Mike, I did that test in IE and it had no bearing on the pages downloading because the icons loaded last. In other words I was able to see each page before the icons download. This leads me to believe that you are using an old version of IE because I know that in old versions around IE6, the browser engine needed to load everything in a HTML table…[Read more]

Gene, when Jesus said “Before Abraham, I am” he was saying he existed before Abraham. “I am” means I exist. “I think therefore I am”. When God said “I am that I am”, what did he mean? So when Jesus says, “I am”, he was implying not that he was God, but that he existed just as God exists.Let the Bible interpret itself, and throw away your own…[Read more]

Quote (mikeboll64 @ Mar. 20 2013,14:46)To me, these things just seem like simple, God-given common sense. But I've noticed that those who attempt to force the words of scripture to support their own, man-made doctrines, often do so at the expense of common sense.Agreed. It still surprises me when people argue against common sense. This proves to…[Read more]

Quote (2besee @ Mar. 20 2013,12:16)The “Early Church Fathers” are completely inconsistent in what they wrote, IMO. And also why did only their writings survived all of the burnings? I would not trust them at all, and 'yes', I have read them.It is this misunderstanding of their words that has led to the Trinity. If you understand the usage of theos…[Read more]
