    Hi Lu,

Prophecy speaks of a man being anointed with God’s Spirit to be sent to set us at liberty.

This man says that he could do nothing of himself.

The Spirit is life because of righteousness, and this man received the Spirit and is said to have been called to righteousness. Because of his righteousness he could not be held to the penalty of sin death, he was deserving of life. You can’t have eternal life without the eternal Spirit abiding in you bringing forth righteousness, of which Jesus received upon being risen from the dead. He received it according to a promise, as God promised before the world began eternal life.

Lu, you ever wonder why God would forgive all sins through ONE MAN?

He did so out of justice, as no other mortal man but him was called to righteousness.

The anointed Jesus is proof that the One Spirit in fullness causes obedience, why God forgives us of our sins through Jesus Christ and then raises us up to receive that same measure of the Spirit. If Jesus was not a mortal human like us then our salvation through God is lost, the gospel that began with Jesus’s anointing is dead.

Lu, what do you think being heirs of God, joint heirs with Christ if we suffer with him, means?

If we are joint heirs with Jesus Christ and it says that we are Sons by being led by the Spirit that makes Jesus Christ a Son for being led by the Spirit. If we are children of God as the Spirit is a witness to our spirit that we are, the same thus is true for Jesus who was anointed with the Spirit.

John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Matthew 20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

Romans 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.

ONE MAN was anointed with God’s Spirit not by measure SENT being led by the Spirit of God, TO SET US AT LIBERTY. This was the only man begotten of God’s Spirit, the son of David raised up to be a savior according to a promise.

All these son of man scriptures do not detract from the son of God scriptures and the fact that God created the cosmos through him. That he is the Word that was with God and was in the glory he is in now before the cosmos does not detract from him being the son of man. You see, he came in the flesh. Emptied himself and became lower than the angels for a time and was obedient unto death. Death on a cross so that we could live.

Quoting the son of man scriptures over and over and over changes these truths not. Even the spam filter is suspicious of you Jodi. Lol.

T8…..Evidently you seem to not understand the words  “by one “man”,  very well, it does not say by a another God or prexisting being, morphed into a flesh man, as you fasely teach and supose, now does it?  Jodi is apsolutely right in what she posted. She as well as I can back it up with many, many, many, scriptures, which we have done over and over here.

There is no way Jesus could have quilified to be the payment for our sins , had he not been 100% a human being comming from mankind himself.  Yours and others smoking mirriors religion won’t work on those who have the spirit of truth in them.  The “Spirit of Truth”, testifies with our Spirit “exactly who Jesus is”, he is a product of mankind, even himself saying over 80 times, he was a,  “SON OF MAN”.

Jesus  simply had to be from mankind  inorder to truly qualify to take away our sins. Just that simple.  “by man sin entered into the world and by man it is attoned for”  just that simple, nothing complicated about it.

Peace and love to you and yours. …………gene

    Hi t8,

You need to keep scripture straight,

3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: 7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; 8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. 9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

A HUMAN was MADE by the LORD a little lower than the angels. This human receives dominion over the works of God, not his own works.

    Keep it straight,

FIRST you have a Son of man, THEN you have God become a Father unto him.

1 Chronicles 17:11 And it shall come to pass, when thy days be expired that thou must go to be with thy fathers, that I will raise up thy seed after thee, which shall be of thy sons; and I will establish his kingdom. 12 He shall build me an house, and I will stablish his throne for ever. 13 I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee:

    t8,

Look at the son of David who is raised from the dead. He is said to have been raised receiving the promised Holy Spirit, raised being BEGOTTEN BY GOD. He is raised a first begotten of the dead.

Why is this begetting of the Holy Spirit upon the resurrected man Jesus different than his previous begetting?

It is NOT except for “concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.”

It is TRUE that Jesus was the ONLY MORTAL MAN to have been begotten of the Spirit not by measure, and the moment he received it God declared “THIS is my beloved Son”. Then we see this Son being SENT by God for the purpose TO preach God’s word and to deliver captives, set us at liberty.

    Hi All,

Without Jesus’s anointing there IS NO Son of God, no Son that performs signs and miracles, no Son that preaches God’s word, and no Son able to set us at liberty.

John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.

The Son is he who received the Spirit of God without measure, Jesus of Nazareth.

Jesus recognizes himself as the Son of God because of the anointing Spirit upon him, as do others. He is a Son of God according to prophecy, the son of David who God becomes a Father to and makes him a king over Israel.

3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.50 Jesus answered and said unto him,Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. 51 And he saith unto him,Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him,O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? 32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased. 33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.

69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God70 Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them,Ye say that I am.

18 No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

Jesus was the only mortal man begotten of the Spirit SENT to DECLARE GOD, he came in God’s name to speak God’s words and to do God’s works.

3 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost. 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.

25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

There is NO Son to hear without the man who is begotten of God’s Spirit that speaks God’s words, and as you are told those who do not hear the words of the prophet whom God raised up among brethren will be destroyed.

Jodi, who do you think Abraham is having a face to face conversation with in this passage:

    Genesis 18

22And the men turned from thence, and went toward Sodom: but Abraham stood yet before Jehovah. 23And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou consume the righteous with the wicked? 24Peradventure there are fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou consume and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? 25That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked, that so the righteous should be as the wicked; that be far from thee: shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? 26And Jehovah said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sake. 27And Abraham answered and said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord, who am but dust and ashes: 28peradventure there shall lack five of the fifty righteous: wilt thou destroy all the city for lack of five? And he said, I will not destroy it, if I find there forty and five. 29And he spake unto him yet again, and said, Peradventure there shall be forty found there. And he said, I will not do it for the forty’s sake. 30And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: peradventure there shall thirty be found there. And he said, I will not do it, if I find thirty there. 31And he said, Behold now, I have taken upon me to speak unto the Lord: peradventure there shall be twenty found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for the twenty’s sake. 32And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak yet but this once: peradventure ten shall be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for the ten’s sake. 33And Jehovah went his way, as soon as he had left off communing with Abraham: and Abraham returned unto his place.

    Hi Lu,

Abraham is talking to our One God the Father Yah.

Our heavenly Father is the only true God and He is Lord, King, and Judge overall the earth. Jesus rules on earth in the name of God UNTIL all enemies are destroyed and God is all in all, and then God himself comes down from heaven and rules among us. (FYI this Jesus who rules is said to be a man raised from the dead according to an order where he was the first man raised)

Jesus is our One God the Father’s servant a man who was called to execute God’s purpose. To execute that purpose God appointed him as a lord of lords, a king over kings, and a judge over judges. He does not execute God’s purpose alone, God is with him directing all his ways, as Jesus of himself he can do nothing.

Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them,Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration (NEW BIRTH) when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

    Lu,

Jesus the son of man, the son of Jesse who is filled with God’s Spirit does NOT judge by his own eyes and ears (Isaiah 11:3), the Spirit upon him is righteousness and it is upon him to lead him in righteous judgement. That Spirit gives him wisdom, understanding, knowledge and Fear (respect, reverence) of Yah, so that he can be the man God said would execute His purpose that God had declared from the beginning.

    Hi Lu and All,

Jesus has his own name Jesus, and he asks us to pray to our heavenly Father telling us that hallowed is HIS NAME.

Matthew 9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

Our heavenly Father has HIS OWN NAME, He is Yah from the OT and He speaks giving prophecy of a man who will come, a man whom Yah will call to righteousness for to be for a light.

Psalm 118:25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. 26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD. 27 God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar. 28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. 29 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Mark 10:18 And Jesus said unto him,Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

Acts 13:34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, HE SAID on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.

13 I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: 14 But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.

    MERCY – Checed, GOODNESS

Jesus is NOT Yah, our One God the Father IS.

Jesus is the son of David who RECEIVES MERCY from our One God the Father.

The son of David does not come from God’s house, from God’s kingdom down to earth to be a son of David.

Keep the text straight and don’t make God into a liar.

The son of David is made into God’s son and God promises to settle him in His house and in His kingdom.

David’s son is raised from the dead receiving the Holy Spirit, receiving the goodness God promised of David, and he is the son of man who is exalted to sit at God’s right hand in His house.

Lu, the Christ sits on his father David’s throne according to the flesh, and he is a Son of God according to the Spirit. Jesus was raised where his flesh was not allowed to see decay, he was raised IN GLORY, IN POWER, INCORRUPTIBLE, receiving the promised Holy Spirit. He was raised up being begotten by God to exist in God’s image for all eternity.

He is God’s word of eternal life promised unto mankind made true in his flesh.

We see in Jesus God’s WORD made true, and we are to believe that we are JOINT HEIRS with Christ, and the unity of our faith is to believe that Jesus is a Son of God as a perfect man by the measure and stature of an anointing of God’s Spirit. When we are said to be JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST, we are said to be Sons of God as we are LED by the Spirit of God, which Jesus the Anointed was. When we are said to be JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST, we are said to be children of God through the Spirit being a witness to our spirit that we are, which Jesus the Anointed was also.

He is a firstborn of many having received the Spirit being begotten by God upon him being raised from the dead, why we read in Ezekiel 36,

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. 28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Ephes 2:5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us TOGETHER WITH Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

    Jodi,

Thank you for your answer and I agree that Abraham spoke to “Yah” face to face in Gen 18. I’m not sure how you justify that no man has seen God at any time though.

You said in a previous post:

The Spirit is life because of righteousness, and this man received the Spirit and is said to have been called to righteousness. Because of his righteousness he could not be held to the penalty of sin death, he was deserving of life. You can’t have eternal life without the eternal Spirit abiding in you bringing forth righteousness, of which Jesus received upon being risen from the dead. He received it according to a promise, as God promised before the world began eternal life.

Are you saying that there was a time when Jesus was unrighteous? If so, can you show that in scripture?

    Hi Carmel,

Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; 25 Neither is worshipped with men’s hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation; 27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

28-29 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device.

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: 31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. 32 And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter.

Luke 3: 38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

We all come from Adam thus are sons of God, by God we are His offspring as through him we live, and move, and have our being.

Jesus in Acts is the MAN ordained of God to judge the quick and the dead. In Acts we read that this God made heaven and earth, and that He made of one blood all nations of men and had determined the times before appointed of the bounds of their habitations. Jesus is one of those men!

Where the Spirit is there is LIFE, the Spirit is LIFE BECAUSE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Adam and Eve were not called to righteousness, they were given a law that they were not capable of following, “for the carnal mind is not subject to the law nor indeed can be”. Man can do nothing of himself, he is not capable of his own to follow even one letter of the law. In order to love God or love your brother you must be born of God with the Spirit of love. In order to have kindness you must be born of God with the Spirit of kindness. In order to have godly wisdom you must be born of God with the Spirit of wisdom.

The purpose of the commandment given to Adam and Eve, and then the law that was given to Moses and Israel was to expose the weakness of the carnal mind and make God’s power of His Spirit known. Commandments give knowledge of that which is good, but the commandments given do not themselves produce righteousness, as we of our own selves are not capable of following the law, sin and thus death is inevitable.

God is not the God of the dead but of the living, likewise thus our One God the Father is not the Father of the dead but of the living. We are all of a carnal mind as Adam, to be carnally minded is death, and by such we are seen as dead children.

We must be born again, of water and of the Spirit.

CHRIST teaches us how one is capable of following the law, you must be born of the Spirit. To follow all of God’s commands you must receive all of the Spirit by such sin and death is conquered. JESUS of Nazareth was called to righteousness, he received the Spirit not by measure. He was a born born of water and of the Spirit leaving the river Jordan having been filled with the Spirit and was led by the Spirit. The anointed man Jesus being raised from the dead, as he could not be held to the penalty of death because no sin was found in him, is our hope, because if God could accomplish through His Spirit in him righteousness and life, God can do the same unto us.

Believing Jesus is God who came to earth to save us is NOT unto us our salvation.

Believing that Jesus was a man anointed with God’s Spirit which caused righteousness and thus his eternal life is unto our salvation. As we believe he rose from the dead and received the promised Holy Spirit for all eternity, him being begotten by God, our faith is in the operation of God that He will do the same unto us, for we believe we are JOINT HEIRS with Christ.

Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

of whom  are all (SPIRITS)things, and we unto him:

    and one Lord Jesus Christ,

    BY WHOM

are all (PHYSICAL ) things, and we (HUMANS) by him.

    Hi Lu,

YOU: Thank you for your answer and I agree that Abraham spoke to “Yah” face to face in Gen 18. I’m not sure how you justify that no man has seen God at any time though.

ME: Abraham spoke to Yah but not literally face to face. God cannot be in the presence of man unless He is ALL IN, why He is not coming down from heaven to dwell among us until that happens.

Hebrews 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

YOU: Are you saying that there was a time when Jesus was unrighteous? If so, can you show that in scripture?

ME: I am not saying that there was a time that Jesus was unrighteous. Jesus was indeed a righteous/just man before his calling, like that of Simeon, John, Zacharias, Elisabeth..etc.

It was prophesied that Jesus would be a child that would know to refuse the evil and choose the good.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. 15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

He grew having God’s grace upon him,

Luke 2:40 And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.

When Jesus was about thirty years old he was called by God to be sent out to preach God’s word, to perform signs and miracles, and to deliver captives out of darkness.

Jesus said the Spirit was upon him an anointing. He was the son of Jesse GIVEN the Spirit of Wisdom, Council and Might, Knowledge and Fear of the LORD. First you have a man and then he is Chrio (to anoint) becoming the Christos (anointed).

God gave Jesus a mission and to carry out all of God’s commands He needed to direct all His ways, and such was a calling of him to righteousness. Jesus said that he needed to be baptized to fulfill all righteousness.

Ephesians 5:9 For the fruit of the Spirit is in ALL goodness and righteousness and truth.

Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

John 3:34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.

2 Corinthians 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin. ..8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the CHILDREN of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

Jesus’s birth is our birth, as he was born of God we are born of God. All of God’s human children are created in the same manner.

John 3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him,Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

5 Jesus answered,Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Lu, was not Jesus born of blood, born having his own will which he expresses when he asks God to take this cup from him? Was it not his BLOOD that was shed on the cross? YES, he shed his blood and he did so because he had been born again of the Spirit at the river Jordan.

COME ON! Jesus was a man of flesh and blood and the Spirit came to abode upon him where at that moment God declared him to be His Son. This anointing of the Spirit WAS GOD’S WORD from the prophet Isaiah made true in his flesh, where he was FILLED with grace and truth. The only mortal man begotten of the Spirit not by measure. Jesus was not sent to speak the truth until he was anointed with the Spirit. He was filled with the Spirit to speak God’s truth.  You are told in Acts that Christ hadn’t COME until after the baptism John preached.

John 1: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Lu apply scripture with scripture In John 1 the Son of God is identified as David’s son whom God would be a Father to and make him an eternal king over Israel. First you have a son of David a human born of blood, and THEN that son is BORN AGAIN of water and of the Spirit. Jesus said to fulfill all righteousness he needs to be baptized, where he is immersed in water and then we see the Spirit descend upon him and he is declared the Son of God. Also in John 1 Jesus is identified as the LIGHT who came to his own and his own rejected him. That LIGHT is the son of Jesse who received God’s Spirit, was called to righteousness to have God hold his hand and keep him for to fulfill God’s covenant and be a LIGHT.

John 1:49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. 50 Jesus answered and said unto him,Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. 51 And he saith unto him,Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

    Back to John 3,

12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?

Below is prophecy of the Son of Man who is exalted ascending to heaven to sit at God’s right hand and then he is to descend from heaven in the glory of our Father. He first must be lifted up to be crucified, and even prior God has to give him over to the hands that have wanted to persecute him, even prior God had to send His Son into the world that by which he would SPEAK and that which he would do, the people would have reason to persecute him in the first place. As he spoke God’s words and did God’s deeds he was a LIGHT, once again reference to him being the son of Jesse made for to be a LIGHT.

13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

In John 3 Jesus says a man must be born again of water and of the Spiri to see God’s kingdom, we then hear prophecy that he is the only MAN who ascended to heaven, we then read we need to believe on him who was sent into the world, we then read that he who was SENT speaks the word of God for he received the Spirit not by measure.

JESUS was most certainly a man of blood who was born again of the Spirit.

The NAME of God’s Son to whom we are to believe in IS JESUS and it is JESUS who was sent out into the world after having the Spirit upon him without measure, an anointing. Jesus the Christ obeyed every command, there was no sin found in this anointed man, for God had said He would hold his hand and keep him in order for him to be a LIGHT, to set captives free from darkness.

Isaiah 45:13 I have raised him up in righteousness, and I will direct all his ways: he shall build my city, and he shall let go my captives.

There is NO sending to deliver captives UNTIL Jesus is anointed at the river Jordan, and it is said to be a calling to righteousness, which we are told elsewhere is to be born of God.

6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles; 7 To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. 8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

    Carmel,

Deut 18:18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put MY WORDS in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.

Carmel, you need to let that sink into your brain and then APPLY IT to other passages.

Acts 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. 23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

That which Jesus says is that which was commanded by God for him to say, God put HIS WORDS into Jesus’s mouth, and we are to listen to Jesus’s words FOR THAT REASON.

john 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

    Apply,

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

    Hi Carmel,

ME: Jesus rules on earth in the name of God

    YOU: LIES, LIES, and  LIES:

    ME:

Luke 13:35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

    Hi Carmel,

    You spoke of Phil 2,

Phil 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: 23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain: 24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it…..30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; 31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. 32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. 33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. 34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, 35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.

36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath MADE that SAME JESUS, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

Carmel, it is a HUMAN, the son of David who sits on an eternal throne ACCORDING TO THE FLESH, and he is a Son of God according to the Spirit, when he rose from the dead on that day he was begotten by God declared to be God’s Son for all eternity.

Guess what!! The manner in which he is a Son of God is the same manner in which we are likewise children of God!

We are JOINT HEIRS with Christ, glorified together, according to God’s word that Paul spoke.  His resurrection is our resurrection. He was a man first of an order raised from among the dead receiving the PROMISED Holy Spirit, born of God, and we are promised the SAME.

Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Ephes 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us TOGETHER with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)

    Hi Carmel,

    You:

John 14:12 Otherwise believe for the very works’ sake. Amen, amen, I say to you, he that believeth in me, (NOT IN THE FATHER) THE WORKS THAT I DO, HE ALSO SHALL DO: AND GREATER THAN THESE SHALL HE DO.
13 Because I go to the Father: (NO LONGER SUBJECT TO THE FATHER)
AND WHATSOEVER YOU SHALL ASK THE FATHER
IN MY NAME (not in the name of the Father, Jodi, the Father ignores Humans)
that will I do: (JESUS NOT THE FATHER DO THINGS AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME AND TILL THE LAST DAY OF THE LORD, SO) THAT THE FATHER may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you shall ask ME (DIRECTLY ASK JESUS, JODI!) anything in my name,(JESUS CHRIST) THAT I WILL DO.

    ME:

Once again you completely IGNORE scriptures and do not APPLY them.

Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all MY PLEASURE: 11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I HAVE SPOKEN IT, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I WILL ALSO DO IT.

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

Matthew 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

4 That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Matthew 11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said,I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Matthew 13:43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Matthew 15:13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

Matthew 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him,Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Matthew 18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Luke 6:36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Mathew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

REMEMBER— John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Matthew 20:23 And he saith unto them,Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

Luke 22:29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; 30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them,Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

13 I will be his father, and he shall be my son: and I will not take my mercy away from him, as I took it from him that was before thee: 14 But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.

The Father Carmel does not IGNORE HUMANS, it is a human that our Father was mindful of and visited, made this human a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death and then crowned this human with glory and honor and gave him dominion over the works of HIS HANDS. The Father made a human, the son of David lord and Christ. The Father resurrected Jesus from the dead. The Father forgives us of our sins by reason of Jesus Christ.  Our Father gives us of His Holy Spirit, the Father makes us JOINT HEIRS with Christ. The Father predestined people to be conformed to the image of His Son so that he maybe the firstborn of MANY.

Jesus is the Son of man exalted to sit at God’s right hand, he most certainly is SUBJECT to the Father. Isaiah’s prophecies are not yet fulfilled, our Father’s will to be executed is to be executed by a man of whom God ordained to be a judge of the quick and the dead, and he judges not by his own eyes and ears.

Carmel you totally butchered John 14, you are FULLY IGNORANT of our One God the Father and who His Son is.

You started with verse 12, I will start with verse 10.

10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

Recall Matt 6:6 and 8, we ask the Father praying to Him in Jesus Christ name, and Jesus gives as He follows our Father’s commands.

14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Recall, all that Jesus speaks including giving us commandments are not his words but our Father’s words, His commandments.

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

    Recall,

Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

    Recall,

Matthew 10:20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.

Carmel, we are suppose to believe that the Father SENT Jesus, a Son of Man came to save that which was lost.

    READ,

44 Jesus cried and said,He that believeth on me, believeth not on me, but on him that sent me. 45 And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. 46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. 47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. 49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

You don’t get the simple clear message. Jesus says he comes as a light. He is a LIGHT according to prophecy, the LORD our Father called him, the son of Jesse to righteousness directing all his ways, holding his hand, and keeping him for to be a light. All the miracles and words Jesus speaks is as a messenger of our Father, he came in our Father’s name to do our Father’s works. We are not to see that which Jesus does as Jesus’s will as Jesus’s works, we are to see them as the Father’s will and the Father’s works. The purpose of the Father sending Jesus to do HIS WORKS, SPEAK HIS WORDS is so that we may believe in and have faith in our One God the Father.

1 Peter 1:19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: 20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, 21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.

Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Why we are said to be heirs of God, JOINT HEIRS with Christ, predestined by our One God the Father to be made into the image of His Son that he maybe the firstborn of many.
