Okay Nick,
Forget the “sound like” part of my post.
WHATEVER BECAME FLESH HAD THE GLORY OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD.
Nick, WHO has the glory of the only begotten Son of God?
WHATEVER BECAME FLESH HAD SANDALS THAT JOHN THE BAPTIST WAS UNFIT TO UNTIE.
Nick, WHO had sandals that John the Baptist was unfit to untie?
Use the scriptures, Nick. The answers are written plainly for all to see, and no “arbitration” is even needed.

Don't use scripture but learn from it.
Put aside your own fabrications and let God build understandingFebruary 12, 2012 at 7:30 pm#277583mikeboll64BlockedI have, and He did. But you are saying things contrary to the understanding that scriptures and God built inside of me.
How do we find out which of us God really taught, Nick? I say we use the scriptures and our God-given understanding.
That in mind:
WHATEVER BECAME FLESH HAD THE GLORY OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD.
Nick, WHO has the glory of the only begotten Son of God?
WHATEVER BECAME FLESH HAD SANDALS THAT JOHN THE BAPTIST WAS UNFIT TO UNTIE.
Nick, WHO had sandals that John the Baptist was unfit to untie?
What do both God AND the scriptures say about these questions, Nick?

We cannot dialogue with someone who relies on personal interpretations of one verse aided only by logic and theology.February 12, 2012 at 7:36 pm#277587mikeboll64Blocked“WE” (whoever that is) cannot answer simple scriptural questions? That seems a bit odd, don't you think?
Nick, I've asked you two VERY SIMPLE questions, the answers to which don't have to be “arbitrated”, because they are right there in the scriptures for all to read.
Are you saying you are not scripturally adept enough to find the answers to these questions in the scriptures?
Or are you saying that you know answering them will deal a death blow to your own, man-made doctrine about the Word?
February 12, 2012 at 7:39 pm#277589NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
Are you so insecure you need to dominate the ideas of others-surely not?
Let others speak without your condemnation.
You are a facilitator?February 12, 2012 at 8:31 pm#277600mikeboll64BlockedI'm trying to point them to the scriptures that should be dominating their ideas, Nick.
The answers to the two simple questions I keep asking you are right there in the scriptures. I've drawn you a map right to them. Why then won't you follow the map, read the scriptures I've led you to, and answer the simple questions?
February 12, 2012 at 8:39 pm#277601NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
The glory of the Son of God was seen by some of the disciples on the mountain.
The Spirit of light shone from this wonderful vessel Jesus.

Hi Nick H.Many can quote scriptures, but dont understand what it realy means. Mike''s scriptural knowledge is very basic, but he thinks he has enough knowledge to answer the deep things of God.
wakeup.

The Spirit spoke through Yashua in jn 2.18
“destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up”
It speaks of the body of Yashua that will be raised by the Spirit of lifeFebruary 14, 2012 at 12:39 am#277911mikeboll64BlockedQuote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 13 2012,01:54) Hi,

19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”Interesting. I wonder why the Apostle John didn't pick up on what you've figured out, Nick. He seemed to think it was Jesus who said those words, not God who said them through Jesus.

The mouthpiece of God uttered the words.February 14, 2012 at 1:17 am#277928mikeboll64BlockedAnd what scripture tells you it was God speaking through Jesus IN THIS PARTICULAR VERSE?

Those who are of the Spirit know the Spirit.February 14, 2012 at 1:30 am#277940mikeboll64BlockedOh, so the “Spirit” told you this? What did you test that spirit against, Nick?

Do you not know?February 14, 2012 at 2:13 am#277951NickHassanParticipantHi MB,
You would not tie yourself in knots if you would let the Spirit lead you.February 14, 2012 at 2:51 am#277967Marlin1ParticipantMikeB, The simple question would be who raised Jesus from the Dead?
For the answer to that is who spoke.

February 14, 2012 at 2:54 am#277968mikeboll64BlockedMarlin, don't you remember the post where I quoted about 12 scriptures saying that GOD raised His servant Jesus from the dead? As I recall, you didn't even respond to that post.

No, I don't. That's why I asked you what you tested that spirit against. Please answer. - AuthorPosts
