The soul that sins shall die
Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, says the Lord God, and not rather that they should turn from their ways and live?
Amen.
Yet you say, “The way of the Lord is unfair.” Hear now, O house of Israel: Is my way unfair? Is it not your ways that are unfair?
Amen.
Again, when the wicked turn away from the wick…

23 Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, says the Lord God, and not rather that they should turn from their ways and live? 24 But when the righteous turn away from their righteousness and commit iniquity and do the same abominable things that the wicked do, shall they live? None of the righteous deeds that they have done shall be…[Read more]

Your Messiah is a mythical figure not the original Messiah talked in the Hebrew Bible. So what type of hope is this which mystified the very concepts of Messiah? Why hang on Messiah at all if you don’t want a Hebrew Messiah?
Jesus was a Hebrew.
He was a man.
He did what messiahs do. He saved.
The only thing you really disagree with is the s…[Read more]

Mike:
Upon his ascension to heaven, Gene. Jesus was raised from the dead in the same flesh body in which he died. He dwelled on earth in that same body for another 30 days after his resurrection. Then he ascended to heaven before the eyes of the disciples. But we know from scripture that flesh can neither inherit nor even enter the kin…

The soul that sins will die. You will die. We all will die. Is that it. The God of the cosmos will let us all eternally die. Never to have life again.
We have a glorious hope because we accepted the messiah. What is your hope gadam?

The same thing applies to any one here as they are sticking to their age old myths which are not based on the Hebrew Bible. I too can quote the same logics for you too my friend
so i’m going to go out on a limb here, spirit logic is very far and few in-between with the Hebrew, it’s way on the ritual side, rules side, eye for an eye side.

As for myths being weaved into the NT that are not present in the OT. What is the first myth that comes to mind?
The so called preexistence of the Messiah and making him divine or god. What else you need?

That the law condemns and we pray forever and ask for forgiveness? If so, how do we know your interpretation is not a misinterpretation? Do you have special revelation or something?
What is this repeated ‘condemnation’ my friend? I think you are struck at Paul’s idea of treating the Torah as obsolete. Yes asking forgiveness is a continuous process…[Read more]

Newton physics then Theory of relativity. A deviation or a progression? I guess you would say deviation given that Newton did not mention many things that Einstein did.
You are entitled to your mental constructs. It’s just that I think they are inadequate.

This is what I am questing on the writings and the new secret revelation of the NT as they had deviated much from their primary source the Hebrew Bible on Messiah.

This was purely Christian misinterpretation of the Torah, first by Paul then by his followers.
I see. What is the correct interpretation? That the law condemns and we pray forever and ask for forgiveness? If so, how do we know your interpretation is not a misinterpretation? Do you have special revelation or something?

The Word was with God.
So whatever form the Word was.
Spirit would be a good guess.
But there is no clear teaching in scripture on this as far as I know.
So I don’t want to fall into the error of saying something is when I would only be making a logical guess.

I’ll state it like this.
Do you have a fishing rod? Yes.
Do you catch fish? Yes
Are you a fisherman?
See that. Not all people who catch fish are fishermen.
Not all who sin are sinners.
Not all who speak lies are liars.
At what point do you become a fisherman, sinner, or liar?
When you practice it.
I cannot tell you what exactly the t…[Read more]

Removing all feelings and emotions and looking at the facts only, those who teach lies are either doing it intentionally or are deceived in that area at least. If a person is deceived and then shown proof or even strong evidence to the contrary, the person has a choice, they either change or become more wilfully deceived and more wilfully they…[Read more]
