Kathi,Genitive, verb, accusative, noun, direct object, dangling participle… WHAT!… Can you translate that into English for me Greek… I still do not have English down. I'm joking of course, it seems I'm misunderstood a lot lately, perhaps I should have paid more attention to grammar in school. Thanks Sis

Ed,You misunderstood me, I agree that 1Corinthians 6:20 is possessive, I agree that the word used in Psalm 82:6 could mean possessive but JESUS SAID “33 The Jews replied, We are not going to stone You for a good act, but for blasphemy, because You, a mere Man, make Yourself God.34 Jesus answered, Is it not written in your Law, I said, You are…[Read more]

(Psalm 82:6) In modern English we have the possessive form of the word God: “God's”.Ed,While example 1 is a good point, I cannot agr…[Read more]

Happyman, Ed, & TK,You three summed up how I feel, once I have laid out my argument as best I can and an opponent is asking further questions, not to understand, but for ammunition to formulate a response, it has gone far enough. Along that same line; once someone reaches the point that love is no longer his/her motivation and they begin to…[Read more]

The process assumes equilibrium through out history. However a major atmospheric disturbance (such as a Biblical flood) could have changed the ratio making items appear older with a higher percentage of carbon 12. Wm

Thank you to all who have responded it is appreciated. Truth is obtained only by revelation from the Holy Spirit, we should both seek and share it. I guess if we had all truth and wisdom we would “put our opponents to silence” & “from that day on no one dared to ask him (us) any more questions.” but I'm lacking in both. So the best I can do is lay…[Read more]

Thanks Kathi,I started this poll out of a desire to determine if I was out of line by refusing to carry on arguments. I really do believe it is wrong to argue endlessly on non-essential issues, but others feel its lazy, cowardly, lacking integrity, etc. so I wanted to see if there are any valid arguments to doing so. Good point on fools, I always…[Read more]
