You make me laugh – nothing sneaky here…just taking the verse you love to hold up as proof for your heresy, and showing you what it actually says, in the light of day…!!!

Eternal life – Father AND Son…(sort of makes your broad interpretation of “I and the Father are ONE” a little cheap…wouldn’t you say…???)

    DAVID

the holy spirit is not a dove , it came as a form so it could be seen by John it was a sign only for him so he would know that Jesus was the one after him ,the Messiah ,just as it came like tongues of flames at the Pentecost ,but again the holy spirit is not TONGUES OF FLAMES ,LOOK WHAT THE HOLY SPIRIT DID TO PHILIP ON THE ROAD WITH THE ETHIOPIAN ON HIS WAY HOME,

AND AT OTHER PLACES IN SCRIPTURES IT DOES MORE THINGS ,IT IS ALSO CALLED THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH ,THAT COMES FROM GOD ,BUT IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT A PERSON OR BEING ,YOUR TRINI IS SO NOT IN THE SCRIPTURES THAT YOU SEEM TO SCRATCH FOR ANY ILLUSION THAT THERE COULD BE ,

My personal view on this is that the Spirit came down upon Christ in bodily form, i.e., in the form of a man, but that it descended gracefully in the same manner as a dove.

    holy spirit ???

Mt 3:16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him.

Jn 1:32 Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him.

Mk 1:10 As Jesus was coming up out of the water, he saw heaven being torn open and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.

Jn 1:33 I would not have known him, except that the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is he who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’
Jn 1:34 I have seen and I testify that this is the Son of God.”

WHERE DOES IT SAYS THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT ENTER OR CAME ON THE PERSON OF CHRIST ??? it does not right ???

It also says the Spirit of God, not God the Holy Spirit. Scripture doesn’t ever say, ‘God the Holy Spirit’. Trinitarians need to introduce terms and words that do not exist in scripture because scripture doesn’t describe the ideas that they have.

    Yes, God…
    The Son of God…
    And the Spirit of God…

Yet according to Scripture there is only ONE God, which is why John speaks of the Son as being both God, and yet with God..! (TWO that are ONE)..

Scripture shows very clearly that Salvation (eternal life) belongs to BOTH the Father and the Son together…and yet there is only ONE God…(again TWO are ONE)..

John points us to the beginning and shows us how the ONE word GOD incorporates BOTH Father AND Son…

    Genesis 1:
Verse 1 – In the beginning GOD (Father, Son )
    Verse 2 – the Spirit of God…

First two verses of the Bible show the Trinity…

If you change John 1:1 then what you have is two separate god’s…or, as you put it, God and another…

God’s Spirit rested on the Son…THREE separate Beings, working together as ONE God…hence the scripture concerning Christ, “For God in all His fullness was pleased to live in Christ.”

Can’t find any information on ‘Know your Enemy’ series about Trinity…in Part 73 (8:45) about JW’s – it acknowledges their false doctrine in teaching that Jesus is NOT God…!!!? So Yes I also agree with this…

He doesn’t condemn the Trinity. This video series is interesting from the point of view of the origin and progression of the Mystery religion. It doesn’t take a genius though to connect the dots, when you realise how drunk the world is from the religion of Babylon. But many do not connect the dots because they put too much trust in man and think that the Mysterious Trinity is beyond question. The Mysterious Trinity is part of this Mystery Religion and it is actually the Catholic Faith of which is the biggest religion in the world, and is also a city on seven hills. She sits on many waters, yet is a city sitting on seven hills. She has influenced the whole world and her religion is the Trinity. She also killed millions of so-called heretics, who denied her faith. She has blood on her hands, and God wants us out.

Let scripture correct you. Not a triune God, but God, his spirit and his son. HIS son and HIS spirit. Spirit OF God, Son OF God. There is only God the Father, not God the son or God the Holy Spirit as you teach.

For us, there is one God the Father. For you this is not true.

You condemn the JWs and I do not agree with many of their doctrines either. But the truth is that Jesus builds his Church upon the truth that Jesus is the son of God, and the messiah. This rules out all Trinitarian Churches and the whole Muslim faith.

People in glass houses should not throw stones IMO. Remove the plank first before addressing the speck.

So this video you posted on “Supporting the Trinity” page…really IS supporting the Trinity…!??! Amazing…!!!
It goes through all the ‘Mystery Babylon’ stuff you believe and yet still acknowledges the false teaching of the JW’s when they (like yourself) teach that Jesus is not God…!!!

You say that so-called “Trinitarian Churches” are ruled out from being part of the true church because, as to you put it, “Jesus builds his Church upon the truth that Jesus is the son of God, and the messiah.”
presuming that ‘Trinitarians’ don’t believe this, when of course they certainly do, only they acknowledge Jesus is MORE than just Lord…like Thomas they say of Him, “My Lord AND my God.” – they acknowledge that according to the revelation of New Testament Scripture, the very fullness of God dwells in the person of Jesus Christ…He is the manifestation of God in the flesh..!!

The very ROCK upon which Christ builds His Church IS… the REVELATION of HIMSELF…and it is you that has excluded yourself from this revelation of the Spirit, by relying instead on your own understanding.

That is a childish comment DavidL. Are you old enough to understand why I posted it? He also makes no case that the Catholic Trinity is true in the videos. Trying to score a point with silly comment like that doesn’t impress any mature person IMO. I told you why I posted this video and should just leave it at that. I think the video is interesting and makes many links, but there are other links he could also make and this is what I am discussing with this video.

Usually when people cite someone or post a video regarding a certain point, it is not meant to be understood that you support 100% of everything they say, rather that there are some interesting points to consider. I thought you would be mature enough to glean the point.

I would appreciate it if you lifted the debate to a better level. We are all adults here and many of us love the truth, so try to avoid silly punches below the belt like that, and the discussion will be better.

childish..??? Common, you post a video that obviously we would assume contains some sort of information regarding the Trinity, but after skipping through most of its 70+ parts I find it actually SUPPORTS the trinity AND (something you need to take note of) highlights the fact that Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses, the two major CULT groups of Christianity (who also deny the Trinity) where deeply influenced by Freemasonry – THE SAME AS ISAAC NEWTON…!!!

Yes childish. We are debating the meat of the Word and you give me sour milk to drink. Please keep it scriptural and not play silly games. Making playground comments like that is embarrassing. We are allowed to post citations and sources that support a point. No one in their right mind believes that you support everything they are doing or believe. I stand by the comment, you are out of your depth in this subject. Hence why you think your comment is some kind of proof of the Trinity. It would be like me quoting John Calvin and then you saying that I support his persecution and murders. However if this is all you can throw at me, then you have lost this debate. I quote scripture.

“For us there is one God the Father.” I don’t need to resort to anything else.
