Nick is correct that Job 25:24 also disagrees with the idea that the original sin is inherited through the father.
What if any are the main scriptures used for ‘original sin’ being passed down from Adam?
Is it this?
For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

Men are not punished because of the sin of Adam.
Each man has to make an account of his own life at the judgement, not the sin of Adam.
And forgiveness for all who come to Jesus is offered.

Nick is the one that introduced Job 25.
I was pointing out the questions asked in 25:4 were the mystery of Godliness and the answer to that mystery is through faith in Jesus Christ.
Job is speaking of how they used the words of God to falsely accuse him and not to encourage him.

Bildad the Shuhite used the words of Job 25:4 to accuse Job while I pointed out they sum up the mystery of godliness.

I mentioned their sin and that of Job as well for he repented of his sin with these words.
42 Then Job replied to the Lord:

Surely I spoke of things I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me to know.4

and repent in dust and ashes.”It is not wise to use their words in the same way they did but all four men are credited with being humans of God despite their sins or God would not have commanded them to sacrifice beasts for the forgiveness of their sins.
