Do you agree that Deut 10:17 could be mentioning two persons as YHWH, God of gods and Lord of lords, in light of there being one God and one Lord as mentioned in the NT?
Hi LU
NO
In Deuteronomy 10:17,
the GOD of gods and the Lord of lords is the Father of Jesus.
But I do not forget that God, the Father of Jesus, did everything (and still…[Read more]Lightenup replied to the topic Is “evening and morning” proof of 24-hour days in Genesis? in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 months ago

Hebrews 3:11 (quoting Psalm 95:11):

You asked:
So you’re saying it was a spiritual day / light that also had evening and morning?
Good question, I think that the light of day one has to do with the Son of God who is “The Light of the World” entering the dimension of creation.
The term “day” was what God called the light. The darkness that was called night is d…[Read more]

On the first day G-d created light and darkness, HE separated the two; can time, as we understand it, exist without “light”? Theoretically it can, but it would be unobservable. So, on the first day G-d created time when HE separated light from darkness and it was so man could observe it.
On the fourth day HE created heavenly bodies to govern the…[Read more]

Hi all
Rome Says it is Better for the World to Live without the Sun than without Sunday Mass
For centuries, Rome has promoted what Scripture calls the “wine of her fornication” (Revelation 17:2)—teachings and traditions that replace God’s truth with human authority. Chief among these is the elevation of Sunday as the “Sabbath,” a direct cont…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Is “evening and morning” proof of 24-hour days in Genesis? in the forum Truth or Tradition 7 months ago
We are told that the sun was created on day four and it is the sun that rules the day and the sun, moon and stars are to separate the light from the darkness. So, I assume that on day four, the 24 hour cycle was put into place. Before that day, I think the light was of the spiritual nature rather than a physical nature. The spiritual light, imo,…

To God, a day is like a thousand years, but people insist that a day for him is 24 hours for some reason.
We are not told that the sun was created on Day Four, only that light became visible. The sun already existed before Day One: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”
Day One describes the shaping or terraforming of the…[Read more]

The proclamation that for “us”, we have one God and one Lord, seems to tie back to the fact that YHVH is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, two persons.

Did you just politicize the death of Charlie Kirk? Have you no shame!??!

Hi Proclaimer,
To answer your question above, I say no, “evening and morning” is not proof of 24 hour days. We are told this though:
Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth and the sea and all that is in them, but on the seventh day He rested. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and set it apart as holy.

The article would have to be truth for truth to be understood.
Fact, G-d is addressing the king.
Fact, there is no transition to reference Satan; G-d is speaking to the king figuratively.
Fact, you still haven’t explained why Satan was wearing a covering of precious stones…what the what!?!
Fact, the cherub in this passage is a…[Read more]

Still stuck on what Ezk 28 is saying? You like “gotquestions” interpretation because it agrees with your religion, NOT because it’s truth. You just confirmed the interpretations of man is more to you than G-d’s words.

Is the king of Tyre prophecy in Ezekiel 28 referring to Satan?
I quite agree with this interpretation below
👇
“At first glance, the prophecy in Ezekiel 28:11–19 seems to refer to a human king. The city of Tyre was the recipient of some of the strongest prophetic condemnations in the Bible (Isaiah 23:1–18; Jeremiah 25:22; 27:1–11; Ezeki…[Read more]
