Jammin,I am merely explaining what should be clear to that understand English; that is that Paul is demonstrating the mind that is in Jesus that he previous instructed also have.
How can you have a mind like Christ if you do not know what it is? Paul knows that and demonstrated the mind of Christ in action.
If you object to a mature believer being Christlike and therefore being being in the form of God then you object to the goal of the gospel.
