The Fire

The Fire

Jesus lit a fire when he came to this world, a fire to destroy the works of the enemy. When he died that fire started to burn bigger and brighter with truth as the fuel. Satan tried in vain to put the fire out by trying to blow the flames out with the wind of persecution. Instead of the fire going out however, his actions only spread the fire to different parts of the world. When Satan realized that he was contributing to the spread of the fire, he logically tried a different tactic, but how sucessful was he?

We know that the true Church is indestructible according to Jesus Christ:

“Upon this rock I will build my Church and the Gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.”

But Satan can still cause much harm and persecution to the Church and he embarked on a strategy that was much more successful than any persecution and genocide he created in the past. Instead of trying to wipe Christians off the map, he instead decided to remove the fuel from the fire (so to speak). In the place of truth, the enemy introduced creeds, so that men now trusted in the words of men even above the pure Word of God. The first creeds needed to fairly accurate or close to the truth in order to allow men to accept them. Upon acceptance it was just matter of time before changes to creeds or new creeds were introduced which ultimately lead men astray and even into idol worship. One step at a time however, so as to not sound an alarm.

This plan eventually led to the day where scripture became banned leading to a lack of revealed truth resulting in the fire dying down to a level where Satan could contain and control the fire with ease. Satan then started building walls so that the fire would be contained into sections called denominations. Now it was even easier for him to control the fire because while the walls are there, the fire cannot burn as one fire like before. This means that each small fire cannot benefit from the heat and light of the other fires. Most fires in the sections are now embers and some are ashes, but where the embers are, Satan knows that they could easily erupt back into a fire. It was still possible that the flames could burn higher than the walls and ignite other fires if left unchecked. The result could be one big fire again.

In the last days, God promises that he will pour out his Spirit, and this out pouring would lead to a bright and hot burning fire that would be bigger than the fire has ever burned before. In fact it would become the perfect fire and eventually consume all the works of the enemy.

What does this mean for the Church. Surely we need to repent of our divisions which are based on the pride and wisdom of man. We need to understand the foundational doctrines that Jesus built His Church on and abandon the creeds of men. We also need to realize that we cannot start a Church or that we can have our own Church. Instead we should know that we are the Church and that there is only one Church, the Body of Christ. In addition we must realize that the gates of hell cannot prevail against the true Church and not be alarmed when we see the collapse of the denominational structure .

We must realize that God has everything under control, all we need to do is listen and obey God. We need to repent of man-made works and stop building towers of Babel and making names for ourselves, for we will surely continue to be cursed with different languages, the languages of Christianity we call denominations. The Church needs to come out of Babylon and be delivered from the gods of Babylon and Egypt. We need to stop trusting in economy of Babylon (buying and selling) and start practicing the economy of the Kingdom of God, which is giving and receiving. We also need to stop trusting in the words of men and search the scriptures daily to see if what we are holding to is really true. We need to judge by fruits and stop being memorized by appearances and names.

When we repent we shall have the victory over all the Kingdoms of the world. Remember the great stone that strikes the statue is the Kingdom of God, and the stone will grow to fill up the whole earth. We need to repent and trust in God, he already has the plan mapped out, we just need to obey and be part of that plan. We cannot defeat the enemy in our own strength, so you might as well give up now. Our only option is to trust in Him who gives authority and power from on high.

    Hi t8,

Yes all must repent or they will perish.

But you must also be reborn of water and the Spirit.

I was immersed in water  ONLY to provide for those, ( fellow christians ) evidence on a physical/mental plane,  of my conviction . On the spiritual level,  I received of the holy spirit MANY months before!  personally, did I consider water baptism necessary?  NO , But, so that I would not offend the little ones and be a light to fellow believers, I partook in the water baptism !

    Hi t8,

The church is not divided so repentance is not required.

The false church which is visible to the world, utterly divided, hostile to truth and infected with sin cannot repent.

Come out of her my people.

Many of the people of God are divided by these false organisations purporting to be the true Church.

Not all are aware of what is going on, but the light increases as the times get darker.

If we say that only the true children of God are aware of this, then that would not be supported in scripture.

If we understand something true, then it is up to us to give it to those who have ears.

The Word of God is true & mighty! I, in my vho, Take His Word literally. I repent every day because I’m a sinner. I am not perfect. But I strive every moment to be like his Son, my Lord And savior Jesus, who is also my teacher, brother, King!
