How the most popular message boards became so popular was by linking there subjects of discussion to search engines.
June 3, 2004 at 7:09 am#3950AdminKeymasterThx MichaelTheeArchAngel,
I do not think that Search Engines index pages created from a script. E.g. http://heaven.net.nz/cgi-bin….=SF;f=2
However I suppose I could get around that by creating onramp pages. Static html pages compatiable with Search Engines, that refresh to the scripted links of each subject.
One problem with this however is that Google tends to push these types of pages down in ranking as it is/was a popular way spammers try/tried to push their pages.
I know that Heaven Net is ranked in the top 3 on Google with the search term 'heaven net' and 'trinity doctrine'. I have seen the site in Googles top 10, when I typed out other search terms.
January 12, 2005 at 11:26 pm#5197AnonymousGuestPlease help me register. I tried under Barry, but was told it was in use. Then tried under Dat as username, but told my e-mail counldn't be used since it was already in the records (from my first attempt?)
January 13, 2005 at 12:04 am#5198NickHassanParticipantHi Dat ole Barry?
Welcome. I guess just try a few till you come up trumps.January 13, 2005 at 10:48 am#5203AdminKeymasterTo Barry,
You need to log in rather than registering again. The error you received is what someone would get if they were registering and someone already registered that ID.
I noticed that there is a member called 'Barry' so if that is your ID (if you registered that ID) then log in with that ID and type in the password you chose.
If you do not know your password, you can retrieve it by going to the 'Forgotten your password and/or log in details? Click here!' link, in the log in page. The password will be emailed automatically to the address that was given when the ID was registered.
If you have any more problems let us know.
thx
