Cannot post to forums

Hi everyone.

I have had to suspend posting to the forums for a time, at the web host providers request. Apparently the forums are opening up too many connections on the server. So they have asked me for a resolution and in the meantime by not allowing posts, it will halt these connections till I work through a resolution.

Some possible solutions I am looking at will be:

• moving the forums to another server;
• converting the forums to another board such as PHPBB;
• writing some code in the existing board to stop this problem.
