There is no such thing as “you are angel” or “you are rocket scientist”. Give it up already.
Exactly. So if we ADD in an indefinite article to make the sentence work in English despite it not being there in Greek, then one can argue that you are an actual angel when that is not what was intended. See that? If i say that you are an angel, then I t…[Read more]

Peter’s statement has no bearing on our discussion, because we’re not talking about how God experiences days, but about what God means when He talks to humans about a certain number of days.
But man wasn’t created either. And you place the sun on day 4. Yet somehow, it is 24 hours despite the text not saying so. Makes perfect sense Mike. Lol.…[Read more]

Show us. Find a scripture or two where God talks to human beings about a certain number of days, but God is really talking about a certain number of thousand year periods instead. Is there a second witness to your assumption that when God says “days” to human beings, He is talking about thousand, million or billion year periods? Or do you on…

See my argument to Proclaimer on this subject. It is 6 posts above this one. In short, we don’t know how God experiences days, but Peter was certainly not trying to say that exactly every thousand years that go by on earth God counts as a single day in heaven.
Exactly. It is basically saying that a day to us is 24 hours or so. A day to him is…[Read more]

Will do some chopping later. I haven’t read those questions. Which question is the most important?

The scriptures tell us that the universe was created (not from eternity) and that it will end (not to eternity). So no, the universe most certainly does not have an eternal nature.
Anyway, enough pontificating.
Good. Because no one is saying this. Only you brought that up.

I don’t say that the universe is eternal. It could be though. An eternal God can generate an eternal universe I guess. But if I look at the size of the nown universe and especially if we understand that size, then that shows the eternal nature of God.
A pizza in fry pan with a lid on top doesn’t show eternal nature. It shows a technically…[Read more]

The “eternal nature of the cosmos”? Are you suggesting that the heaven wasn’t created, but is from eternity?
Didn’t say that, yet you quote it as if I did. Read what I said slowly please.

What do we learn from this passage?
That God created the heavens and the earth. Then these were set in the vault. So you can now see the celestial objects.

How did you come up with that figure? The first day was a heaven and earth that was basically just a big blob of water – and then light. The following days consisted of many more things than that.
Buy a powerful telescope look at the eternal nature of the cosmos. And wait for the images that will come in from the James Webb telescope. Also tak…[Read more]

What was Found Under The Ice Antarctica?
Just recently, the fifth largest continent in the world recorded a temperature of minus 89.2 degrees Celsius. Atta boy! Now say it clearly so there are no misinterpretations on our part. Are you really saying that God created THE HEAVEN and THE EARTH within that six day period? If so, say it plainly for us.
One way to interpret is that he created all things in 6 stages that are not how you understand a day as measured by teh sun. That first stage co…[Read more]

Now you guys try it. What things did Yahweh say He made in six days – according to the scripture above?
Already answered this Mike.
A day to the Lord is not the same as a day for man who measures a day by the sun.
So God created all things in 6 days. No problem.
But the text says he was pretty much done and dusted by the end of the first da…[Read more]
