Are parents the primary spiritual teachers of their kids?
Do you know what they are being taught by others you entrust them to?

Yes I did know, that is why we home schooled, one of our better decisions we made, I highly recommend it. Our teenage son still hangs out with mom and dad, and says he loves us (even in public).

Nick, parents that do not know what others teach their children, would not be the primary teachers.

TO ALL………..”Train up a child in the way He should go, and when he is old he will not depart”, We as Parents are supposed to train our childern and teach them to be honest and not lie or steal, and to respect and Love GOD and Man. Teaching them to be KIND and considerate to all, and to be patient, to Honor the aged, and be more willing to listen then to speak. These qualities need to be taught in the home, but many depend on the public schools to teach them, and in this way denying their childern the needed training. IMO

I agree with Seekingtruth! Home schooling has been a great adventure. My husband and I have been home schooling now for 20 plus years and we know what our kids have been taught, in fact I think I'm 'smarter than a 5th grader' because of it…LOL.
