Hi Mike,
How about just replacing the pronouns with the noun/proper noun that they represent in verses Zech 2:8-13…5 verses.Quote Zech 2:8-13
8 For thus says the Lord of hosts, “After glory He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye.
9 “For behold, I will wave My hand over them so that they will be plunder for their slaves. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.
10 “Sing for joy and be glad, O daughter of Zion; for behold I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,” declares the Lord.
11 “Many nations will join themselves to the Lord in that day and will become My people. Then I will dwell in your midst, and you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me to you.
12 “The Lord will possess Judah as His portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.
13 “Be silent, all flesh, before the Lord; for He is aroused from His holy habitation.”
NASUThanks!

God was in Christ.
He will return in Christ.June 8, 2010 at 8:35 am#197086SimplyForgivenParticipantModerator,
This thread should be in a member profile since its directed towards a person and their ideals.June 8, 2010 at 8:28 pm#197087LightenupParticipantSF,
I think that the member profile section is a section where the individual begins the profile themselves. No one begins another person's personal profile for them.June 8, 2010 at 8:32 pm#197088LightenupParticipantQuote (Lightenup @ June 07 2010,23:06) How about just replacing the pronouns with the noun/proper noun that they represent in verses Zech 2:8-13…5 verses. When Jesus returns God will still be in HimJune 8, 2010 at 9:11 pm#197090LightenupParticipantNick,
Is God in the saints too? Are all the saints called 'Jehovah?'June 8, 2010 at 9:13 pm#197091NickHassanParticipantHi LU,
Yes.
Phil 2.13, Eph 3.19Jesus is not his Father but he worked in that name.
June 8, 2010 at 9:29 pm#197092LightenupParticipantWell Nick,
You are correct in that God is in the saints. Was your 'yes' an answer to this question:
“Are all the saints called 'Jehovah?'”June 8, 2010 at 9:32 pm#197093NickHassanParticipantHi LU,
No and neither is YA SHUAJune 8, 2010 at 9:41 pm#197094LightenupParticipantHi Nick,
Yeshua is the Jehovah in Zech 2 that Jehovah of Hosts sends. It doesn't have to be so complicated, Nick. Yeshua is also called Jehovah our Righteousness. Yeshua means 'Jehovah saves.' Yeshua told us who gave His own name to Him…His Father, Jehovah.June 8, 2010 at 9:47 pm#197095NickHassanParticipantHi LU,
So you say.But the opinions of folks contribute little to what is sacred.
He is the the Christ, the Son of the living God.
June 8, 2010 at 9:55 pm#197096NickHassanParticipantHi LU,
ELI JAH was not God either.June 8, 2010 at 10:01 pm#197097LightenupParticipantNick,
Neglect of sacred truth will keep you in the dark. The Son is Lord, the Lord that was sent that Zech 2 speaks of. BTW, that 'Lord' that will be sent by the Lord of Hosts in Zech 2 is Jehovah in the Hebrew text. Can YOU say Jesus is Lord? Can you say Jesus is Jehovah? Lord=Jehovah.June 8, 2010 at 10:18 pm#197098NickHassanParticipantHi LU,
Jesus is Lord.God has visited his people..in the vessel of His Son.
He will return as King with God yet abiding in him. Kiss the Son.[Ps2]June 9, 2010 at 4:29 am#197099LightenupParticipantNick,
Can you say that Jesus is Jehovah, the one that the Jehovah of hosts has sent? Zech 2June 9, 2010 at 4:37 am#197100mikeboll64BlockedHi Paul and Kathi,
I've been so busy with the prototokos thread that Paul is afraid to step foot on that I forgot I left you both hanging. I'll try to answer tomorrow.
peace and love,
mikeJune 9, 2010 at 4:50 am#197101NickHassanParticipantHi LU,
No that is a ludicrous idea.
God [YA}sent His Son[Yahshua] anointed with His Spirit.June 9, 2010 at 5:04 am#197102LightenupParticipantNick,
The fact that you think it is ludicrous is keeping you from seeing something very important, imo.You say that God sent His Son Yeshua and so does Zech 2 but God is called the Jehovah of hosts and Yeshua is called Jehovah in that chapter.
1 Corinthians 12:3 (New American Standard Bible)
3Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking (A)by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus is (B)accursed”; and no one can say, “Jesus is ÂLord,” except (D)by the Holy Spirit.
Jesus is Jehovah (Lord), the Jehovah that the Jehovah of Hosts has sent from Zech 2. You are not alone, Nick, many can't say that either.
Anyone can read the words and say “Jesus is Lord” but not all can mean and understand that Jesus is Lord as in Jehovah from Zech 2. That is given by the Holy Spirit. IMO
June 9, 2010 at 5:16 am#197103NickHassanParticipantHi LU,
No Jesus told the Jews THE FATHER was the one they called God[Jn8.54]
