I believe the trouble with many denominations is they make one truth, the truth, thus missing all truth.
Good point.

I found this scripture and it seems to point to a planet wide flood IMO.
2 Peter 3:5-7
For when they maintain this, it escapes their notice that by the word of God the heavens existed long ago and the earth was formed out of water and by water, through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. But by His…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Does the "Whole Earth" mean the "planet" in scripture? in the forum Truth or Tradition 9 years, 9 months ago

Not sure who wrote it to be honest. If it was a quiz I would say Moses. But it could have been written by Noah originally. The Book of Noah or fragments of Noah exists in the Book of Enoch today. The book of Enoch (like the Bible) is a compilation of books from different authors. The book is also ancient. Enoch was the…[Read more]

I am not saying this is or isn’t the case, rather that we cannot deny or confirm any of these explanations using scripture alone. I think the story in Genesis is too vague to draw such exact conclusions.
Scripture doesn’t rule out necessarily that the area of the known world was flooded leaving eight souls in all, but that may not…[Read more]

I am not saying this is the case, but that we cannot deny it using scripture.
That part of the world could have been flooded leaving eight souls in all, but that may not have had anything to do with China, the Americas, Australia, or Africa etc.
Scientist believe that at some point the world had one super continent that broke…[Read more]

Thanks for your posts.
First I would like to say a few things.
I am not against the idea that God flooded the whole planet. It makes sense on many levels such as God will destroy the earth again with fire, and then a new heavens and earth. So why not previously with water. God could have rebooted the whole planet on multiple…[Read more]

First, I moved this topic to Help Desk. Hope that is okay.
Yes I have noticed this problem myself and am looking into it. Googling this problem seems to bring up other forums that were imported to WordPress. But I haven’t found a conclusive fix from anyone. It is possible that future updates will fix this without me having to do…[Read more]

I have a friend who owns a Harley. He hangs with the God Squad.
I use to own a trail bike. I can’t afford a Harley.

As previously mentioned by Mike. All the text was bold, so bolding text was pointless.
I have set it so that text is forced as un-bolded unless otherwise stipulated.By default, text in forums is not bold, but because of unclosed bold tags in some posts, it renders all consequent posts as bold.
This is why…[Read more]Admin started the topic Signature enabled in the forum 10 years, 5 months ago

Your BB Code was correct, but it was in the wrong order.
In BB Code as it is in HTML, you need to nest your tags correctly. I will use non-tags to give you the idea.

It would be helpful to have a button to view “new posts” on each page
Can we change our default color for letters?New posts will always be the last post as it was in the previous forum.
The advantage of that is readers can read the conversation in a natural way.I have asked the members to give me some feedback if they pre…[Read more]

Okay, regarding quoting posts. The bane of the last forum platform was it encouraged lazy quotes and whole threads became quotes withing quotes within quotes which I rarely read. But when not abused it was a great feature. This platform doesn’t have this feature and I am guessing because of this.
