Also from here:http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080728123800AALVzER“GOD was manifest in the flesh” is not found in the earliest manuscripts. It actually occurs quite late in the extant Greek manuscripts. So the modern refined master texts, such as Westcott and Hort or Nestle-Aland, prefer the earlier readings. Most modern Bible…[Read more]

Your God is THEM, ours is HIM as stated in scripture. The true God is the Father. But yeah, go right ahead and break the first commandment and teach men to do the same.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080728123800AALVzERThank you so much for this question. It is a very interesting one.A few weeks ago, I inquired of a Greek translator who often posts on this site, asking him this very same thing. He kindly and carefully explained to me that, first off, one must understand the nomina sacra (sacred…[Read more]

1 Timothy 3:16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. This scripture infers that Jesus is God. Although you could argue that even we should manifest God in our lives knowing full…[Read more]

If God is primarily a mind/conscience, then all vile thoughts that come from free agents that he created will surely be destroyed.

The only answer he can give you is that Jesus must be his own God.But he won't say that and he won't answer you either.Instead any reply he might give will try and focus you away from this dilemma he has and argue another scripture that is easier to manipulate.Although now that I have said this, he might try and prove me wrong and do something I…[Read more]

Quote (Stu @ Jan. 24 2013,21:23)I disagree that your god has any rights over me at all.Stu, that is why God takes people out of existence.Because they don't want God to have any right over them.God is love and God is life. If you reject God, then you are in effect supporting the outcome.

I don't think that God is everywhere myself.Scripture makes it clear that God will be in all, but this is yet to happen. We are awaiting all things to be put under Jesus feet and then he will hand it back.Unless of course we view God as an eternal conscience and creation is within his own conscience or mind. I guess then you could say that God is…[Read more]
