Quote (Stu @ Nov. 12 2012,02:13)I think the key to keeping up with McGrath hinges on deciphering his convoluted language and exposing its logical fallacies. He spends a lot of time agreeing that Dawkins has good questions but he hasn't actually got intellectually adequate answers for them. He asserts the properties of the god he believes in by p…[Read more]

Are you a follower ofPaulApollosCephasJesus 1 Corinthians 1:12-1312 What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas”; still another, “I follow Christ.”13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul?

So Kathi, roughly how many times is Jesus called 'theos' in the New Testament. You can give an exact number if you happen to google it.Or you can give an indication like under 10. Over 100 or something like that.I want to establish how common you think the usage of theos is for Jesus Christ before making a further point.

Praise goes to God and to the Lamb.God is the Father. The Lamb is the son of God who gave his life for us.

Quote (Lightenup @ Nov. 13 2012,13:55)The problem with this Mike, is YHWH is not just God but God and Lord. You just want YHWH to be God but not Lord apparently.LU, you appear confused.God made Jesus Lord.So God is greater than Lord.Yes technically speaking God is the Lord of Jesus, but God made Jesus Lord over all, except God of course. The title…[Read more]

Gene could I have an answer here. You have never given me an answer to who is the first born of all creation. Who according to you is the first that God ever brought into existence. If it was not Jesus Christ as the Word then who was it because surely the first to be brought into existence must be a very special person given that firstborns are…[Read more]
