To all…..ANGELS AND HUMANS AND ALL ANIMALS ARE FORMS OF BEINGS WHO HAVE SPIRITS “IN” THEM. THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS SPIRIT “itself”, meaning A ANGEL, there is no “ANGELIC SPIRIT” UNLESS IT IS APPLYING TO THE SPIRIT IN THE ANGEL, JUST AS IT WOULD TO ANY OTHER PHYSICAL CREATED BEING.
“For he (GOD) gives “IT” (the spirit) a “BODY” just as he pleases”. and again, “when a man dies his “SPIRIT”, RETURNS TO HIM THAT GAVE IT.” Spirits and bodies can be connected and disconnected also. Once we are connect to the spirit of GOD (the anointing spirit or christos) WE BECOME A NEW CREATION OF GOD, “BEING CREATED unto good works”, BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD SHED AROUND IN OUR HEARTS. Jesus cast out evil spirits and they wandered in desolate areas. The spirits are described as intelligent and independent creatures. I choose to believe that Scripture is correct in its definition.

Kerwin…..When a unclean spirit leaves a man his body is concidered clean , our bodies are a houses spirits can live in, they, spirits seek to live in them, all spirits not just unclean spirit seeks a body to live in imo, or they go about in dry or arid places just as scripture says looking for rest. Even the holy spirit can abide in us, none of that means that one spirit is a person. Because Jesus called it the spirit (of truth) and what does “it” do, “it” gives us the “intellectual” or cognate abilty to reconize the truth when we hear it. Now if it is dwelling “in” you have it atribute, that is not a person living in you it is an atribute given you that dwells “in” you. The same with the spirit of wisdom, even though it is personified as a person it is not a person at all, it is an atribute of a person, it helps makes the person intellectual make up, so it is with all spirits. IMO

There is more than one definition of spirit. There is a creature that is immaterial and possesses human beings. These creatures have been testified of in sources outside of Scripture.
Scripture also testifies of human souls that exist without the body.
You either choose to believe in Scripture or in the teachings of our modern culture. I choose to believe in the words of Scripture.

Nick……sprit is spirit rather clean or unclean. Where does any scripture say one is a spirit and the other is not?, What makes you believe there is a difference in the word spirit? And wichcraft have nothing to do with any of this, your accusitory spirit never ceases does it.

As far as our modern culture goes, they believe in exactly what you are saying, and that is that spirits are individual beings or persons. They do not believe spirits impute atributes of things which they give to a person, like for instance wisdom , they teach it as a person a actual women or some even say it’s JESUS himself.
I have never seen a scripture that says “a human soul exist without a body” either, please show a single scripture that says that, and please don’t use the Witch and king Saul thing. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A “SPECIFIC” SCRIPTURE THAT SAYS THAT.

It never ceases to amaze me how easely you can twist scriptures to meet you personal dogmas. Show us where any scripture say there is only ONE spirit that exists. Seems to me YOUR the one who has no fear of GOD, EVEN THOU YOU ACCUSE OTHERS OF NOT HAVING ANY. Your accusitory spirit is right on track though. IMO

Your confusion began when you assumed the SEVEN SPIRITS in front of the throne in rev 4 were SEVEN HOLY SPIRITS.
Building assumption onto assumption you now step boldly further out onto thin ice.
But of course God was on the throne[rev 4 2-3]so you surely do not promote SEPARATION between God and the Holy Spirit-or do you?
