when connected to I will not be shaken? The point is that his body would dwell securely and not come to harm in any way. It appears to me to go well beyond the historical situation and language of the psalm to argue that my flesh shall dwell in safety means hope for a resurrection.
16:10a “‘for’ you will not abandon my soul to Sheol.” We have seen, that up to this point, the psalmist is confidently anticipating that he will not suffer harm or death. Instead, he has been rejoicing because YHWH is at his right hand—a sure sign of protection (cf. Ps 110:5; 121:5). Verse 10 is a clear explanation of the grounds of this confidence. The Qal imperfect bz[}t’ with the negative particle al indicates that his rejoicing in God is something that will continue into the future for (yK) YHWH will not abandon David to Sheol. The verb bzu plus the preposition l indicate motion toward a place or state, not movement out of a place or state. This must be true, for in the argument of the psalm up to this point, the pslamist is not even anticipating death, but is exulting in the assurance of God’s protection from death. This is clearly brought out in the next half of the verse.
The term lwac apparently initially referred to the place where all people go at death (Gen 37:35; Num 16:30,33; Psalm 55:16; Is 38:10), but later the righteous and the wicked were also distinguished in Sheol (Ps 9:18; 31:18 MT). The sum of what David is saying in 16:10a is that he is thankful that God will not give him over to death so that he is in effect abandoned to Sheol (i.e., the place where dead people go) and can no longer enjoy God’s presence (see esp. Psalm 6:6).
16:10b “You will not give your holy one to see corruption.” This line is parallel to 10a and gives a further clarification of what was just said by David. In other words, we have here in verse 10a and b two lines in synonymous parallel. The Qal imperfect /tt with the negative particle al once again empasizes the futurity of the comment and that David is certain that he, as the ‘holy one’ of YHWH, will not see death; that is, his body will not see the tj^v* due to this threatening circumstance he is facing. The term tj^v* has been argued to refer to the “pit” or place of burial, or to the process of decomposition that a deceased person undergoes once placed in the grave. Dahood is convinced that the former option is correct and that the psalmst is expressing the belief that the godly “will be granted the same privileged accorded Enoch and Elijah.” If David is the author, as I believe, such an interpretation is ruled out for David clearly believed that he would die someday (cf. Psalm 39:13, 14 MT). Even if one remains agnostic as to the question of authorship, the idea of a spiritual translation is unwarranted in the context of the psalm as a whole. The author is facing a life-threatening struggle from which he expects YHWH to deliver him and that he (i.e., yrvb) will remain alive and well. It must be said, however, that if one adopts the former option because of the parallel with lwav this does not necessarily mean that one must buy Dahood’s argument. The reason is because David is not stating that he will never die, but only that he would not die prematurely as a result of this circumstance.
The latter option, meaning “corruption” understands the root of tjv to be tjv and not jWv. Delitzsch rejects this understanding of the term, arguing that jWv is the root and the term has the idea of “sinking down.” This would better correspond with lwav in the parallel, though the parallel does not demand it. This point will be taken up further in the section dealing with the LXX’s apparent changes of the MT.
16:11a “you will cause me to know the path of life.” Again, since David is confident that he will not die, these words are best applied to the counsel God gives him (cf. v. 7) that enables him to continue to live unharmed in a dangerous situation. In this case the hiphil-imperfect ynuydwt has a present, with future looking force. In other words, the <yyj jra is the path that leads to physical safety that YHWH shows David in order that he may escape unharmed in this situation. Dahood, however, sees in the expression “path of life” the idea of eternal life, based primarily upon comparison between a Ugaritic text (2 Aqht:VI 27-29) and Prov 12:28. But his thesis depends in large measure on the interpretation of twmla in Prov 12:28 which is variously debated. Kaiser, however, agrees with Dahood on this point. In the end, though, Dahood’s thesis seems untenable, for David is confident that he will not die and it is therefore unlikely that he is considering any type of life after death.
16:11b, c “the fullness of joy with your presence; pleasures at your right hand forever.” In Sheol, a person will not enjoy the presence of God. Therefore, since he is confident that he indeed will not die and be abandoned to Sheol, David rejoices in knowing that he will continue to live and experience great joy in his relationship with YHWH (11a). The following parallel phrase in 11b goes back to verse 8 and means that, David as the dysh of YHWH, is at YHWH’s right hand of blessing. As such David will experience this tremendous security and confidence for as long as he lives (cf. jxn).
THE CONTRIBUTION OF THE HISTORICAL/THEOLOGICAL CONTEXT
There is little indication in the Psalm that David is consciously thinking about eternal life or some kind of life after death. He is simply rejoicing in the fact that God will spare him from an untimely death and as a result he has the opportunity to enjoy fellowship with God for as long as he lives. That there is no explicit idea of the afterlife and certainly not of resurrection in the psalm accords well with broader historical/theological considerations current at the time of the writing. At this point in the development of the canon, and to a point much later, there appears to be no clear references to resurrection, and so to view Psalm 16 as speaking to that issue may be somewhat anachronistic. Two Old Testament texts which do seem to have in them the idea of resurrection include Isaiah 26:19 and Daniel 12:2, but these texts are much later in date. Concerning the plight of the dead in the Old Testament, Gerhard Von Rad comments:This meant, however, that the dead were excluded from fellowship with Jahweh and were in the highest degree unclean. We find in Ps. LXXXVIII a definition of the state of being dead which, theologically speaking, leaves practically nothing more to be said: the dead were cut off from praising Jahweh and from hearing him proclaimed, and above all, they were cut off from him himself . . . The realm of the dead remained an indefinable third party between Jahweh and his creation . . . The prediction that God will provide a resurrection from the dead of his own people is found in it only peripherally.
What von Rad is saying about the whole of the Old Testament, is certainly true of the early psalms, including psalm 16. The fact that resurrection is not an idea expressed clearly, elsewhere in the Old Testament writings of the time, is a corroboratory argument for understanding psalm 16 as simply a reference to preservation from death.
Further, this appears to have been David’s own perspective on death as well. He did not seem to really articulate a concept of life after death (cf. 2 Sam 7:12; 12:23; Ps. 39:5-7). In Psalm 39:13, 14 (MT) he says: “Hear my prayer O Lord, and give ear to my cry; Do not be silent toward my tears because I am a stranger with you; a sojourner like all my fathers. Look away from me so that I may know (some) happiness before I go (i.e., die) and am no more ([ynnyaw]; author’s trans.).
SUMMARY
In summary, we may say that while psalm 16:8-11 does not deny an afterlife by any means, it simply does not explicitly affirm one either. Both the language and historical/theological context of the psalm (i.e., in the context of a developing revelation) seem to argue for the idea of preservation from death; not deliverance out of death. The main focus in the psalm is on life with God and life apart from God, not with life and death.Psalm 16:8-11 in the LXX:
Certain Changes from the MT
The following section is a brief look at the changes which the LXX has made to the MT. It should be noted that Peter’s use of Psalm 16:8-11 follows the LXX exactly. The central question that emerges for our consideration is: “Do the changes introduced by the LXX enable Peter to interpret psalm 16:8-11 as referring to resurrection so that without such changes, i.e., if left with only the MT or a literal Aramaic translation, such an interpretation would be at best forced and unnatural?”TWO INSIGNIFICANT CHANGES
The LXX changes the MT at two places which in themselves are not extremely important for the meaning of the psalm. In 16:8 the LXX reads prowrwvmhn for the Hebrew hwv. The LXX need not mean anything substantially different from the MT, but simply be a concrete visual expression of “setting” the Lord before oneself.The LXX change of ydbk to hJ glw`ssa is not that significant and may just be an attempt to bring the subject in line conceptually with the action typical of the verb lgyw (i.e., one often uses the tongue, vis–vis singing, to rejoice; cf. Ps 32:11).
THREE SIGNIFICANT CHANGES
THE CHANGE FROM JFBL TO EJP EJLPIDI
This change, at first glance, appears to put an eschatological twist on an otherwise non-eschatological passage. Polhill says, “The Septuagintal form of the psalm has a decidedly eschatological slant. Such variants . . . allow an interpretation in terms of resurrection and immortality” (italics mine). Not only will his body dwell in security or safety, but it will dwell in hope (i.e., of resurrection). But, as Bock, following Rese points out, Peter, in the context of Christ’s resurrection, could have demonstrated from the MT that “security” entailed the idea of “resurrection.” Therefore, Polhill is correct to say that the LXX is decidedly eschatological at this point, but he is not correct to imply that without such a rendering the psalm could not be read to imply resurrection.THE CHANGE FROM TJV TO DIAFQORAVN
Concerning this change Haenchen says:Diafqoravn, meaning deterioration or putrefaction, is a mistranslation taken from LXX [sic], which made an erroneous derivation of tj^v* (a pit) from tj@v! (to spoil). The Hebrew spoke only of preservation from death, the Greek of preservation from decomposition: only the latter permitted the Christological interpretation.
But, again, as Bock points out, there may be sufficient evidence from Jewish materials to conclude that a first century Jew would have understood the term as a reference to physical corruption in association with Gehenna. In the end, it appears that the LXX rendering of the MT is another example of its desire to concretize the concepts of Psalm 16:8-11.
The point of the preceding discussion is simply to underline the fact that while the LXX does change the MT in several places, these changes are not decisive in and of themselves for a resurrection interpretation. Granted, based on the two significant changes above, the LXX does make it somewhat easier to argue for a resurrection from Psalm 16, but this is not to say that such an idea cannot be, at least, implied by the MT.
THE CHANGE FROM BZUT TO EJGKATALEIVYEI”
There is one other change worth noting—a change which was touched upon above when we discussed the meaning of verse 16: 10. In the LXX (15:10) this verse reads ejgkataleivyei”. . . eij” a{/dhn for the MT lwavl . . . bzut. The important point to note here concerns the prepositions. The LXX verb ejgkataleivyei” is a compound verb formed from the preposition ejn plus the verb kataleivpw. Since eij” can mean “in,” the phrase can be translated as: “you will not leave my soul in Hades.” In fact, this is the KJV and the NJKV rendering of the text. This is important because these translations are not saying that God will not abandon David to Sheol, but that when he goes there, he will not be left there—he will be brought out of Sheol. This more easily accommodates itself to a resurrection interpretation and is the very verse that Peter appeals to from 16:8-11 to underscore Jesus’ resurrection in Acts 2:31. The problem with these English translations and the LXX, is that the verb bzut plus the preposition l does not mean “to leave in” (as pointed out above), but means “to abandon to” somewhere or someone.The Jewish Use of
Psalm 16:8-11 in the First Century
There is no evidence, according to David Williams, that Psalm 16:10 ever received a messianic interpretation in the first century or earlier. The midrash on 16:9, however, indicates that David rejoiced in the Lord Messiah who would rise up out of him. The precise significance of this statement is difficult to determine in the midrash since the quote from Isaiah 4:5 which follows in the next sentence appears to make very little sense in the context. In the end, the midrash is probably referring to the Davidic descent of the Messiah.With regard to verse 10, the midrash teaches that David’s body would not decay. According to the rabbis, “this verse proves that neither corruption nor worms had the power over David’s flesh . . . In the grave his flesh will not dissolve like the dust.” The evidence suggests that the rabbis did not understand the psalm to be speaking about resurrection.
Difference between Judaism and Christianity based on their scriptures:
For centuries, Christians have asked why Jews don’t accept the authenticity of the New Testament. Let’s explore in depth one of the many reasons, namely contradictions and inconsistencies.
Judaism believes that the Jewish Scriptures, often referred to as the Old Testament, are the inspired word of God. If passages appear to contradict one another, it is our responsibility to delve deeply and uncover a correct understanding. Unfortunately, some Christians believe that the end justifies the means and often use the following New Testament passage to justify their approach. “Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed…” [Philippians 1:18]
Additionally, Judaism encourages full disclosure and an honest examination of the Bible. Therefore, when passages within Jewish Scriptures appear to contradict one another, our sages never ignored them. Instead, they always sought an understanding consistent with the entire Torah.
I begin by presenting one of many examples that substantiate the Jewish approach. In 1 Chronicles 21:1, it states, “Then Satan stood up against Israel and moved David to number Israel.”
However, another passage in the Jewish Bible, 2 Samuel 24:1, states that God caused King David to count the Jewish people. “The anger of the Lord burned against Israel, and He incited David against them to say, ‘Go number Israel…’”
So, who made David number Israel – Satan or God? The confusion is based on a misunderstanding of the word, “Satan.”
Unlike Christianity, Jewish Scriptures do not teach that Satan is a “fallen and rebellious angel.” In fact, the first time that Satan appears in the Jewish Bible, the word refers to an angel sent by God to prevent Balaam, the non-Jewish prophet, from cursing the Jewish people. In fact, Balaam winds up blessing them. Definitely not a mission for an evil Satan!The Jewish Bible states, “God was very angry when he (Balaam) went, and the angel (מאלך) of the Lord stood in the road to oppose (לשטן) him…” [Numbers 22:22] In this verse, the Hebrew word for “oppose” is “l’satan” and it is clearly not referring to an angel who is rebelling against God’s will. Rather, it refers to a messenger designated to carry out His will. The literal meaning of the Hebrew word “malach – מאלך” is “messenger” although it is usually translated as “angel.”
This interpretation is also consistent with the biblical account of Satan found in the book of Job. There we see that Satan has no free will of his own and is given permission by God to torment Job to test his loyalty to Him.
Thus, we see that Satan is a force, an angel, used by God to test mankind. Furthermore, we can understand the purpose of evil in this world and why the Jewish prophet Isaiah 45:7 states that God, “makes peace and creates evil (רע).” Contrary to Christianity’s viewpoint, which is similar to the one inherent in Greek mythology, Judaism does not regard Satan as a separate force that exists to oppose God.
These explanations, combined with a careful scrutiny of the original Hebrew, clarify the apparent contradiction in the passages cited above from Chronicles and Samuel – and they also demonstrate that there is no contradiction at all because Satan is an emissary sent by God who created him solely for His use in testing mankind.
Contradictions in the New Testament are different. How so?
Because the New Testament claims that “All Scripture is inspired by God…” [2 Timothy 3:16], and thereby places the New Testament and the Old Testament on an equal standing of divine inspiration. Consequently, the two should never contradict one another in any way. However, when contradictions do arise, we must discover a valid explanation – and if we cannot find one, then we have encountered a true contradiction.Christianity must acknowledge that only the Old Testament – and not the New – maintains its status as inspired by God. Why? Because the New Testament was written after the creation of the Old and, in fact, uses the Old to prove its validity. In other words, when the New Testament contradicts the divinely inspirited Old Testament it bases itself upon, it cannot maintain its own claim of being divinely inspired and infallible.
The Contradictions and Inconsistencies between the Two Books
Contradiction 1The New Testament states, “If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.” [Luke 14:26]
When we read this verse as an isolated passage, it appears to say that a person must hate his/her family in order to be considered a disciple of Jesus. However, this statement clearly contradicts the Old Testament biblical command to honor one’s parents as found in the Ten Commandments. “Honor your father and your mother…” [Exodus 20:12], and the commandment to “Love your fellow as yourself…” [Leviticus 19:1]
Some Christians reply that the Luke 14:26 passage should not be taken literally. Furthermore, they assert that this passage is taken out of context and is an inaccurate translation. Ironically, their arguments confirm the Jewish teaching of not accepting passages on surface value without first applying careful examination of context and translation to obtain a correct understanding.
While we are discussing the importance of reading passages correctly, I present another glaring example of a passage that is regularly mistranslated and read out of context. Many Christians like to quote the following verse from the book of Psalms to claim a prophetic reference to the crucifixion of Jesus. “For dogs have surrounded me; a band of evildoers has encompassed me; they pierced my hands and feet.” [Psalms 22:16] Although this passage appears this way in almost every Christian translation of the book of Psalms, nevertheless we have a blatant case of mistranslation and lack of context designed to create an inaccurate impression.
The first mistake is the translation of the original Hebrew word (k’ari – כארי) as “pierced.” The word actually means “like a lion” and the verse should read, “…they encompassed my hands and feet like a lion.” This original Hebrew translation is totally consistent with many other verses, such as Isaiah 38:13 which states, “I wait for morning; like a lion (כארי), even so he breaks all my bones…”
In context, King David, author of Psalms, is referring to the fear he experiences when pursued by his enemies, the army of King Saul. Earlier in Psalms, David uses terminology that unmistakably parallels Psalm 22. “Hide me under the shadow of thy wings, from the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about… They dog our footsteps; they encompass us: they set their eyes to tread us down to the earth; he is like a lion greedy for its prey.” [Psalms 17:8‑12]
In Psalms 22 and 17, David compares his enemies to dogs and lions that surround and encompass him. The Hebrew word for “like a lion” appears in both of them. Therefore, we can conclude that this Christian mistranslation was a disingenuous attempt to paint the crucifixion into the Old Testament.
Although some Christians admit that the original Hebrew does state “like a lion”, nevertheless others attempt to discredit this translation by fabricating the claim that the Hebrew text contains a scribal error. Furthermore, they claim that the ancient Greek Septuagint supports their “pierced” translation. Both of their arguments do not stand up to scrutiny, especially the Septuagint claim.
Contradiction 2
In the New Testament, we are told that Jesus performed miracles, such as healing the sick. When the rabbis question his holiness and his claims that he is from God, they are asked how is it possible for someone to perform miracles if they are not from God. The New Testament account ends with the rabbis offering no response. “But others were saying, ‘How can a man who is sinner perform such miracles?’ And there was a division among them.” [John 9:16]
Even for people with just a basic familiarity with the Jewish bible, this story is unbelievable and instantly raises a red flag. Any child, no less the rabbis of that time period, knows that an answer to this question appears in Deuteronomy 13. The Jewish bible clearly teaches that a false prophet may perform miracles – not as an act of holiness but rather, as a demonstration that serves to test our loyalty to God.
“If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or wonder, and the sign or the wonder comes true, concerning which he spoke to you, saying ‘Let us go after other gods whom you have not known and let us serve them’, you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for the Lord your God is testing you to find out if you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul… But that prophet or that dreamer of dreams shall be put to death.” [Deut. 13:1‑5]
The rabbis could have responded with yet another Old Testament example of unholy people performing miracles. “…the magicians of Egypt did (miracles) in a like manner with their secret arts.” [Exodus 7:11] There are also numerous contradictions in the New Testament book of Acts. In chapter 7:51, we are told that the disciple Stephen is “full of the Holy Spirit.” However, when recounting basic Jewish history, this spirit is non-existent because he contradicts well-known, undisputed facts clearly stated in the Old Testament.
Every child who reads a Passover Haggadah knows that the Jews went down to Egypt as a group comprised of 70 people and subsequently became a great nation. This statement appears in the Old Testament in three places. “Your fathers went down to Egypt seventy persons in all.” [Deuteronomy 10:22, Exodus 1:5, Genesis 46:27]
It is inconceivable that Stephen, a person described as “full of the Holy Spirit”, would mistakenly state, “…and Joseph sent word and invited Jacob his father and all his relatives to come to him, seventy‑five persons in all.” [Act 7:14] Moreover, Stephen continues to recount incorrect biblical facts when he states that “Jacob went down to Egypt and there he and our fathers died. From there they were removed to Shechem and laid in the tomb which Abraham had purchased for a sum of money from the sons of Hamor in Shechem.” [Acts 7:16]
Jacob was not buried in Shechem in a cave purchased by Abraham from Hamor. In truth, Jacob was buried in Hebron in a cave bought by Abraham from Ephron. “For his sons carried him (Jacob) into the land of Canaan, and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, the field that Abraham bought as a burial plot from Ephron…” [Genesis 50:13]
Once again, we see that Stephen was obviously not filled with divine inspiration when he got his basic facts confused. In fact, it was Joseph who was buried in Shechem [Joshua 24:32] in a field purchased by Jacob from Emmor. [Genesis 33:19]
Contradiction 3
We find another contradiction in the book of Matthew 2:23 where we are told that “Jesus came and resided in a city called Nazareth that what was spoken through the prophets might be fulfilled, ‘He shall be called a Nazarene.’” This statement does not appear anywhere in the Old Testament. In fact, at the time of the writing of the Old Testament, the city of Nazareth did not even exist!
In addition, many Christian bibles incorrectly attribute this quote of the disciple Matthew to the Old Testament book of Judges 16:17, a passage that refers to Samson who was Nazarite. A Nazarite is someone who takes an oath to abstain from wine and hair cutting. A Nazarene, on the other hand, is a person from the city Nazareth. These words may sound alike but in Hebrew, they are spelled differently and are totally dissimilar – one contains the Hebrew letter zayen (נזר), while the other has the Hebrew letter tzadik (נצר).
Contradiction 4
Another major contradiction is found in the New Testament book of Romans. In an attempt to promote the belief that the redeemer (messiah) will come from Zion and remove the sins of man, the New Testament inaccurately quotes a passage from Isaiah. Classic Christian belief claims that only by believing in the messiah, can people be totally forgiven for their sins. Romans states that “The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.” [Romans 11:26] However, the original verse from Jewish scriptures states that the redeemer will come to Zion and to those who turn away (repent) from sin. These two diametrically opposed statements represent a critical theological difference between Judaism and Christianity. As Isaiah states, “A redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from transgression.” [Isaiah 59:20]
To continue this discussion about atonement of sin, the New Testament incorrectly quotes Psalms to make it appear that the body of the messiah (offered on the cross) is more desired than sacrifices. “Sacrifices and offering thou hast not desired, but a body Thou hast prepared for Me.” [Hebrews 10:5] In truth, the correct translation of this passage is, “Sacrifices and meal offerings Thou hast not desired; My ears Thou hast opened.” [Psalms 40:6]
Another verse from the Jewish bible confirms the Jewish understanding of Psalm 40:6 by stating that God wants obedience more than sacrifices. “…Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice…” [1 Samuel 15:22] Additionally, sin offerings were meant for unintentional sins only (see Leviticus 4) and served to motivate repentance. In the Jewish bible, the animal blood sacrifice was not the main ingredient in removing sin. Even a perfect sacrifice not accompanied with sincere repentance could never achieve atonement for the individual.
“The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is His delight.” [Proverbs 15:8]
How do we attain atonement for sins, today, when we no longer offer sacrifices in the Holy Temple in Jerusalem? The Jewish prophet Hosea (Chapter 14) taught us that when there is no Temple, our prayers replace sacrifices as the act to arouse our authentic feelings of remorse and repentance. “Offer your lips (of prayer) in place of the bulls (of sacrifices).” [Hosea 14:2] Although the context substantiates the correct understanding, Christian translations avoid the association of sacrifices and prayers. Instead, they often delete the reference to the sacrificial bulls by mistranslating the verse as “Offer the fruit of our lips”, as found in the Christian King James Bible and New American Standard editions.
Another passage that clearly instructs the Jews to replace sacrifices with prayer is found in the Old Testament, book of Kings, chapter 8. “When Your people go out to battle against their enemy, by whatever way You shall send them, and they pray to the Lord toward the city which You have chosen and the house which I have built for Your name, then hear in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.” [1 Kings 8:44-45]
Some Christians attempt to validate their claim for the essential need of blood sacrifices by claiming that the Old Testament, Leviticus 17:11 states, “There is no remission of sin without the shedding of blood.” But this statement does not appear anywhere in Jewish Scriptures! In fact, Leviticus 17:11 reads, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood by reason of the life that makes atonement.”
Although this verse states that blood serves as a tool to attain atonement for sin, it does not say that blood is only way to achieve this. In truth, the Jewish bible contains several examples of achieving atonement through various means without blood, such as “Aaron offered the incense and made atonement for them.” [Numbers 16:47]
The closest reference to Christianity’s fabricated version of the Leviticus 17:11 passage concerning blood and atonement actually appears in the New Testament. Amazingly, this passage actually substantiates the Jewish understanding and significantly contradicts the Christian argument. How so? Because it states that a person can almost claim that blood makes atonement. “And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness…” [Hebrews 9:22]
Contradiction 5
One of the most shocking contradictions in the New Testament appears in Hebrews where the Jewish prophet Jeremiah is deliberately misquoted. Why did this happen? Christians want to give the impression that God has rejected or no longer cares for the Jewish people. “For they did not continue in My covenant and I did not care for them…” [Hebrews 8:9] But Jeremiah’s words were totally different! He taught that although the Jewish people may have behaved like an unfaithful wife, God remains a faithful husband and will not break His covenant with them. The verse actually states, “My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them…” [Jeremiah 31:32]
God also stated that He would never break His covenant with the Jewish people. “I will not reject them or abhor them so as to destroy them completely, breaking my covenant with them…” [Leviticus 26:44] Throughout the New Testament, there are countless more contradictions and inconsistencies rooted in blatant mistranslations.
To prove the virgin birth, Matthew incorrectly quotes the prophet Isaiah and states, “Behold a virgin shall be with child and shall bear a son and they shall call His name Immanuel.” [Matthew 1:23] But Isaiah actually wrote, “Behold the young woman is with a child and shall bear a son and she will call His name Immanuel.” [Isaiah 7:14]
The Old Testament original is in the present tense (is with child) and speaks about a specific (the) “young woman” (not “a virgin”) who is pregnant during his lifetime. Furthermore, chapter 8 of Isaiah clearly identifies the woman as Isaiah’s own wife and the child as their own! Contradiction 6
Yet another contradiction appears in the New Testament when Matthew tries to prove that an Old Testament prophesy was fulfilled when the infant Jesus returned from Egypt. Matthew incorrectly quotes Hosea as saying, “…out of Egypt did I call my Son.” [Matthew 2:15] The verse in Jewish scriptures actually says, “When Israel was a youth I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.” [Hosea 11:1]
In addition, in the Old Testament, the people of Israel are referred to in the singular as being God’s son. “Then you shall say to Pharaoh, ‘Thus says the Lord, ‘Israel is My son, My firstborn.’” [Exodus 4:22] This verse also highlights the Christian misinterpretation of the identity of the suffering Servant of God described in Isaiah 53. Christians claim the suffering Servant refers to Jesus, but it actually refers to the people Jewish as a single group suffering because of the nations of the world. For centuries, Christians have used yet another shocking contradiction. They claim that the Jews are blind to a proper understanding of their own scriptures, especially those that point to Jesus.
The New Testament book of Corinthians states that the Jews have a veil over their hearts that blocks their ability to read and understand the teachings of Moses. The Christian argument continues to assert that when the Jews turn to Jesus, their veil will be removed and they will be able to see the truth. This assertion is mind-boggling!
“But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart. But whenever a man turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.” [2 Corinthians 3:12‑16] As absurd as this Christian argument may be, it becomes even more outrageous by the intentional mistranslation of a passage from Exodus. In Chapter 34, we are told that when Moses came down from Mount Sinai, his face was beaming with rays of light. This light was so intense that the Jews could not look at him.
Therefore, when Moses stopped speaking to the Jews and finished teaching them the Torah, he would cover his face with a veil. “When Moses had finished speaking with them, he put a veil over his face.” [Exodus 34:34] The Hebrew word for “had finished” is the same as the word used in Genesis 2:1 where we are told that God had finished (vayechulu – וַיְכֻלּ֛וּ) the creation. For centuries, traditional Jews have understood and recited this word every Friday night when they sanctified the Sabbath with wine.
The authors of these Christian translations, including the King James Bible, have contradicted the original Hebrew and intentionally mistranslated the verse in Exodus to make it consistent with the verse in Corinthians. “And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a veil on his face.” [Christian translation]
Their incorrect version deliberately implies that until Moses was finished speaking to the Jews, he had a veil over his face. Therefore, he transmitted only a veiled understanding of the meaning of his words!
Furthermore, there are other major contradictions and inconsistencies within the New Testament itself! I present just two of many.
Example 1:
The Synoptic Gospels state that the Last Supper was on Passover (Matthew 26:1-19, Mark 14:12-23 and Luke 22:7-20). However, the disciple John claims that Jesus was crucified before Passover started.
“Now it was the day of preparation for the Passover… and they crucified him.” [John 19:14-18]
Example 2:
Disciples Matthew and Luke present genealogical records to demonstrate that Jesus is a direct descendant of King David and therefore, a rightful heir to the Messianic throne. Jewish Scriptures emphatically state that the messiah must meet several specific criteria and genealogy is definitely one of them. The messiah must be:
1. A Male, Son-After-Son, Descendant from the Biblical Tribe of Judah
“The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until Shiloh (Messiah) comes.” [Genesis 49:10] Tribal affiliation is patrilineal, transmitted only from father to son. “Then they registered their ancestry in their families by their fathers’ household.” [Numbers 1:18]
2. A Descendant of King David
“I shall raise up for David a righteous branch and he will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land.” [Jeremiah 23:5] “David shall never lack a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel.” [Jeremiah 33:17] “I will raise up your descendant after you (David), who will come forth from you, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for My name and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be a father to him and he will be a son to Me.” [2 Samuel 7:12‑16].
3. A Descendant of King Solomon
“His name shall be Solomon… he shall build a house for My name and I will be a father to him and he will be a son to Me and I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.” [1 Chronicles 22:9‑10] However, a careful examination of the two New Testament genealogies presents serious problems. The first concerns the birth of Jesus.
By claiming that Jesus was born of a virgin birth, he would obviously not have a physical father and would be disqualified immediately as a member of the tribe of Judah or David. “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: When His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child by the Holy Spirit.” [Matthew 1:18]
Furthermore, the disciple Paul claims that Jesus is the messiah based on his physical genealogy. “Concerning his Son, who was born a descendant of David according to the flesh.” [Romans 1:3] “For it is evident that our Lord was descended from Judah.” [Hebrews 7:14] By stating that Jesus was the physical descendant of Judah and David, Paul validates the biblical criteria of biological ancestry and at the same time, contradicts the mistaken genealogical claims found in the Gospels.
Additionally, the genealogy of Matthew is inconsistent with Luke’s! Matthew lists Joseph’s father as Jacob, and Luke lists Joseph’s father as Eli. “And to Jacob was born Joseph the husband of Mary, by whom was born Jesus.” [Matthew 1:16] “Jesus was about thirty years of age, being supposedly the son of Joseph, the son of Eli.” [Luke 3:23]
Matthew also lists Jesus as being a descendant of King Jeconiah whose descendants were disqualified from ever being Kings of Israel.[11] “To Josiah were born Jeconiah and his brothers, at the time of the deportation to Babylon.” [Matthew 1:11] This is problematic because it also says, “Write this man (Jeconiah) down childless… for no man of his descendants will prosper sitting on the throne of David or ruling again in Judah.” [Jeremiah 22:24]
Furthermore, Luke’s genealogy record lists 14 more generations than Matthew’s, and he lists Jesus as being a descendant of King David through his son Nathan and not his son Solomon, as required by biblical mandate. “… the son of Nathan the son of David.” [Luke 3:31] Some Christians try to resolve this discrepancy by claiming that Luke is actually listing Mary’s genealogy. This far-fetched and desperate theory is highly problematic for several reasons.
1. The Greek text does not substantiate this argument.
2. Mary’s affiliation to the tribe of Judah would not be transmitted to her children because tribal affiliation is patrilineal.
3. This genealogy does not include Solomon.
Possibly, these obvious contradictions compelled the disciple Paul to write the following dramatic statement to his disciple Timothy. “… nor pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which give rise to mere speculation rather than further the administration of God which is by faith.” [1Timothy 1:4] For those who seek to discover the truth, it is evident that all of these countless attempts by Christians to prove that Jesus is a divine Messiah are based on inaccurate quotes and distortions of the original Hebrew Bible.
To conclude, the examples that I have presented here represent only a fraction of the contradictions and inconsistencies we encounter whenever we make a careful examination of the New versus the Old Testament.

Hebrews 8:8-13–Speaking of Contradictions:
8 “The days are coming, declares the Lord,
when I will make a new covenant
with the people of Israel
and with the people of Judah.
9 It will not be like the covenant
I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of Egypt,
because they did not remain faithful to my covenant,
and I turned away from them,
declares the Lord.
10 This is the [new] covenant I will establish with the people of Israel
after that time, declares the Lord.
I will put my laws in their minds
and write them on their hearts.
I will be their God,
and they will be my people.
11 No longer will they teach their neighbor,
or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’
because they will all know me,
from the least of them to the greatest.
12 For I will forgive their wickedness
and will remember their sins no more.”[c]
13 By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one [the “Law”] obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.Christianity claims that all the laws of the sacrifice which in the Old Covenant which the blood of goats and calves and bulls have been voided , and the laws of Moses which came from Moses and not of God have been void , and the temple rituals which was a shadow of the anointing of Lord Jesus has been removed for the spirit , and the feast which were a shadow of Jesus to come are not need for the New Covenant , …..and the covenant of the blessing of house of Isaac for salvation has been removed for this is also a shadow of Jesus to come , as the New covenant is expanded for all men and woman in the earth who are obedient to Jesus commands ….See Jesus has fulfilled the promise which all is fulfilled , just remains is the great Judgment of the creation … The law that does remain is the law of sin and death which is contrary to the character of God and His purpose and essence , which will remain indefinitely.
A Jew’s comment: Forgive my bluntness (I just don’t know how else to say it) but the book of Hebrews is full of mistakes, intentional misquotes, and poses theological arguments against Scripture in order to promote the author’s doctrines. IMHO, one of his worst mistakes is that he takes all of the previous Covenants of God (which are separate and distinct) and he lumps them all together and says, “That’s the First Covenant.” And in the process of simplifying what God has spoken, he distorts it. Worse then that, he actually proclaims that they are not everlasting Covenants.
In this particular case he begins by quoting Jeremiah’s prophecy of the New Covenant. But the problem begins when he takes ONE WORD from the quotation (the word “new”) and he then argues against the entire prophecy by defining the word “new” into something else entirely. Jer 31 is very clear about what the “New” covenant is- that the Law of Moses will be renewed, only this time it will be written upon our hearts, rather than on stone. But that’s not what this author teaches.
His 2nd biggest mistake is his definition of a covenant in chap 9. A covenant is simply an agreement between God and man. But the author begins his argument by actually changing the definition of a covenant into a “Last Will and Testament,” and saying the New Covenant could not take effect until Jesus died.
The problem with this is, that’s a GREEK definition of the word ‘covenant’ …. not the Hebrew definition. Jeremiah is a Hebrew, using the Hebrew definition of covenant, proclaiming a Hebrew prophecy. The Hebrew definition has nothing to do with a will. A covenant is simply an agreement.
What makes a covenant with God so special, is there has to be a “cutting.” The expression “cut a deal” comes from this. Yes, Jesus’ death was a part of the covenant because blood came forth, the LIFE came forth. Circumcision is a CUTTING, and is the sign of the covenant with Abraham. It’s not the death, but the CUTTING… that’s the Hebrew definition. So the argument that’s made by the book of Hebrews is using a Greek definition to interpret a Hebrew concept.
Psalm 45, how it was misused by the NT writers:

The scholar’s partner is the nation of Israel who, to survive, must heed the words of its elders who are its true spiritual leaders. According to Malbim, the ‘king’ is the mind and the soul that rule the rest of the body. a) The Messiah’s throne would be everlasting Psalms 45:7-8a[6-7a] and Luke 1:31-33 :

instances in the Hebrew Bible of the phrase יהוה אֵ סִּ כּ) kiSE Y-H-V-H), the throne of the Lord. One is at Jeremiah 3:17, where it is a name by which Jerusalem will be known in the messianic era. The other is in the following passage:1Chronicles 29:23 – And Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord [יהוה אֵ סִּ כּ [as king instead of David his father, and he prospered, and all Israel obeyed him.
This shows that Solomon occupied his father’s throne, one that was established by God, but was not God’s own “seat” or “throne”. In His promise to King David, God said that He will establish the eternal (Davidic)
throne with him and continue it through his son Solomon:2Samuel 7:12-13,16 – (12) When your days are fulfilled, and you shall lie with your forefathers, then I will raise up your seed that shall issue from your body after you, and I will establish his kingdom. 13) He shall build a house for My Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

The annotated outline of Psalms 45 shown below helps to demonstrate that the Christian rendition is in error:

Consequently, the Christian translation of this verse, according to which it is about God, is ruled out.
The author of the “fulfillment” text attempts to connect Jesus, allegedly divine by virtue of being conceived of the Holy Spirit, with the throne of his “father” David. How could Jesus be of the line of King David if he was fathered by the Holy Spirit? According to the Hebrew Bible, which was the Scripture in force during the lifetime of Jesus and for years after his death, tribal pedigree is passed exclusively from a father to his male progeny. There also is no evidence in the New Testament, or in recorded history, that Jesus ever sat on any throne as a ruler of an earthly kingdom.Conclusion: Psalms 45:7-8a[6-7a] may be a valid “messianic prophecy”, though it remains unfulfilled.

In verse 2[1] the psalmist declares that his composition conveys his thoughts about an unnamed king. In the passage that follows, verses 3[2]-10[9], the psalmist directs his remarks at this king, and uses 2nd-person, singular, masculine gender conjugations of verbs and inflexions of nouns throughout. The psalmist is the speaker in verse 8[7], where he tells the king that, because of his (the king’s) righteousness, his (the king’s) God selected him for this leadership role.
The “fulfillment” text is in the midst of a collection of misquoted passages from the Christian “Old Testament”, which the author of the Letter to the Hebrews attempts to represent as God [“the Father”] speaking of His “Son” and declaring his divinity with his opening phrase of verse 8, “But unto the Son he saith”. In addition to this being a non-Biblical concept, and regardless of the context of the “fulfillment” text, a correct reading of the passage in Psalms 45 does not convey the idea that ַיחִ שָׁ מ is divine, an idea that would contradict what the Hebrew Bible teaches.
Conclusion: Psalms 45:7-8b[6-7b] is not a valid “messianic prophecy

Some Christians reply that the Luke 14:26 passage should not be taken literally. Furthermore, they assert that this passage is taken out of context and is an inaccurate translation. Ironically, their arguments confirm the Jewish teaching of not accepting passages on surface value without first applying careful examination of context and translation to obtain a correct understanding.
Please don’t misunderstand me I am not supporting any Jewish ideas here. I am only bringing the arguments from both sides to find the truth behind the deviations found in our NT. If there are no deviations on the concepts of God in the NT from its original source, the Hebrew Bible there will not be any difference of opinions on God and the Messiah. But the NT writers certainly made ambiguous statements on Jesus the supposed Messiah with his exalted role in the divine activity which is not found in the Hebrew Bible where God Yahweh alone is the author and the source.

Many wonder how Christians can be integrated into the twelve tribes of Israel. We find the explanation in this text: “… to be of the seed of Abraham, they are not all his children, but it is said: In Isaac will be named for you a seed, that is to say – to say that it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God but that it is the children of the promise who are regarded as the posterity “(Rom. 9: 7-8).

The apostle James addresses his letter to the Christians; however he uses this term: “to the twelve tribes which are in the scatter” (1: 1). These are the true people of God believing in Christ.
New Jerusalem is the city of Jesus Christ. On its doors are engraved the names of the twelve tribes of Israel and all who enter will pass through one of these doors. Jesus Himself was a “Jew at heart” and not only in appearance.
Why will God’s people be divided into twelve tribes? This is because each of them has a special character explained in Genesis 49: 1-28 and Deuteronomy 33: 6-24. It is all the members of each tribe who are ultimately among the winners with the 144,000. Of each tribe, only twelve thousand will be sealed.
And the others? They chose not to win. The tribe of Dan is totally absent. Obviously by his refusal to overcome the sin of backbiting. “Dan would be a serpent on the path, a viper on the path” (Gen. 49:16). Let us place ourselves among the winners! These can be a very large number.

GOD against the new testament. This case is presented:

EXODUS 20:1; And GOD spoke all this words saying.
What GOD spoke after this introduction mentioned above and which is written in Exodus 20 versicles 3 to 17 constitute THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, in other words The Sacred Orders of GOD that GOD wants that we fulfill and obey.
On this occasion I will refer specifically to the Sixth Commandment of GOD that says “You shall not kill” in Exodus 20:13, I will remark that this is an Order of GOD “You shall not kill”, the reason why I repeat these words is the following, according to the teachings of the christian religion and what is written in the new testament, GOD sent his son Jesus to be sacrificed [to be killed] so his blood would cleanse us from all sin [1 John 1:7- 1 John 4:10- Mathew 20:28- Mathew 26:28].
But this is absolutely false, absurd and inconceivable to proclaim that GOD sent Jesus to be sacrificed, because GOD gave us an order saying “You shall not kill” in the Sixth Commandment.
Regarding what the christian religion has always preached that Jesus is the only son of God, that statement is completely false, because in The Old Testament in the chapter of Genesis which is the first Chapter of The Bible, we can read the following:
Genesis 6:1; And it came to pass when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them.
Genesis 6:2; That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair, and they took them wives of all which they chose.
Genesis 6:4;…………………………………..when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
The sons of God referred here in the Chapter of Genesis were Angels of God, that is the reason why the children that the daughters of men bare to them became mighty men, because they were the sons of Angels therefore their strength was superior.
Thus the christian religion has been deceiving humankind, because Jesus was not the son of God as they have preached, the Angels are the divine sons of God, So the christian religion has been lying when they have been saying that Jesus was the son of God and he was the only one.
Concerning the order that God gave in the sixth Commandment which says “You shall not kill” that means that God would not accept a human sacrifice, besides that God hates human sacrifices.
In The Bible in DEUTERONOMY 12 versicles 30 and 31 there is a mention of those pagan practices that some nations that existed long time ago used to do it, and the following is written:
DEUTERONOMY 12:30;……………………. And that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, how did these nations serve their gods? Even so will I do likewise.
DEUTERONOMY 12:31; Thou shalt not do so unto THE LORD THY GOD, for every abomination to THE LORD, which HE hateth, have they done unto their gods, for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods [as a sacrifice].
God said that HE did not want human sacrifices because that was an abomination that HE hated. Therefore GOD never ever would have sent Jesus to be sacrificed, that is a big lie.
I will also say that in The Bible in the chapter of the prophet JEREMIAH it is written that when the people sacrificed their sons and their daughters, by burning them in the fire, GOD rejected those actions because that was something that HE had not commanded nor his heart had desired it.
JEREMIAH 7:31; And they have built the high places of tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.
Therefore that which is written in the new testament about the sacrifice of Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins is a big lie, because GOD never would have accepted a human being as a sacrifice, because that was an abomination that GOD hated.
Thus taking in consideration the high importance of The Ten Commandments of GOD and of the one that says “You shall not kill,” and what GOD said about human sacrifices, it is now perfectly clear that the writers of the new testament lied when they wrote that GOD sent Jesus to be sacrificed for the forgiveness of our sins.
In order to completely refute that false argument, I will say the following: According to the new testament, when Adam disobeyed GOD, sin entered the world, and all human beings were made sinners.
But that statement is absolutely false and it is not valid, because GOD said that every person is responsible for their own sins, and nobody else has to pay for the sins of others.
So it is written in DEUTERONOMY 24:16; The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers, every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
This precept of GOD is also confirmed in The Bible in the chapter of the prophet EZEQUIEL in:
EZEQUIEL18:20; The soul that sinneth, it shall die.The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son, the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
Thus when Adam committed the sin of disobeying GOD by eating the fruit of the forbidden tree, Adam is the only one responsible for that sin, and sin did not enter the world, because the world is not responsible for the sins of Adam, and all the other human beings are not responsible for the sin that Adam committed.
The only one responsible before GOD for that sin was ADAM, because GOD said that every person is responsible for their own sins, and the blame for the sins committed falls on the person that committed the sin, and no one else is to be blamed.
Regarding the forgiveness of sins, GOD instituted that one time every year there is a day [YOM KIPPUR] that HE have designated specially for that purpose of forgiving the sins, in 2019 that day begins October 8 before sunset and ends October 9 at nightfall, and GOD only asks for two requirements in order to grant the forgiveness of sins, and those two requirements are:
That the persons have to rest that day and they can not do any kind of work, and they have to fast and can not eat or drink anything. This way and with this effort the persons demonstrate to GOD that they are sincerely repentant for the sins that they have committed and GOD will forgive their sins, thus it is written in The Bible in:
LEVITICUS 16:29; And this shall be a statute for ever unto you, [YOM KIPPUR is for all eternity] that in the Seventh month [Jewish calendar], on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls [by fasting], and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you [YOM KIPPUR is for everybody]
LEVITICUS 16:30; For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before THE LORD.
LEVITICUS 16:31; It shall be a Sabbath of rest unto you, and you shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.
Also in the Bible in the chapter of the prophet ISAIAH it is written that GOD will forgive the persons that do not commit any more bad things and return to GOD, meaning this, that they will obey GOD and will act doing only what is just and right before the eyes of GOD.
ISAIAH 55:7; Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and let him return unto THE LORD, and HE will have mercy upon him, and to our GOD, for HE will abundantly pardon.
ISAIAH 55:8; For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways saith THE LORD.
Now to answer the main question of Who really owns the Title of “THE LORD,” in The Bible in the book of Psalms is the answer given by king David.
PSALM 72:18; Blessed be THE LORD GOD, the GOD of Israel who alone does wondrous things.
PSALM 72:19; And blessed be his glorious name for ever, and let the whole earth be filled with his glory; Amen and Amen.
And all of this that I have referred demonstrates without any doubt that the statements written in the new testament regarding Jesus are false and a big deceit, and there is no need for Jesus for the forgiveness of the sins or for anything else, because GOD the creator of heaven and earth is the ONE who can help us, as it is written in The Bible in the book of Psalms:
PSALM 121:1; I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
PSALM 121:2; My help cometh from THE LORD, which made heaven and earth.
ISAIAH 40:28; Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the Everlasting GOD, THE LORD, the creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
In the beginning GOD created heaven and earth, not Jesus, therefore if we need help the Only one that we have to ask for help is GOD, in order to ask GOD to help us we need to know what is the name of GOD, and GOD also told us what is his name in The bible in EXODUS 3:15 [written further ahead].
The statements of GOD written in The Bible are the ones that are genuine and valuable, and the ones that we have to take in consideration, not the false statements written in the new testament saying that Jesus had been sent to be sacrificed for the forgiveness of our sins, and many other false statements that were written in the new testament with the purpose of creating a new religion based on false statements and telling lies.
The writers of the new testament deceived humankind with the many lies that they wrote, because Jesus does not have a divine origin, the writers of the new testament by means of repeatedly and continually lying with what they wrote about Jesus, that way they posed Jesus as a divine son of GOD.
With regard to the story of the birth of Jesus written in the new testament, I will say the following, in the times of antiquity long before the birth of Jesus, were common the stories of supposed gods impregnating mortal women who gave birth to a divine son.
That is why the writers of the new testament came up with the idea of making up the story of the birth of Jesus through the Holy Spirit, and to try to give credibility to that false story they relied on a verse written in The Old Testament in Isaiah 7:14 and in that verse which was originally written in the Hebrew language, the following is spoken:
Isaiah 7:14; Therefore The Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, the young woman shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
That child mentioned in the verse of Isaiah was part of a history of antiquity in which, among other things, the following was mentioned:
Isaiah 7:15; Curd and honey he shall eat, when he knows to reject the bad and choose the good.
Isaiah 7:16; Yea before the child knows to reject the bad and choose the good, the land of the two kings that cause you fear shall be forsaken.And later when that story was translated from the Hebrew language into other languages, an error was committed in the translation of one phrase, the phrase that was erroneously translated was found in Isaiah 7:14; Behold, the “young woman,” which was translated as: Behold, a “virgin” so that in the wrong translation the complete sentence was read: Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Instead of: Behold, the young woman shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Thus, based on a wrong translation and a story that did not refer to Jesus at all, the new testament writers stole that verse from Isaiah 7:14 and made up the false story of the birth of Jesus through a virgin.
And so in the new testament in Matthew 1:20 and 21 it is written that Joseph the husband of Mary had a dream in which an angel told him that Mary would have a son who had been conceived by the holy spirit.
Then in Matthew 1:22 the following is written:
Matthew 1:22; Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet saying, Matthew 1:23; Behold, a virgin will be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel,
And the proof that this is a false story is that it has now been recognized that an error was made in translating the phrase “young woman” as the “virgin”
Therefore, the part of Matthew’s story that says: All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet saying. That is also a false statement, Because GOD never said anything about a virgin going to conceive a child. All of that is a false story that was made up to deceive humanity and manipulate them through a new false religion.
And they created a new religion with new rituals and new celebrations, with a false divine son of GOD at the head of that new religion. –
And because Jesus was not any divine son of GOD but all of that was a made up story, by logical consequence it is also not true that Jesus resurrected after he died, that is another false story added to the rest of the lies with which they created the so-called new testament.
But all of this is a deceit that was conceived with the purpose of taking control of the world, so they would be able to govern over humankind with a new religion and without having to resort to the use of weapons to achieve their obscure intentions.
And they were successful, for hundreds and hundreds of years the christian religion has been more powerful than all the other kingdoms that have existed in this world.BUT THE TRUE TEACHINGS OF GOD ARE THOSE FOUND IN THE OLD TESTAMENT.
WITHIN THE MAIN TEACHINGS OF GOD WRITTEN IN THE OLD TESTAMENT GOD WANTS US TO LEARN THE FOLLOWING ONES:
1; That we must have fear of GOD.
2; That we have to be obedient to GOD.
3; That we must fulfill the Commandments, Laws, and religious celebrations established by GOD in the Old Testament.
4; That we have to do only good and justice, only justice. Taking in consideration what GOD said in the Old Testament in:
JEREMIAH 17:9; The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked , who can know it?
JEREMIAH 17:10; I THE LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings
5; That we have to rule always having fear of GOD, remembering that GOD is watching us, so if we do bad things, if we govern the people in an unfair way, if we use the power to get wealth, if we abuse the people, if we don’t help the people to prosper and keep moving forward in life, then GOD will give us our deserved punishment, because there is no one that can escape the power of GOD.
6; That we have to help other human beings whenever they need help, and also help them to keep moving forward in life.
7; That we have to give a good education to our children, teaching them these precepts, good habits, and good manners, and punishing them when they behave badly, so they can learn to walk in the path of good, thus they will do what is right and just in life.
The purpose of the teaching to have fear of GOD is the following: If the people learns that they have to fear GOD because HE can punish them when they do bad things, then there would be less bad people doing bad things, and the world would be a better place to live.
These are the reasons why we have to fear GOD:
GENESIS 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, THE LORD appeared to Abram [ later GOD changed Abram’s name to Abraham] and said unto him, I AM THE ALMIGHTY GOD, walk before me, and be thou perfect [ meaning, live a life doing only what is just and right]
GOD is very powerful and HE does not like the people that do bad things because HE hates evil, and HE can punish any one that do bad things in any way HE wants to do it.
DEUTERONOMY 32: 39; See now that I, even I, AM HE, and there is no god with ME, I kill, and I make alive. I wound, and I heal, neither is any that can deliver out of my hand.
Those are very powerful statements declared by GOD, HE gives life and HE can take it away whenever HE wants, HE also can wound giving a sickness to some one or do whatever HE wants to any one, and there is no one that can deliver out of His hand.
And remember this, GOD created the world with His Power, so that can give you an idea of The Power of GOD.
Before the christian religion, since ancient times, GOD had established his true religion when HE spoke to the prophet Moses [ to whom GOD delivered The Ten commandments] and GOD told Moses all the rituals and the religious celebrations designated by GOD himself, and also the appointed times for those religious celebrations which should take place every year and forever in honor of GOD
But the christian religion abolished all the religious celebrations established by GOD, then going against the orders of GOD in The Second Commandment, they made a crucified idol, and they have deceived humankind making the people to worship that idol, which is prohibited by GOD in The following Second Commandment:
EXODUS 20:4; Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
EXODUS 20:5; Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them [to any idol], nor serve them.
GOD also gave us the order to keep the Seventh Day holy [ by not doing any kind of work in the Seventh Day ], and that order is The Fourth Commandment.
And the christian religion kept going against the orders of GOD in The Fourth Commandment, and they changed the holy Seventh Day of rest of GOD which was Saturday, and instituted Sunday [which was the first day of the week] as a day dedicated to worship the crucified idol, thus the christian religion has the people acting against the orders of GOD, and has them doing that which is not right in the eyes of GOD.
The christian religion disregarding and disobeying The Commandments of GOD has been misleading the people and has been taking the people away from the knowledge of the true word of GOD, his Commandments, precepts, laws, and religious celebrations, written in The Bible, in The Old Testament, not in the new testament.
The following is the Fourth Commandment:
EXODUS 20:8; Remember The Sabbath Day, to keep it holy.
EXODUS 20:9; Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
EXODUS 20:10; But the Seventh Day is the Sabbath of THE LORD thy GOD, in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
EXODUS 20:11; For in six days THE LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the Seventh Day, wherefore THE LORD blessed The Sabbath Day and hallowed.
PSALM 72:18 Blessed be THE LORD GOD, the GOD of Israel who alone does wondrous things.
THE WISEST OF ALL MAN THAT HAVE EXISTED IN THE WORLD, HAS BEEN KING SOLOMON, BECAUSE GOD HAD GIVEN HIM THAT WISDOM, WHEN ONE DAY SALOMON ASKED GOD TO GRANT HIM UNDERSTANDING, AND GOD LISTENED TO HIM AND GRANTED SALOMON GREAT WISDOM AS IT IS WRITTEN IN THE BIBLE IN:
1 KINGS 3:10; And the speech pleased THE LORD, that Solomon had asked this thing.
1 KINGS 3:11; And GOD said unto him, because thou hast asked this thing, and hast not asked for thyself long life, neither hast asked riches for thyself, nor hast asked the life of thine enemies, but hast asked for thyself understanding to discern judgment;
1 KINGS 3:12; Behold, I have done according to thy words: Lo, I have given thy a wise an understanding heart, so that there was none like thee before thee, neither after thee shall any arise like unto thee.
1 KINGS 4:29; And GOD gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much,
Therefore King Solomon knew perfectly well that THE ONLY ONE WHO REALLY IS GOD IS ONLY ONE as Solomon mentioned in The Bible in the following versicles:
1 KINGS 8:22; And Solomon stood before the altar of THE LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:
1 KINGS 8:23; And he said, LORD GOD of Israel, there is no God like Thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, Who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before Thee with all their heart.
Thus GOD said that there would never be another one equal to Solomon in wisdom, and with that wisdom that GOD gave to him, Salomon said that:
LORD GOD of Israel, there is no God like Thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath,
And Solomon also said the following regarding GOD.
1 KINGS 8:60; That all the people of the earth may know that THE LORD IS GOD, and that there is none else.
Regarding The Ten Commandments I will say the following: In the first four Commandments GOD gave us his orders concerning what the people has to do to respect Him.
In the other six Commandments GOD gave us his orders concerning how the people has to treat each other, and those Commandments are:
EXODUS 20:12; Honour thy father and thy mother: That thy days may be long upon the land which The Lord thy God giveth thee.
EXODUS 20:13; Thou shalt not kill.
EXODUS 20:14; Thou shalt not commit adultery.
EXODUS 20:15; Thou shalt not steal.
EXODUS 20:16; Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
EXODUS 20:17; thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.
In order to be successful with the plan of introducing a new religion the writers of the new testament completely eliminated 3 fundamental Commandments.
The first Commandment: Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.
The Second Commandment. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness or anything that is in the heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them [to any idol], nor serve them.
The Fourth Commandment: Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work, but The Seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God, in it thou shalt not do any work.
The writers of the new testament eliminated those fundamental 3 Commandments so the new christian religion was able to introduce Jesus who took the place of GOD in the new religion, also they were able to make an idol representing Jesus, and they made the people to kneel down before the idol, and they made the people to worship the idol on Sunday.
Thus by eliminating the fundamental Commandments where GOD give us his orders about how we must respect Him, that way the christian religion was able to be successful even when it was going against the orders of GOD in his Sacred First, Second, and Fourth Commandments.
In the next versicles of the chapter of Matthew found in the new testament is the proof that Jesus himself did not mention the fundamental Commandments regarding how we must respect GOD. We read about the time when a man asked Jesus the following question.
Matthew 19:16; And behold one came and said unto him [Jesus] good master, what thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?
Matthew 19:17; And he said unto him, why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is God, but if thou will enter into life keep the commandments.
Matthew 19:18; He said unto him, which? Jesus said, thou shalt do no murder, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness,
Matthew 19:19 honour thy father and thy mother, and thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself [Jesus also did not mention the Tenth Commandment, in which GOD orders us not to covet anything that belongs to our neighbor, in Exodus 20:17
Matthew 19:20 The young man said unto him, all these things have I kept from my youth up, what lack I yet,
Matthew 19:21; Jesus said unto him, if thou will be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor and thou shalt have treasure in heaven, and come and follow me.
Jesus only mentioned to the man the commandments regarding how we have to act with each other, but did not mention at all the fundamental commandments regarding how we must respect GOD, and those commandments include The Third Commandment in Exodus 20:7 where it is written as follows:
EXODUS 20:7; Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
If Jesus truly would have been a respectful son of God as he pretended to be, then Jesus would have mentioned to the man The Fundamental Commandments regarding GOD, in which GOD gave us his orders about how we must respect Him.
But Jesus wanted for himself the honor and the glory that belongs only to GOD, that is the reason why Jesus said to the man, come and follow me, instead of telling the man the fundamental commandments regarding what the people has to do to respect GOD.
By Jesus completely ignoring GOD with the answer he gave to the man, Jesus demonstrated that he really did not love GOD nor respected Him. And that which Jesus said to the man about love your neighbor as yourself and giving to the poor, that was nothing new, that was written first in The Old Testament in:
DEUTERONOMY 15:11; For the poor shall never cease out of the land, therefore I command thee, saying, thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor and to thy needy in the land.
LEVITICUS 19:18; Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, I am The Lord [ when GOD said I am The Lord, the meaning of that is, you should obey what I am saying because I am GOD].
Let’s remember one more time what King David said about The Lord.
PSALM 72:18; Blessed be The Lord God, The GOD of Israel who alone does wondrous things.
PSALM 72:19 And blessed be his glorious name for ever, and let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and Amen
Thus it is perfectly clear That there is only One who is The Lord, The Lord God of Israel.
And Solomon with the wisdom that GOD gave to him told the truth about GOD;
1 KINGS 8:23; And he said, LORD GOD of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, Who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before Thee with all their heart.
1 KINGS 8:60; That all the people of the earth may know that THE LORD IS GOD, and that there is none else.
Regarding Jesus there are other things that Jesus really said, and those things are a manifest to the true character of Jesus, as it is written in the new testament in:
Matthew 10:34; Think not that I am come to send peace on earth, I came not to send peace, but a sword [ in ancient times the sword was a weapon that people used in the war].
GOD gave us His Commandments so that we could live in peace with each other, but Jesus said he did not come to send peace on earth, he wanted to send a sword to the world, and it has been one war after another, ever since Jesus came, so he accomplished what he wanted, to send the sword to earth.
Jesus also said the following: Matthew 10:37; He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me, and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Those words expressed by Jesus denoted that Jesus was an extremely arrogant man, and judging by the words he spoke to the people is obvious that he had delusions of grandeur.
Other awful things that Jesus said are written in the chapter of Luke in the new testament:
Luke 14:25; And there were great multitudes with him, and he turned, and said unto them,
Luke 14:26: If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
Clearly those were the words of a very disturbed man, a maniac that wanted to control and manipulate the persons that listened to him, in that occasion Jesus also decided to preach against the Fifth Commandment in Exodus 20:12, in which GOD says to us: Honour thy father and thy mother.
Because one way to honor your father and your mother is by loving them and taking care of them.
Jesus also lied when he preached about GOD because Jesus made statements that were not true, as in the following versicle found in the new testament:
John 5:37; And the father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me.Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
BUT IN THE OLD TESTAMENT WE CAN READ THE TRUTH:
EXODUS 19:17; And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with GOD, and they stood at the nether part of the mount.
EXODUS 19:18; And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because THE LORD descended upon it in fire, and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
EXODUS 19:19; And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and GOD answered him by a voice.
EXODUS 24:9; Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel.
EXODUS 24:10; And they saw THE GOD of Israel, end there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
And Jesus said about GOD, Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
But the true facts are that Moses and the people around the mount heard the voice of GOD, and Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu and seventy of the elders of Israel saw GOD, THE GOD of Israel.
Therefore that which is written in The Old Testament is an irrefutable proof that Jesus lied when he preached about himself and about GOD.
Now I will say the following, regarding the date for the celebration of christmas, in times of antiquity the Romans had a pagan festival celebrating the birthday of the sun god mithra on December 25, and later the christian religion established December 25 as the date for the birth of Jesus, but that is false because in the new testament there is not a written date for the birth of Jesus, the christian religion deliberately had chosen December 25 and attributed that date to the birth of Jesus just because it was a popular date.
But there is an authentic traditional festival called Chanukah or the festival of lights which has been celebrated for more than 2100 years, this festival was implemented in the times of antiquity after the Jews defeated the army of the evil king Antiochus who made war against the Jews and wanted to make them to worship pagan gods.
When the Jews defeated the army of Antiochus they removed the pagan idols that the soldiers of Antiochus by means of force had placed in The Temple of GOD in Jerusalem, then The Temple was cleaned and purified and the Jews wanted to light the sacred candelabrum of GOD which has 7 branches and is called The Menorah [GOD had previously told Moses to make this candelabrum and told him how to make it].
When the Jews wanted to light The Menorah they found only a small jar of pure olive oil with the seal of the high priest, it was just enough to light The Menorah for one day, but miraculously it continued to burn for eight days, till they were able to make more oil for The Menorah. Later the festival of Chanukah was instituted and a Menorah with 9 branches was created for the festival of Chanukah which commemorates the rededication of The Holy Temple of GOD that was standing in Jerusalem.
The festival of Chanukah is also a reminder to the fact that it is very important that we must always fight against evil and injustice wherever they are, until we can achieve that righteousness, truth, and that which represents good in a determinate situation triumphs and prevails.
Chanukah is celebrated for 8 consecutive days, this year 2019 beginning in the evening of Sunday December 22 and ending in the evening of Monday December 30 and it is the custom to give one gift every day, any kind of gift according to your budget.
GOD our Creator is watching us from heaven, so HE will be pleased if we all celebrate the authentic festival of Chanukah which commemorates something really valuable as it was the rededication of the temple of GOD. Happy Chanukah to all.
And it is prophesied in The Old Testament in the chapter 43 of the prophet Ezekiel that one day the Holy Third Temple will be rebuild in Jerusalem and it will be there forever.
In the visions of GOD Ezekiel was taken to the land of Israel, and he was set upon a very high mountain by which was as the frame of a city on the south, and behold there was a man whose appearance was like the appearance of brass.
That man was an angel, and he was there to show Ezekiel all the details of The Temple, for the time when the Temple would be rebuild.
Chapter 43 of Ezekiel
EZEKIEL 43:1; Afterward he [the angel] brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:
EZEKIEL 43:2; And. behold, the glory of THE GOD of Israel came from the way of the east, and his voice was like a noise of many waters, and the earth shined with his glory.
EZEKIEL 43:4; And the glory of The LORD came into the house [The Temple ] by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
EZEKIEL 43:5; So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court, and behold, the glory of The LORD filled the house [ The Temple ].
EZEKIEL 43:6; And I heard Him [ GOD ] speaking unto me out of the house [ The Temple ], and the man stood by me.
EZEKIEL 43:7; And he [ GOD ] said unto me, son of man, the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel forever,
For it to be fully demonstrated that Jesus was a huge liar, I will say the following: Jesus told his disciples what is written in the new testament in:
Mark 9: 1; And he [Jesus] said unto them, verily I say unto you, that there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, til they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.
That which Jesus told his disciples was not fulfilled at all, since none of those who lived at that time saw the Kingdom of God come with power as Jesus assured them.
And yet until now the Kingdom of GOD has not been established on earth, because in the Bible in the Old Testament is written about what things would be like when the Kingdom of God was established on earth, and we can read the following in:
Isaiah 2:2; And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.Isaiah 2:3; And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Isaiah 2:4; And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
Psalm 86:9; All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship thee, O Lord; and shall glorify thy name.
Psalm 86:10; For thou art great, and doest wondrous things, thou art God alone.
It is written there in Isaiah 2: 2 that the mountain of the House of the Lord shall be established in the top of the mountains, this refers to the place in Jerusalem where the Temple of GOD will be built, and this is confirmed by reading what is written in Isaiah 2: 3 where it is written this: let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the House of the God of Jacob. Because in the chapter of the prophet Ezekiel it is written about The House of God, meaning the Temple that should be built in Jerusalem.
It is also written in Isaiah 2: 4 that the people will not learn war anymore.
And in Psalm 86: 9 we can read that the nations will go and worship GOD [to the Temple of GOD in Jerusalem].So this is about the Kingdom of God on earth, and none of this has been fulfilled since Jesus died, therefore when we read the truth about the Kingdom of God on earth we can realize that Jesus deceived the people who heard him preach falsehoods, so Jesus and the writers of the so-called new testament are all great liars. Then, will you continue to follow those who have been lying to you and deceiving you all the time?
In ancient times the Jews were the ones who knew the truth about who is The Only One that really is GOD, because GOD unveiled to the Jews that He was GOD, as it is written in The Bible in The Old Testament:
EXODUS 3:15; And GOD said moreover unto Moses, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, THE LORD GOD of your fathers, THE GOD of Abraham, THE GOD of Isaac, and THE GOD of Jacob hath sent me unto you: This is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.
When GOD told Moses the previous declaration, the egyptians had the Jews in captivity, and GOD sent 10 plagues against the egyptians and forced them to free the Jews, later in the Sinai mountain, from the top of the mountain, GOD told the Jews HE was GOD, and HE was The ONE who had brought them out of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
And GOD spoke The Ten Commandments from the top of the mountain, and The first One states the following:
EXODUS 20:3; Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
So who are you going to believe? the writers of the new testament and all of their lies and false statements, or GOD himself Who has declared the truth from the beginning in The Old Testament, saying as follows:
DEUTERONOMY 32:39; See now that I, even I, am He, and there is no god with Me: I kill and I make alive, I wound and I heal, neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
DEUTERONOMY 32:40; For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live for ever.
ISAIAH 40:25 To whom then will ye liken Me, or shall I be equal? saith THE HOLY ONE.
ISAIAH 40:26; lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number, He calleth them all by names by the Greatness of his might, for that He is strong in power, not one faileth.
ISAIAH 44:6; Thus saith THE LORD THE KING of Israel, and His Redeemer, THE LORD of Hosts, I AM THE FIRST, AND I AM THE LAST, and beside ME there is no god.
ISAIAH 44:7; And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for ME, since I appointed the ancient people, and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.
ISAIAH 44:8; Fear ye not, neither be afraid: Have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses, is there a god beside ME? yea, there is no god; I know not any.

In the Bible in The Old Testament GOD let us know that after human beings die, He brings them back to life so they can live once again in this world that we dwell, so it is written in:
EZEKIEL 37:6; And I will lay sinews upon you, and I will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you shall live, and you shall know that I am The Lord.
EZEKIEL 37:14; And I shall put my spirit [the breath of life] in you, and you shall live, and I shall place you in your own land, then you shall know that I The Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith The Lord.
JEREMIAH 32:27; Behold, I am The Lord, The GOD of all flesh, is there any thing too hard for me?
One more of the big lies that the christian religion has always preached is that Jesus is the Messiah [The chosen one of GOD] , but that is absolutely false, because in the Bible in The Old Testament GOD Himself let us know who is his chosen one the one that would be the shepherd of his flock, and GOD mentioned his name and it is not the name of Jesus.
But what GOD spoke about his chosen one is the following:
EZEKIEL 34:22; Therefore I will save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; And I will judge between cattle and cattle.
EZEKIEL 34:23; And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David, he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.
EZEKIEL 34:24; And I The Lord will be their GOD, and my servant David a prince among them, I The Lord have spoken it.
In the following versicle of the prophet Jeremiah written in The Old Testament we can confirm that when GOD spoke saying that He will set up a shepherd for his flock and that shepherd would be his servant David, GOD was speaking about he who had been king David.
JEREMIAH 30:9; But they shall serve The Lord their GOD, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
King David had passed away in the year 970 BC, and the prophets Jeremiah and Ezekiel lived and prophesied more than 300 years after king David had passed away, therefore when GOD communicated to the prophets Jeremiah and Ezekiel that He would set up his servant David as the shepherd of his flock, that means without any doubt that GOD would bring back he who was king David back to life so he would be the shepherd of his flock.
Thus it is now perfectly clear that Jesus is not the chosen one of GOD to be the shepherd of his flock, David is the true chosen one of GOD, the Messiah, the shepherd of the flock of GOD.
And truly I give thanks to GOD with all my hearth because He brought me back to life so I can speak about His Greatness and great Power and infinite Glory, and also so I can give GOD the recognition and honor that He deserves as our only one absolute GOD ETERNAL and Supreme King, praised be GOD, the GOD of Abraham, the GOD of Isaac and the GOD of Jacob for ever and ever, for all centuries, and for all eternity without end, HalleluYah Amen and Amen, thus it has been, thus it is, thus it will be.
Therefore it is absolutely necessary that we give praise, honor and glory to The Only GOD that lives for ever THE ETERNAL GOD of Abraham, GOD of Isaac, and GOD of Jacob, our GOD and our Creator.
PSALM 150:1; Praise you THE LORD, praise GOD in His Sanctuary, praise HIM in the firmament of his power,
PSALM 150: 2; praise HIM for His mighty acts, praise HIM according to his excellent greatness,

Now that I have explained the facts about Jesus and the christian religion, you have one very important decision to make, who are you going to follow? a disturbed man called Jesus that said he did not come to send peace on earth but a sword, and who also said that you are not worthy of him if you love your father and mother, or your son and daughter more than him, who also wanted that the man that followed him had to hate their mother and father, wife, brethren and sisters, sons and daughters.
Are you still going to follow Jesus knowing that he had a twisted mind, or are you going to follow The One Who really truly is GOD. a GOD that loves Justice and hates evil, The GOD that gave us The Ten Commandments so we could live in peace with each other, The GOD that created us and the entire world, The GOD that was The GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the ancestors of the Jews, as GOD Himself mentioned in:
EXODUS 3:15; And God said moreover unto Moses, thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, THE LORD GOD of your fathers, THE GOD of Abraham, THE GOD of Isaac, and THE GOD of Jacob hath sent me unto you: This is my name for ever and this is my memorial unto all generations.
Do you wonder why things never change, and even though you keep asking Jesus everything is the same, and in the world evil and injustice reigns, and millions of people suffer daily from being in poverty, all this happens because we have been away from GOD, because the christian religion with its false teachings has deviated us from knowing GOD and His true Word, and they have made the people to ask for help and to pray to a simple crucified idol that is not GOD and has no power whatsoever to help or to fix any situation, that is why the world is in such bad condition.
And if we want things to change, and if we want to really see an improvement in our lives, then we should ask for help from Him Who truly is GOD and really has the power to help us get ahead in life.
It is the only way that our lives can improve and we all can have a better future guided by GOD.
Therefore make your choice now, and take in consideration what was said by The Only One Who really truly is GOD.

To prove the virgin birth, Matthew incorrectly quotes the prophet Isaiah and states, “Behold a virgin shall be with child and shall bear a son and they shall call His name Immanuel.” [Matthew 1:23] But Isaiah actually wrote, “Behold the young woman is with a child and shall bear a son and she will call His name Immanuel.” [Isaiah 7:14]

The commonly held view that “virgin” is Christian, whereas “young woman” is Jewish is not quite true. The fact is that the Septuagint, which is the Jewish translation made in pre-Christian Alexandria, takes almah to mean “virgin” here. Accordingly, the New Testament follows Jewish interpretation in Isaiah 7:14. Therefore, the New Testament rendering of almah as “virgin” for Isaiah 7:14 rests on the older Jewish interpretation, which in turn is now borne out for precisely this annunciation formula by a text that is not only pre-Isaianic but is pre-Mosaic in the form that we now have it on a clay tablet.6
Jewish and Christian scholars would be hard pressed to deny that the Greek term parthenos and the Hebrew term almah may have been used interchangeably by those Jewish communities that adopted the Septuagint.On the other hand, J. Gresham Machen, who has done a definitive study on this passage, asserts that the translation in the Septuagint of the Hebrew word almah as parthenos cannot be used to show a Jewish doctrine of the virgin birth, for one also finds the word parthenos used in the Septuagint to translate the word na’arah, which merely means “young girl.”
A Credible Account
For Machen, the very fact that the passage does not have a history of Jewish messianic interpretation and the very unlikelihood of this passage being interpreted messianically makes the New Testament account all the more credible. In other words, the gospel writer, Matthew, was not trying to fit Jesus’ life into a traditional mold, but rather turned to Scripture to explain what had taken place in the event of the virgin birth.
One cannot assert that the prophet was speaking of a virgin technically on the basis of the word almah. Nor can a serious student lightly dismiss the word as having no possible reference to a miraculous conception.

Hi Carmel, J. Gresham Machen was a Christian Apologist and a Fundamentalist. What can we expect from him except up holding the NT writings. He himself accepted that Isaiah 7:14 was not Messianic but he claimed the credibility of Matthew’s Virgin Birth. What an irony?
