Hi,
The Spirit spoke through Christ Jesus.
It confuses a lot of folk who cannot discern the difference.February 10, 2012 at 1:50 am#276874mikeboll64BlockedWhat does that mean, Nick? Does it pertain to the topic of this thread? If so, how?

The Spirit of Christ was before Abraham.February 10, 2012 at 2:16 am#276894mikeboll64BlockedAnd………………….?
How does that relate to John 8:58?

The WORD spoke through the vessel of Jesus.
No surprises there.February 10, 2012 at 2:34 am#276905WakeupParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Feb. 10 2012,12:05) Hi,
The Spirit of Christ was before Abraham.
Nick.I like to correct your statement,if I may.
It is not the spirit of Christ.
God Spoke in the past,–BY– THE PROPHETS.
In The last days God spoke –THROUGH– HIS SON.
So when Jesus said; before abraham; I WAS.
THIS IS GOD SPEAKING THROUGH HIS SON.
GOD WAS BEFORE ABRAHAM, AND HIS WORD, NOW JESUS WAS THERE BEFORE ABRAHAM.
The only difference is that his word is now in the form of flesh.
How did God make his word flesh? How did he do that?
We know that Jesus was born of a woman; this is how he did it: A man was born, and he is the word made flesh, and God is speaking through him.
wakeup.

MikeB.THE WORD WAS BEFORE ABRAHAM,AND JESUS IS THE WORD.
JESUS IS THE WORD IN THE FORM OF THE FLESH.
IN WHAT EVER FORM GOD MAKE HIS WORD; IT IS STILL HIS WORD. WETHER IT IS IN THE FORM OF A TREE,IT IS HIS WORD.WETHER IT IS IN THE FORM OF A STONE,IT IS STILL HIS WORD.
WETHER IT IS IN THE FORM OF A CLOUD,IT IS STILL HIS WORD.WETHER IT IS IN THE FORM OF A HUMAN,IT IS STILL HIS WORD.
wakeup.

You're confused, Nick. Jesus IS the Word. He is the Word of God because he is God's spokesman – God spoke through him as He did through many other prophets. It was the sentient BEING Jesus who said he had existed before Abraham.

Quote Hi MB,

No surprises there.God is the Word, He has always been the Word and He will always be the Word.
God did exactly what He said He would do. He became flesh that He might reconcile the world to Himself.Quote II COR 5:19 † To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself,……… Marlin

No surprises there. Is the WORD an individual being, that is alive separately from God?

Wait until he's done that to you for 47 consecutive posts, Pierre. Then you'll be only beginning to see where my anger and frustration came from last night.(I haven't noticed his “straight answer” yet – have you? )

Nick,It is not written that “the Word of God” in Rev 19:13 refers to Jesus Christ. Do you believe it does?
