Quote (kerwin @ Jan. 23 2013,02:34)To all,As Stu declares, this question seems pointless. It can be tested very easily today by using a random key stroke generator to simulate the monkey's typing. Sooner or later all the strings of the 23rd Psalm would appear, provided God or Satan did not interfere.Statisticians should be able to determine the…[Read more]

Tim,What is your thoughts on my post a couple up? I was troubled for years with the claim that “God is in control” especially when given to grieving loved ones as a supposed word of comfort. And then they add to their grief with words on their eternal suffering in hell, the statement “God is in control” sours pretty quick. With this kind of gospel…[Read more]

terraricca,Possibly both, at least I'm wondering if it pointed from His physical birth all the way through the process of creating His body (the Christian era) ending in the rapture of it (Child was caught up to God) and the beginning of God dealing with Israel (tribulation).Speculation only – Wm

terraricca,I believe that angels pre-existed man, and scripture does not exclude that angels may have had some role on our world (not that I believe it, but I do not want to add to scripture by claiming something scripture does not mention). As to my claim that females were born first, it seems to fit the facts we are given in scripture better, but…[Read more]

Mike/terraricca,Scriptures do not record the birth of women, I believe that Adam and Eve gave birth to many females prior to the birth of Cain and Able (that is why she proclaimed “With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man.”) thus you have wives for Cain/Seth. As to “virtually insist there MUST HAVE BEEN others before Adam.” I agree but…[Read more]

Tim,I do not believe that God is the “cause” of everything. He made laws (not 10 commandment type, but laws of physics, thermodynamics, etc..) to govern our universe, these resulted in a basic cause and effect environment. Thus storms and most other “natural” occurrence are just that, a natural occurrence. He then gave man dominion allowing for us…[Read more]
