Matthew 13:47-50

Lake Wakatipu Queenstown New Zealand

“Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish.  When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore. Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away.  This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous  and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Nick, what you said in your last post is irrelevant as you suggest that I do not know this.

It is like me saying: Nick, you need to acknowledge that Jesus is the son of God.

If I said that, it would suggest strongly that I thought you were denying it.

So why do you make these kinds of posts to people, when it is clear that they are not against what you say in that instance.

What would be the point of it besides a veiled false accusation?

Read Mathew’s account and read it slowly. You are calling him a liar?

This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.

Is Mathew’s account correct or not? Please answer. If you say no, then fine, you are entitled to think you know more than him. If you say yes, then you agree with me and not yourself.

    YES/NO Nick.

Let your yes be yes and no be no. You can provide an explanation, but I want a yes or no, or I will place you on the Hot Seat to get one.

I would appreciate an answer here Nick.

    Hi Ed and T8,

Wield your threats if it makes you comfortable.

Jesus was conceived in Mary by the Holy Spirit.

    A man.

Did you think that somehow anointed him as well.

What we think Nick is Jesus Christ came in the flesh. Ask yourself when he came in the flesh. Was it the Jordan or in a manger in Jerusalem. You seem to teach that Jesus Christ was born at the Jordan. Is that correct?

Please, yes or no to that other question Nick?

    Hi t8,

    I answered the question.

Does your inquisition demand a yes.no answer too?

Logic does not supply spiritual answers.

When does scripture say the Holy Spirit came down on him in the form of a dove?

    What changed and why?

When will the teacher give the Glory to God?

    ?

It seems to me that you do not really believe and you teach that Jesus Christ did not come in the flesh. Your accusations against me because I teach that Jesus is the Christ at birth and onward coupled with your specific teaching that he was not the Christ from his birth leads me to challenge your teaching. You say that the man became the Christ at the Jordan, so for most of his earthly life he was NOT THE CHRIST. I am not challenging the baptism at the Jordan and the Spirit descending and the public revealing that Jesus was the one. I believe these wholeheartedly and teach them. But I am suspicious of any spirit that opposes such teachings.

Rather than being concerned for one’s ego at losing a point in a debate, it is obviously better to be concerned about our teaching if it is found wanting, and especially if it ticks the box as coming from the Antichrist spirit.

I am secure in the fact that Jesus is the Christ, and that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. But you oppose that security and I think this is very reckless. We need to have concern for our soul way more than trying to win a point that you cannot in truth win. We cannot compare our soul to even all the riches of the whole world.

Okay, so I can assume then from your post that you truly believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh.

Then when exactly did he come in the flesh. Was it the Jordan, as a baby in Jerusalem, or what?

BTW, my inquisition if you want to call it that, will not leave you tied to a stake for crucifixion, rather it will be for you to think about and to help work out your salvation. It is a check for the concern of a man’s soul.

    Hi t8,

You teach Jesus of Nazareth was not anointed at the Jordan?

    Whom do you follow?

Where did I teach that? Show me. You cannot. If you rely on your own understanding, then you will be in error in your judgements.

Jesus Christ came in the flesh. Jesus Christ was baptised at the Jordan and the Holy Spirit descended on him and stayed with him.

    Hi t8,

So when did the Holy Spirit begin to work and teach through Jesus?

What did Jesus do and say in his own strength from that time?

Nick, Jesus was fathered by his own spirit. Do not think that you know everything about Jesus and his origin. Scripture nowhere actually says that Jesus Christ was born at the Jordan. It nowhere states that he was without the Spirit at anytime in his life. What it does state is that he was born the messiah and the spirit descended on him at John’s baptism of repentance. If you want to prove that Jesus Christ did not come in the flesh, or that Jesus is not the Christ by reason of him being a man only, then it is you who has issues to work out, not me. Why is that? Because of one word: ‘scripture’.

I believe as is taught that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. I believe that he was born as the messiah. Stop persecuting me because I believe what I should. I am never going to deny what I believe here because you believe otherwise. It might make you feel better if I do, but that ultimately is not going to help you. Sometimes you have to admit that there are things that you need to sort out and you alone.  (Disclaimer: You alone as in you and no other human being. Of course we need God always.) No matter how far a man errs, there will always be another man to support his view. We have scripture which corrects us. So I offer you these scriptures not my own submission to what you teach, and you do not seem very interested in those scripture. In fact you seem rather irritated by them. Instead, I think you want me to say, I believe you are right Nick. I will say that when you agree with scripture.

    Hi t8,

(1)So when did the Holy Spirit begin to work and teach through Jesus?

(2)What did Jesus do and say in his own strength from that time?

    Hi Nick,

I’d like to take a go at your questions.

    1) Beginning at Jordan after his baptism from John at the age of 30.
    2) He expelled demons, raised the dead,
“what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise” (John 5:19)

    3) Another pertiant question is: what did Jesus do and say in his own strength from before that time?
And the answer is recorded in Luke 2:46-4: Jesus taught in the temple at the age 12

    Hi Ed,

So you believe revealing the scriptures at age 12 is sure evidence of an anointing before birth.

So what else did he say or do that supports your idea in those THIRTY YEARS?

    Hi Nick,

    1) You got things backwards – 1Peter 1:11 is evidence of his anointing before birth.
And an Angel in Luke 2:11 declares Christ was born in Bethlehem mind you, this is critical
as Micah 5:2 declares that the “spirit of Christ” came from everlasting TO BETHLEHEM, NOT JORDAN!

    2) In Luke 2:46-4: Jesus teaching in the temple at the age 12
is evidence of his (Christ) anointing before 30 (but after his birth).

So you see Nick, Micah 5:2 rips the cover off your erroneous assumption that “the spirit of Christ”
is (according to you) the HolySpirit of God (– please note my use of your terms here)

But you demand that I believe he was anointed prior to birth and that would deny what is written about the Jordan.

I do not demand this. Why would I? I believe he was the Christ when he was born. I believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh and didn’t begin at the Jordan. I believe he was born the King of the Jews. He was also the son of God when he was born. For this you persecute me and falsely accuse me. What spirit would try to get me to technically deny that Jesus Christ came in the flesh? Nick, you should be mindful of some important points.

    • The Antichrist Spirit denies that Jesus is the Christ and that Jesus Christ came in the flesh.
    • If a man is born from above, he will love. Love is kind.
    • Scripture is used for reproof and correction. When I do this, you accuse me of judging you, yet you are quite alright with saying I do not follow the Spirit using your own words and judgement. You do not use scripture to correct me because you cannot not. I believe you would if you could and if you could I would be appreciative. Instead you have to resort to your own words and own understanding to make accusations against me. I rightly reject these judgements.
    • A man is much better off judging himself than judging others.
    • Pride goes before a fall.
    • What does it profit a man to gain the whole world, but lose his soul. So what does it profit a man to try and win an argument that scripture doesn’t support and try and get others to deny that Jesus is the Christ like he seems to be doing? Face it, you believe that Jesus was not the Christ. He was born Jesus, and wasn’t the Christ till Jordan at which point he was Jesus Christ. So you deny Jesus as the Christ clearly because when Jesus was born, he was not the Christ according to you because the man was not yet anointed according to you.  What you teach is Jesus Christ is the Christ. Not Jesus as the Christ as scripture shows us.

Realise what you are doing Nick so you can change.

    Hi T8,

Encourage by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.

I am hoping you will see the overriding truth that the Holy Spirit of God works through men.

    Is that sound doctrine?

I am hoping you will see the overriding truth that the Holy Spirit of God works through men.

Nick, this is a veiled accusation. Why would you think that I do not believe that the Holy Spirit works through men? Show me anywhere where I have said or taught such a thing. Did you know that bearing false witness against thy neigbour is a commandment. Not just good advice Nick, but a commandment.

You think I believe that because I believe that Jesus Christ was born as a baby and not at the Jordan and that he actually spoke even though I say he spoke what the Father wanted him to say.

Cast aside your own understanding of things Nick. You are constantly putting your foot in it with these false accusations. Judge yourself, not others.

Your magic formula that Jesus was not the Christ till Jordan is a fail. He was born the messiah and that is all there is to it. Scripture shows us clearly.

Correct me with scripture Nick and I will appreciate it. Accuse me with your own understanding and I will rightly rebuke you.

You will never win this Nick because the truth was there before you were born. You are better to align with the truth rather than for pride’s sake convince others that you are right.
