Quote (Stu @ Aug. 06 2011,12:41)I never claimed any evidence for no god, although I could if you wanted. You would have to tell me what a god is, first. At least you admit this now.Case closed. Interesting link.So the sun that heats up the earth is the cause of the earth heating up. Well who would have guessed.I remember reading back in 2006 (or thereabouts), the explanation of the extra red spot on Jupiter was the result of the sun. The argument was, if the sun is affecting Jupiter which is further from us, then what about the Earth.I…[Read more]

The faith and works debate is interesting. There is no work that we can do that makes us perfect because the soul that sins must die. However, in order to receive the free gift of salvation, a work or response is required from us.Similarly, if I inherit a fortune, I still might be required to sign a document in order to receive it legally. This is a…[Read more]

Quote (mikeboll64 @ Sep. 06 2011,11:24)He claims that God would have had to divide Himself to beget a Son. And I'm trying to get the “WHY?” of that one answered too, but so far to no avail.God bringing brought forth a son from himself, even if it was considered a division, still wouldn't lessen God. Dividing infinite still leaves infinite.

Quote (ftk @ Sep. 07 2011,01:21)Mark: An interesting Point to that scripture! Was Jesus saying that he was not good? Or was Jesus admitting he was God? I think we would both have to agree that Jesus was not saying he was bad or “not good”!Jesus was acknowledging that all the good that he possess comes from his Father. He was not taking the glory…[Read more]

Quote Matthew 15:8“‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me;Again we see an example of a singular demomstrative pronoun, 'this.' with a compound unity designated as 'people.' When proponents of this doctrine use a word that designates a group, that has nothing to do with God. Because if YHWH (God) is a group, then rea…[Read more]

The YHWH Compound Unity Being (YCUB) is not taught in scripture and we are taught that there is one One God the Father. That said, I will play along with this game again just to show that you can make anything a compound unity if you desire.1 Timothy 5:21I charge you, in the sight of God and Christ Jesus and the elect angelsA compound unity being…[Read more]

While you are there KJ, you might have missed this. How do you refute the following:”The head of the woman is the man and the head of Christ is God.”When identifying these, the woman is not the man and Christ is not God.But your argument is to make the woman man so you can make Christ God.How do you intend to get away that this obvious blunder of yours?

Quote (Kangaroo Jack @ Sep. 05 2011,02:19)The unity in John 10:30 of the Father and the Son is not about identity and nature. God likely exists outside his own creation too.He wouldn't be contained or subject to his own creation. And by his spirit he fills creation, although because he doesn't dwell with sin, he is putting all under the feet of Christ in order to be judged and redeemed.
