When I state something followed by “my opinion” I''m saying that it is to the best of my understanding and I'm submitting it for discussion to better understand truth, if I state things as facts, then I'm teaching.Wm

Stu,As to the sun coming along on the 4th day some believe that refers to the clearing of the sky so it became visible from earth, but it was there from day one. Others believe that the light (possibly the Son not the sun) referred to on day 1 could sustain the plant life much as referred to in Revelation where it says we will have no need of the…[Read more]

Stu,I'm sure your asking, knowing that we will respond with the moon so you can then smugly point out that the moon is not a source of light but only reflects the sun. I would like to point out that the majority of the light from a flashlight is also reflected light but we refer to it as light.WmSorry if I misjudged you but it is obvious you take…[Read more]

I believe that when Thomas saw Jesus he realized that he was seeing the expression of the Father in bodily form (when you've seen me you've seen the Father). Nick,Kathi has not added to scripture, only repeated it, is your problem with scripture? There are many verses that say Jesus is God, however none that say He was, or is, equal to the Father. It was the Father who gave Him all authority and power and is the source, so if one worships the Son it only passes through to the Father. As my practice I…[Read more]

Kathi,I agree, I believe that the “first born of all creation” comes from when the Father, having determined to create our corporeal reality, spoke it into existence. The Lord will surely exalt those who humble themselves. I believe it is love that will make us aware of how we are dealing with others and of course love sums up a true Christians walk, be blessed brother, neither of us has all truth but the closer we draw to the Lord the more our differences will disappear.I appreciate your being here, Wm
