So still stuck in the earthly view?
What did Jesus mean in jn 7 37-38?April 19, 2012 at 11:28 pm#293553mikeboll64
BlockedHe foretells of after the resurrection. Any human being on earth still must drink water each day – whether or not they believe in the Son of God.
There will come a day when some of us will never hunger or thirst again. Some of us will drink from the river flowing from the thrones. (Rev 22:17)

Jesus may have been the angel of God who went before the Israelites in the wilderness. (Exodus 20:20-23) But that verse could just as easily be referring to Moses, another christ of God.Either way, at best it lists Jesus as an angel OF God, and not God Himself.
then aread in 1 cor 10.1-4 that paul said it is moses.

jammin,It seems to me that you have a decision to make. You have to decide for yourself whether Jesus was truly God Almighty manifested in the flesh, and was therefore all-powerful and all-knowing…………..or if Jesus was a kind of “lesser god” while on earth, whose own God in heaven knew more than him and was greater than him.
You must also consider Nick's point about God being IN Jesus. How can God be IN God? Also, you must figure out who the God was that was doing the miracles through Jesus (Acts 2:22) if Jesus was truly our one and only God while on earth.
I'll leave you to meditate on these things.
read the context boy. you are just making your own opinion LOLis peter lying when he said christ is all knowing? no man is all knowing. Christ is truly God!
i believe what apostle peter said.
the verse mat 24.36 refers to his human nature. as man, he did not know the time of his coming. but as God, he knows all.
remember christ became flesh. he is truly God and truly MAn.

Paul said the word “christos”, jammin. Moses was one of the MANY “christos” of God. How do you know it refers to JESUS “christos” this time? Also, if it DOES refer to Jesus “christos” this time, then all it proves is that Jesus was the ANGEL OF GOD who God sent before the Israelites. It doesn't in any way make a claim that Jesus is God Almighty, does it?
In fact, God is the one who ANOINTS “christos”. He is not an anointed one Himself.

So then, as a man, he WASN'T really “all-knowing”, was he?John 5:20
For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even greater things than these. It seems Jesus was NOT all-knowing, for his Father was still in the process of showing him new things at the time he said these words.

Read in that scripture that it is Jesus. (And I mean the GREEK TEXT, not one of your cheesy, altered translations.)And, if you CAN read it in the Greek text, will you admit that Jesus was the ANGEL OF God who was COMMANDED by his God to go before the Israelites?

Exodus 14:19
And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:Was this Jesus in your opinion?
