Hi H,
Those who teach another gospel from that of God's really should go and argue amongst themselves.
We uphold that gospel and our beliefs are based on that gospel.July 23, 2008 at 4:01 am#98684chosenoneParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ July 23 2008,13:02) Hi CO,
Guess what.
You have choices.
You can decide to take up your own cross.
You can decide to abide in the sacred Word of God.
You can decide to follow Jesus despite the associated difficulties.
You can decide to pray for God's kingdom to come on earth as it is in heaven.
You can decide to pray for grace to enable you to undertake all these things we must do.Puttung your feet up seems unhelpful.
Nick,
Guess what.
Eph.2:8-10 8 For in grace, through faith, are you saved, and this is not out of you; it is God's approach present,
9 not of works, lest anyone should be boasting.
10 For His achievement are we, being created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God makes ready beforehand, that we should be walking in them. You guessed it… Scripture doesn't agree with you.
Blessings.
PS. It would help if you included scripture with your posts. But I guess you can't… There are none.

Addressed to the saints, But meant for all the nations. (Ro.15:16). Check your scriptures, all of them, you'll get the correct meaning when you read it in context of all of pauls epistles.Blessings.
July 23, 2008 at 4:40 am#98698NickHassanParticipantHi CO,
So the letter addressed to the saints at Ephesus has to be checked with the letter to the Romans before being sent?Rom15
16That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.
So the gospel of God and Christ Jesus has to be offered to the gentiles through Paul so that those who respond can join in the sacrifice of praise to God by the work of The Spirit in them.
Is this what you mean?

No.July 23, 2008 at 5:07 am#98704NickHassanParticipantHi CO,
All of sinful mankind cannot be joined with a God of Goodness.
The whole of human history has been a purification process to allow the Spirit of God to save a remnant.
Forgiveness is offered to all in the gospel of Christ Jesus so that new life can be planted in these vessels and a tranformed prople arise.
Freed from the sin of earth even in their bodies they are recreated accoding to the image of the Son of God.Minds retaught from the scriptures.
A new heavenly body, and alive and one in the same Spirit of God with Christ. But unless men accept the offer of forgiveness and saving grace, they remain entrapped by sin and their old master, the god of this world. All is of grace but the message is not hidden from all.

Salvation is of grace.
Paul reminded the saved Ephesians not to boast.
But he did not send these letters to the heathen godless ones.July 23, 2008 at 7:57 am#98723gollamudiParticipantQuote (chosenone @ July 23 2008,17:41) Nick.

July 28, 2008 at 4:41 am#99196GeneBalthropParticipantNick…..”I will take out of them the (STONY HEART) and give them a HEART of (FLESH) Soft heart” . So I guess God knows How to soften us and take out the stiff nicks, of those He has chosen and elected.
You must remember the stiff necked Israelites were not converted and many who claim to be “Christian” are not either. Those who have the Spirit understand the deep things of God, while those who don't can only quote scripture as the Pharisees did at the time of Christ. They thought they were teachers and keepers of God's word but Jesus said they were doing the deeds of their father the devil. All true Sheep know the sound of truth and will not follow a false Sheppard.

We agree. We listen for the voice of scriptural truth.
