verse 17 says who ever is thirsty(us) come,the invite is to us. The invitation comes from THE SPIRIT and THE BRIDE.
We are the invited. we are not the bride.

If there are more days  AFTER  “the last day”, then it would not be “the last day”, right?

You don't want to change your belief that Jesus second coming
and (according to YOU) the resurrection happen at the same time.  (Link)

So you have to change  “THE LAST DAY”  into  'the last day of Babylon the great'.  
Because “IF” “THE LAST DAY” really means “THE” last day, then there are no
1,000 years of days afterwards. (and we certainly can't have that, right?)

Peter wrote those words before 70AD. So yes, Satan was, then, walking around as a lion, seeking whom he could devour.

But,
Jesus said:
“How can someone enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man? Then indeed he may plunder his house.”

This happened in 70Ad, after Peter wrote those words.

Jesus said:
(Matt 24:2) “You see all these, do you not? Truly, I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down.”

The gospel of the kingdom has been preached throughout the world as a testimony to all of the nations, and soon (or more likely, now) Satan has been let lose to deceive the nations once more, and then the end will come.

Can you not see that?
