You who reject the UB because you are forbidden from using your own common sense think that what you are doing is defending God.

 you are one of a kind;you use the UB because you do not have common sense ,anything outside of you does not exist ,ego, ego, and ego ,like Mormon, and Islam with the Koran,

can not take the humility of Christ ,just like the Jews of Christ time their interest first the rest to hell or subdued

God can raise up children for Abraham out of stones, Charles.  But that wouldn't mean those He raised up out of stones have existed from eternity –

    Mike,

Most probably it seems you are DRUNK!

Those who are raised up out of stones are created FROM THAT PARTICULAR DAY!

Jesus was in the Father's bosom from eternity, not out of stones!

    Peace and love in Jesus

Jammin hang in there. It's crazy how people can read that Jesus is called God even by the Father yet they can't call Him that themselves. Unity is not something they seem to understand. It takes balls to do what you do! Go Jammin!!

How hard is it to say that Jesus is our God with God and they are one??

If you want to grow some balls, then be brave and call angels and judges gods too. Don't cherry pick things to suit your doctrines. Just be honest up front and say truth no matter what. That is how you transform yourself. But when we are self-absorbed we are not free like a child to speak the truth, but are careful about keeping our credibility intact in the eyes of men.

Theos and Elohim is used of God, Jesus, Judges, Angels, Satan, and earthquakes. So go for it. Stop giving half-truths which is what Satan also does.

    Can you say this t8:

Jesus is our God with God and they are one??

I can't say the same for judges, angels, satan and earthquakes because I don't believe any of them are MY God.

Well there is your bias right there.

    Worship God all you gods.
Ye are gods, you are all SONS of the Most High.

So yes, if sons of God can be theos, then how much more is Jesus theos.

So long as you have the correct meaning, then I can say it.
However, my guess is that you have a different meaning and thus I have to disagree with your meaning as it is too tainted for me to concur with.

    t8,
Honestly didn't think you could do it but you have proved me wrong.

That is great that you can say “Jesus is our God with God and they are one.”

BTW, that means that two Gods are one. :;):

Yes that is right. I am not willing to concur with your meaning.
That is why you knew I couldn't do it because I have yet to concur with your understanding of theos. So why would I agree with you now.

Not hard to understand why is it. Just being wise as a serpent and harmless as a dove. We need to tread carefully among those who place thorns on the ground.

But you said that you could say that. You are reading too much into it and not keeping it simple. Don't assume what I might be meaning.

Say it like a child would say it.

Jesus is our God with God and they are one.

Obviously that says two Gods are one. A child can see this.
Be wise enough to accept this simple truth. It is harmless as a dove. I don't see any thorns.

Yes I can say it. But it likely would not mean what you want it to mean.

So yes I can say it. If I was with like minded people I could. But in your company and Trinitarians, they would get the wrong end of the stick.

But they all have theos and/or elohim applied to them in a legitimate way. So you lack a complete understanding of these words. This is only adds to your confusion.

    t8,
    According to this verse:

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him (the Father) who is true; and we are in Him (the Father) who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

I think that the first and second 'Him' here would be the Father.

I understand this passage like this:

true God + eternal life (for us)=us in Christ who is in the Father

Apart from being in Christ, there is no eternal life for us in the true God the Father. They Father and the Son are interdependent in bringing us eternal life. Neither one is alone in doing this.

That seems to be the thrust of the passage and the rest of the chapter. We NEED to be IN Christ.

Okay. I thought I agreed, but I think you are actually merging the two as the ONE true God.

If that is the case, then The Father and son have a son called Jesus. That is the original Jesus and his son.

Obviously you are barking up the wrong tree if you make them both the true God because the true God has a son called Jesus.

    t8,
Perhaps most members in the Believer's section could say that too. However, when you get down to it, no one would be completely like minded. Not even you, Mike and Pierre.

How could we all understand this completely. Who can explain what elohim or theos means with complete and perfect understanding? I dare say…no one.

If 100 people polled could say that, I would bet that you would get 100 different understandings…some more similar than others.

I am not making them both true God. I am however saying that the true God is interdependent with the Son, the only begotten God in regards to eternal life.

No human has a COMPLETE understanding of those words, t8, I'm quite sure.
